Real-Time 120fps web video now possible! (for 120Hz monitor users)

With the emergence of "120fps" cameras (Galaxy S4, GoPro Hero 3, Casio EX-FC200S, and the upcoming iPhone 5S), Blur Busters did some research on a distribution medium for playing back 120fps videos in real-time. We have discovered some good news.
(1) Presently, 120Hz monitors are quite popular among high-end video game players. There are more than a dozen models avaialble:

One of the more popular models is the VG248QE, which as over 60 reviews on Amazon (4.5 out of 5 stars).
(2) The web is now a potential 120fps video distribution medium; and some computer users use 120Hz computer monitors now. There is now a way to speed up 120fps slow-motion to 120fps real-time, and it was recently discovered that all the popular web browsers support 120fps@120Hz (Internet Explorer, Chrome, and the new FireFox 25+ Beta) using the <VIDEO> element are now capable of playing back at 120fps in real time on a 120Hz computer monitor:

In general, any machine capable of playing back 1080p@60fps, is easily capable of playing back 720p@120fps. Both are pretty similiar bitrates. Also, some websites (www.testufo.com using Chrome browser) also shows that it's now possible in some web browsers to automatically detect the refresh rate of a web visitor, so you can present 120fps videos automatically only to 120Hz visitors.
I want to make sure that Adobe Premiere Pro is capable of converting 120fps slow-mo into 120fps real-time, as a natively-encoded 120fps H.264 video file?

I need an answer to this question as I'm getting more than one inquiry (I run Blur Busters) and I want to help people be able to create 120fps videos.
Do I recommend continuing using Adobe, or do I refer them to a competitor's product if it's the only way to output 120fps????
Even plain free tools such as ffmpeg can do 120fps!
Some people are starting to think abot 120fps editing (e.g. http://www.hfrmovies.com/tag/120-fps/ ...) so this is an emerging area that Adobe also needs to pay attention to.
The 120fps distribution medium is already here today, and it's called "web browsers running on a 120Hz computer monitor".

The error message is clear and reads:

Diagnosis
For this purchasing document item, you wish to specify that a new price determination process is to be carried out at the time of goods receipt.
System Response
Pricing cannot be carried out for the item at the time of goods receipt because the price was either entered manually or copied from the last purchasing document.
The scenario is that we have a contract reference on a PO and the contract condition records are to be maintained as a new price is valid each day. The problem without this is that the new pricing will not be reflected in the GR.
What is the solution to overcome this issue?
NOTE: the Info Record conditions are not being read during GR as the PO references a contract.

For further clarification the PO is referencing a contract and as such not pulling the pricing information from the info record and instead pulling the price from the conditions on the contract.
I want to change the pricing date category from " No Control" to "5 GR Date" however I'm receiving the error message stated and unsure of how to make this change.
The intent is not to create a new PO each day the condition record is created and instead we are utilizing one PO referencing one contract with multiple date delimited condition records containing the daily pricing.

Be sure that all DLL calls are thread safe (do not perform calls in UI thread).
Also for real-time application you need real-time OS.

Is it possible for an End user to change the theme or Font of the application.
We have a requirement where End user should able to change color or font of application (like we do theme change in some social networking websites)

You could:
1. export your current theme
2. change the exported file using a good editor and change the path
#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_10/
to
#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_&THEME_NUMBER./
and do that also with all strings related to that theme number.
3. crete an application item THEME_NUMBER
4. create an application computation for THEME_NUMBER to set it to a value (10) in case the value is null
5. import the theme and make it the current theme
6. create a link in your application which will set the value of THEME_NUMBER to whatever - 1 to 20 for the standard themes - and submit the change
This will change the template as you specify.
This explanation is of course simplified. Depending on the design of your application it may require considering some other details that need to be adjusted.

The assumption is that all of your referenced classes in all css files have the same name for the same class with a leading theme number (which istn't the case in standart themes). However, this can at least give you an idea on how to proceed. I have done that with some custom themes I created and it works very well.

