Real Estate Classic Question (General Contract - Term End Date)

Hi there. I wonder if there is anyone who could answer this question for me.
I am currently using RE Classic and I am having a problem capturing the true end date of a lease (General Contract).
We are currently driven by the date of when the GC is paid up to and is causing us problems when it comes to reporting.
Hopefully my example might help:-
The Start Date of the Lease is 01.04.2009
The End Date of the Lease is 31.03.2011 (This is the date held in the Resubmission - Lease Expiry)
We want to bring the Lease to a close due to ending our agreement early. The date of this is 31.03.2010.
However due to the fact we have paid in advance up to the 31.03.2011 I cant enter the date of 31.03.2010 otherwise this will create follow up postings.
The problem I now have, is that I want to run a report with all my current Leases (General Contracts) but this one still appears because the End Date in the system is 31.03.2011, even though we have ended on the 31.03.2010. (The report is assuming this GC is still live)
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Or do I need to explain this in more detail?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply Diane.
The problem is two fold. Putting in the actual date of the lease ending is causing follow up postings in the cash flow, hence the reason we have been advised to put in the date of the final posting date. (and not the true expiry date)
And on both Standard and ABAP reports the problem it causes is due to the date of the contract end being set to the final posting date.
The reports look at today being the 8th June and sees that this contract is live because we haven't reached the final posting date. So effectively this lease has ended but because the final posting date is say 30.11.2010 it will stay on the reports until the 1st December then it will drop off.
Hopefully I have explained this clearly for you. If not please say.

Report for Qty Contract and Value Contract with PO release exceeding limits

Is there a std report in SAP that the users can use to view Qty and Val Contracts that has exceed in Qty (in case of Qty Contracts) or Val (in case of Val Contracts) ?

hi Duke,
If thinking logically, then there is no report for the same..this may be because you enter the qty or value limits in the contract doc itself....So, when you make the PO for the same, and if the qty or value exceeds the system automatically provides the message..stating that the qty or value has exceeded....
So, there is no report for the same...

Report For Sub Contract Material

Dear Experts,
Is there any standard report for finding the details of the subcontract.
I tried through ME2O, MBLB where I am not getting the report I wanted.
I want to take a montly report for all the subcontract work given to the vendor. (The work is completed )

In ME2L I am able to get the details, but the problem is;
I want to get a report which will give me the full details of the Sub COntract PO.
Example. I created a Sub COntract PO for Fineshed Material A. For makng Material A I need to supply Material B, Material C to the Sub Contract Vendor.
I want to know by the end of the month
1) The Subcontract PO
2) Final Material (Material A)
3) Raw materials Supplied to vendor (Material B & Material C)
4) Status of the order
5) Material A given back to me
6) remaining Material (Material A)

Recommendation for correct wide angle lens and flash for real estate photos for Canon Rebel T3i?

Hi I'm new to the forum. I always hire out a professional photog for my real estate photos however have thought that with the amount that I pay them, I could buy my own wide angle lens to do on my own.
Any recommendations for what wide angle lens and flash to buy?
Here are some examples of the work they have done in the past for me:

Your samples look like incredibility simple images to do. I also suspect little artificial light was added. Possibly just a bounce off the ceiling.
Since you already have a Rebel T3i, I would get the Canon 430 EX, and just one. But be aware it will likely not provide equal coverage for a 10-22mm lens. Ten millimeters is pretty wide even on a T3i. Bouncing off the ceiling will help this.
Some ceilings may not be good for bounce either.
Give it a go and you will learn what works and what not. But the old saying, KISS, applies. You will learn!
Photshop and/or Lightroom are great additions. They both have learning curves and PS a very long learning curve.

Classic Real Estate - General Contract - Maintain Flow Types

In 46C ( Classic Real Estate Module ) when creating Flow Type System defaults to Contract Type '3' ( Lease -out - Real Estate ). How can we change the default to Contract Type '9' ( General Contract - Real Estate ).
I am trying to create a Condition Type for General Contract and assign it to a Flow Type. But the Flow types default to Lease - Out Real Estate.

