I verified this by looking at one of my apps, and the "release date" was the same day I submitted it. However it showed up in the app store (10 days later) .. therefore I believe that the release date is actually accurate.
What does this mean?
I believe it means that most apps that hit the appstore are getting churned out the same day. If you don't get released on the same day, you might be in for a very long wait, or there is something wrong with you / your app.
Some ideas:
- App that is uninteresting to the reviewers
- It's your second+ app
- Bad reviews / low popularity for existing apps
- Problems with the App
It's an interesting problem. It's unclear to me that there is a solution, except to write high quality, innovative, interesting apps that your pretty sure Apple will like and will get reviewed well / be popular .. which I suppose, isn't such a bad thing, all considered.

My first app took 8 days to go from review to pending contract. It's been pending contract for 3 days now.
I find it unlikely a lot of apps are getting to the store in 1 day.

you can try using the dbms_lock package to create your own lock,
this way you can choose to not automatically release the lock
when you commit.
I never used it, but in the oracle documentation you should find
more information about how to use this package.

LoL...Memory Quick Test...LMAO. Quick it surely is. Useful? Highly doubt it. Tested 10GB (system has 16GB) ...wait for it....in 9.897 seconds. And it was titled "Advanced Integrity Test"?? Seriously?
It's probably just something Lenovo thought of doing so that they can say: We have engineered a utility to specifically test the memory integrity of our systems. Each system is tested with stability in mind, and end users can also carry out the tests with ease, on demand, without leaving the Windows environment.
To the developer(s) involved, this is not to bash your work, but rather, you were probably given a number of contraints from higher up. Sometime along the line of: Write something to test the memory, show some messages. And then we can productise this. Don't over engineering it...as it will impact the cost. Just something simple will do.
Another half-baked attempt by Lenovo.

I have been with Verizon for 14 years but after my experience on 3/31 & again on 4/1 that it might as well have been 14 minutes. (And for the record, my plan is still not upgrade, nor has my request for a call back by management been answered 3 days later. I had an unsuccessful attempt trying to change my plan online and upgrade my two iphones that have been out of contract for over a year so I called customer service. I was not only disconnected, transferred to a number that was closed, but spend hours waiting to finally speak to a real person. Let's explain, after 1 close incident of being helped (2nd time calling in 45 minutes waiting), the person only transferred me to a "less busy department" where I was placed on hold again. 2 hours into the evening I finally spoke with a representative. The rep spent 30 minutes on the phone with me, explained plan options, confirmed where to ship the 2 new free iphone 5c but then on his side, said he couldn't get the promotion code to enter but "not to worry", he will have his manager take care of it the next day. I called back the next day, and jumped thru the same holding hoops, only to find out that there "nothing they can do, no way to complete my transaction from the night before and they don't show anything". I requested to be transferred to a manager because I was told 3 times the night before it was not a big deal, I would get the iphone 5c for free, it was just a technical issue on the rep side and now this other employee is saying, "Nope, nothing can be done, your too late". How am I too late? I called, I attempted to upgrade, that employee ran into technical issues, and I have to miss out on taking advantage of a phone upgrade promo? They said they would open up a 360 and someone may or may not call me back. This is the worst way to treat customers and the best ways to lose them. Their entire call center if full of people who can't make things happen for customers, but only to be rude, difficult and antagonizing. Verizon is fine if you never have to deal with customer service, so its a sign and quit once out of contract.

'virtual' studio backdrop on the V1 channel.
Here's my problem....I need to make the backdrop last
as long as the video clip...in other words I actually
need the duration to be about eight to nine minutes.
What is happening is that the background jumps as it
reaches each repeated clip.
Can anyone give me some quick steps on fixing this
problem...it's the only thing that is ruining the
project.

You need to find the frame at which the background is supposed to loop. In other words if you are using the entire background clip and the last frame of the clip is not the frame meant to be before the first frame of the clip then you need to find a frame forward from the first frame or backward from the last frame that would smooth out the video.

And the service is only a little faster than the aircard for all the grief and despite what the Verizon service area maps say,
Wouldn't recommend it and wish we hadn't made the change.

I am currently in the process of looking for a replacement for my Dell XPS M1710. It has been a great machine, but after 4 years it is starting to show its age. As of now I have narrowed it down to two choices, the w520 and an apple macbook pro 17 inch.
It seems that both will have similar performance. With the top of the line options for the MBP and top of the line options for the w520, the Lenovo has somewhat of an advantage processor-wise, but that isn't enough for me to worry about. In order to decide I would like to see some real videos of the w520 in action, but all I can find online are 3 videos: The 15 minute by Lenovo, the 4 minute by Lenovo and the "How an art director uses the thinkpad", also by Lenovo.
Does anyone know where I can view a good video of the machine in use? I am especially keen to see how good the screen is. If it had a glossy screen, I would have already pulled the trigger. Since it doesn't, I am hesitant because I don't really like how matte screens I have seen look dark.
One other thing, what is that thing between the trackpad and the keyboard on the w520?

I tried opening all the vi's in a stripped down project, doing a "save as" on each before closing them all and then did a build which failed in the same way.
I also tried creating a .lvlib library file, added the vi's to it and got the same build failure.
