Real estate listing site

I have been asked to design a website for a friends real estate business and I am looking for a php script that will allow him to be able to upload his own listings and such. Does anyone have any suggestions on a script?

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image.
Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions

Calculators and Searches for Real Estate Web Site

I have a friend who has asked if I can make a real estate page for them them using my iWeb '08 program.
I've never done anything like mortgage calculators and home/msl searches. Does anyone know how to do these things, web sites that help with this, or is it even possible?
Any advise, tutorials, links, anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

Your friend should have access to the MLS through their Realtor Association.

I'm sure you'll find other sites like this for other areas.
A realtor doesn't allow clients to search for homes - that's their job.
The best thing to have on a site like this is a form that potential clients can fill in with all the details of their requirements.
Wufoo has a mortgage application form which I modified for collecting home buyer information. Don't ask me how I did it because it was about two years ago!
As long as you are publishing to a hosting company that allows you to run scripts, you can build your own forms. Tutorial....

Hello all.
Wondering if anyone out there has successfully integrated a real estate listing system (MLS or Realtor.ca or similar) into a BC site?
I am building a site and looking for any help/suggestions to integrate external listing data into a BC site.
Has anyone had any luck with API integration or third party API systems?

Upload? You should be able to tap and hold down on an image until the Copy or Save Image options popup. Tap Save and it should be saved to the camera roll album in the photos app.

Muse vs Wordpress for Real Estate site?

I need to make a fairly complex site for a real estate developer who has several subdivisions and offers extensive services. I would love to use Muse for the design flexibility, but I can't find how I can make a searchable database of properties that the site owner could update.
Do I really need to use Wordpress to accomplish this?!

Set up real estate site w/business catalyst and muse

Hi! totally newbie to business catalyst.
I'm attempting to link my adobe muse site with a web app for real estate listings on business catalyst. I tried following this tutorial but i think i'm missing a step. Creating a searchable real estate website

I have yet to really get down and dirty with ADDT; so, I'd like to know three things:
1) Has anyone out there used ADDT to create a searchable website for a real estate company?
2) If so, how long did it take you (as an independent web designer)?
3) Finally, how much experience do you have in backend development?

to put things into perspective :: I guess I should have better asked you how complex (or not) the to-be-estimated search criteria for your property site will be, respectively if you think that this search criteria could be handled by an ADDT Dynamic List.
My stuff has always been very complicated, because it was a Turkey wide property search spanning several cities and all kinds of property offers like villas, apartments and building ground, which all have separate criteria, means that I had to assemble a unified search which had to grab the results from even more than one table.
I think this does make a difference -- how complicated is your stuff, what are you going to search for exactly ?
Also, Chapter 14 of the ADDT documentation mentions creating your own CSS skins. Why could this feature not be used to style such a site? Or does it not do what it purports to do?

For instance I view an apartment ad which has various pictures attached. It says click on the pictures to see an enlarged version. FF opens the page however most of the page is blank and the picture appears to be pushed to the right side of the page and shows as if it has been scrunched agains the right side not showing the whole picture.
What Can I do to correct this?

I see that you have increased some font sizes considerably.
* font.size.fixed.x-western: 20
* font.size.variable.x-western: 22
This can effect margins when the website specifies these as em values and cause content to shift.
If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.
You can use the NoSquint extension to set font size (text/page zoom) and text color on web pages.

I have a Web App for property listings for a real estate website. There are item fields as follows:

Surrounding Suburb List:
Edensor Park
Hoxton Park
Denham Court
Cecil Hills
Abbotsbury
Say a property is listed in Edensor Park as the main suburb and Hoxton Park and Denham Court are also selected as its surrounding suburbs.
On the website's search form, the visitor selects, for example, Edensor Park. I need the search results to show everything listed in Edensor Park as well as in the surrounding suburbs of Hoxton Park and Denham Court. Is this at all possible?

The Filter settings are sticky. Every container listed on the Library tab of the Inspector keeps it's own Filter settings, set to whatever was last used.
I'm not aware of any way to set a default Filter.
You could create a Folder and put a Smart Album in that Folder with "Source" set to the Folder. Any Albums or Projects you put in the Folder become the superset for the Filter you set in the Smart Album. This is a pretty sophisticated set-up, however. What is the filter you need, and how often do you need it?

Apple usually does this for OSX and its great when compared to windows where it doesnt use up all the real estate for viewing applications like websites and pdf files but when it comes to iBooks, it feels like there is no apple touch to it and is limited.
If steve jobs were still alive, i bet there wouldnt be this problem >.>
Please consider this as a real problem for people out there who would like to see 2 pages in landscape mode with pdf files and not just epub files.