Under General Contract ( 46C ) there is no Define / Create Flow Type. Also there is no Maintain condition Type.

Organization structure for real-estate project

I am required to work in a real-estate company project.
I am confused about the organization structure which should be created for the company.
The company undertakes various projects like housing, shopping complexes, malls, wind-mills, etc. and want to know the profitability reports of each individual project. Every time company will be starting new new construction activities.
Please suggest an organization element how I can represent these in the Controlling Area and avoid number of GL accounts growing out of numbers.

Drill Down Report gives an error for General Ledger.

Hi,
I'm using the transaction GCAC to compare general ledger with profit centre accounting.While drilling down the report for PCA, the report works fine and gets drilled down to the invoice in SAP.But I get an error when I try to drill down the report for general ledger.It gives an error GI358 i.e. No line items were selected.The diagnosis of the error message shows that pool tables have to converted to transparent tables.
I want to know whether the error occurs beacuse of pool tables issue and if yes then how can we remove the error.

Calculators and Searches for Real Estate Web Site

I have a friend who has asked if I can make a real estate page for them them using my iWeb '08 program.
I've never done anything like mortgage calculators and home/msl searches. Does anyone know how to do these things, web sites that help with this, or is it even possible?

A realtor doesn't allow clients to search for homes - that's their job.
The best thing to have on a site like this is a form that potential clients can fill in with all the details of their requirements.
Wufoo has a mortgage application form which I modified for collecting home buyer information. Don't ask me how I did it because it was about two years ago!

Difference between Classic RE and RE-FX (Real Estate Management)?

I am in a product developement team for developing a industrial Solution for HomeBuilding, for that we require Real estate(RE) Management Component....
So i want to know some of the basics of the RE....
Can someone explain me,
1) The difference between Classic RE and RE-FX.
2) Now which we have to use for Homebuilding.
3) what are the prerequisites for using RE or RE-FX.
4) From which version they are available. can we still use classic RE.
5) What is the difference in using RE Management as individual application and as a part of Homebuilding....

So you want to know some of the basics of the RE....
Real Estate Management module is more robust in managing Real Estate properties for activities and processes like leasing, property maintenance like manging repairs etc (when attached to Plant Maintenance module). You can also use it for Lease in's. (caution: please associate 'renting' wherever lease is mentioned, not to get confused with lease of machinery or financia lease etc.)
The main master data in RE are like Business Entity,Property, Buildings, Rental Units and Leaseout. These are called RE-Objects and they are also Controlling objects. For example let's take Spenzer Plaza in Chennai and you are the owner. The whole Spencer Plaza will be a Business Entity. The land in there will be created as a Property and the building structure as Building. The several floors or the individual rentable portions will be created as Rental Units. When 'Planet M' approaches you to rent one of the floors, you create a Lease out with reference to one of the Rental Unit.
The system automatically creates a schecule of periodic rentals called cash flow and it has the capabilities to debit the customer Planet M account with the rent due. etc.
You can also maintain information to land through Land Register.

These are not used for Homebuilding.

You need to have FI and CO before you can use REM.

4.5B onwards RE was introduced as a Inudstry specific module under FI. It became as a part of FI from 4.6B December 1999. The RE-FX cameinto effect from Enterprise version.
You can continue to use RE Classic even in later releases. But once you activate the RE-FX you can no longer user Classic. There is a switch to start using RE-FX.
1) The difference between Classic RE and RE-FX.
There were some restriction in classic RE that you must have an RE Objects before you can create a contract. In RE-FX these have been removed. For more information on RE-FX you can read the release notes available on SAP's help portal.

Webview not showing real time reports

Hi,
I have a customer with IPCC Enterprise 7.5 and using the Webview for reporting. The Real Time reports are empty although campaigns are running and agents are logged in. The Historical Reports works absolutely fine. I noticed that for the dialer port status report, I had to enable a setting through the registry, according to the following document:

I changed that and then the Real Time report for the dialer port status works. Nothing else from the Real Time reports returns any data.

We are using only the Outbound option, so it's only for the outbound. It doesn't give me any Real Time report except the dialer port status. It doesn't return any error, but the report is empty.