Embedding a countdown timer, that is linked to real time, into a video

Hey,
I'm trying to figure out how to do something I have never done and got no clue where to start.
What I am trying to accomplish is to make a 10-sec video that has a real time countdown clock to a certain part of the day (Ie: 5 hours and 10 secs left till 8 pm). Designing the clock is simple, what I cannot figure out is what program i should use and how to make it link to real time. Is this possible in after efects or do i need to use flash proffessional or something else. To give you a little bit more information, typicly I design ads that just run on a loop, this ad has to be different because it needs to run in a loop and somehow go and get the countdown according to real time and not just the videos length. (I've heard of somehow making a flash SWF file that either links to computer or RSS file, but I have no idea how to do that in aftereffects.) The media player running this 10-sec video ad is apparently compatible with Flash SWF.

Video is video. You have to use another app to overlay something else. HTML 5, javascript, Flash. Can't be done in AE.

Is it possible for the end user to make changes to business processes?

I'm investigating Oracle's BPEL Processor Manager and BPM technologies for a large project we are going to do. The client wants to be able to change/create new business processes which would mean different web services being called in different orders after different amounts of time.
Is it possible to allow end users to change business processes in a SOA environment with a portal using Oracle's offerings. This would eliminate JDeveloper & the designer and the need for knowledge of the underlying architecture.
The only way around this would be getting users to edit the business rules but that would only work in a linear environment with lots of decisions won't it?

I will leave your real question to be answered by product folks.
BPEL does have capabilities that let you change how a given process will execute. For example, it's normal to have a process that will react differently depending on an incoming message (CancelMessage processes one way, SubscribeMessage does something else, ...). You can have the partnerlink that is invoked be selected based on a variable, a rule, a message element, a property in a property file or a preference set in the BPEL console. However, these all fail to answer your original question, because they require the original designer to code it all, not giving someone the capability to add a new WSDL on the fly with JDeveloper.
You can also overlay endpoints, like if the user is in California, send to the west-coast server instead of the east coast. There is (was?) a tutorial about overlaying WSDLs.

According to your post, my understanding is that the read only user could not see the list view web part.
Per my knowledge, the issue may be cause that the user do not have the proper permission for the list.
1. Check whether the user can access the list.
2. Check whether the user can view all the items instead of partial items in the list.
3. Check whether there are some fields refer to other lists or terms, especially the lookup field or managed metadata filed.
If that is the case, make sure the user can access the lookup list.

On one mac, is it possible for just one user to download and use windows, or will it force all the users to use windows?

I want to download windows on the guest identity, so that I can play pc games (which only work on windows), but I dont want to have to use windows on my regular user identity. Does anyone know if it will only download for the one user?

Any 3rd party utilities that fix full screen mode for multi-monitor users?

I am a multi-monitor user. As multi-monitor users know, full screen mode is basically useless since if you try to go full screen on one monitor, it causes the other monitor to go blank and become unusable (at least with most programs). Are there any 3rd party utitilities or fixes for this?

Spaces, which is what this functionality stems from, was limited in that it used your entire setup and switched all of the screens over; space to space. I never used spaces because I always had multiple monitors and I was always working with multiple apps simultaneously that I wanted to be able to reference while working on the others.
Now they call Spaces, "mission control" and changed the appearance of it, but the functionality remained the same, each workstation comprised all of your monitors, and would switch over all of them when switching to a new "Desktop".
Fullscreen apps wrongly assumes that it can take the functionality of the afformentioned MS/Spaces and use it for one app, negating the whole idea of why someone would have multiple screens (real estate to work with other applications).
If they stop considering multiple monitors as one Workspace, they can then make it so they are asynchronous "tablets" instead of one conjoined entity.
So, you say people have been asking about this for 2 years, I've been asking for this for 5!
The issue here is, the only answer is to not use it. Making Mission Control and Fullscreen apps completely ignored by people like us, where I could be using both functions to glide around my work station and three monitors, mixing and matching which apps I want to be viewed on each separate monitor, to perform one single task; together.
It would actually reward people who wanted to utilize Thunderbolt technology and have more then one monitor.
There is no telling why apple chose to push out something that would only support the casual user, with one display, but the only direct way to let apple know that we feel limited by the OS is to send feedback. Even though it seems that we are powerless in this situation, I hope that they do consider how to make this function better.

Is s-video output possible for nano 5g?

Can the ipod nano 5g (video camera) output video via s-video? On this page:

the 4G nano is said to be able to output s-video, but I don't see the 5G. Can I use a product like the Apple ipod AV connection kit (MA242LL/A) to get it to output video over s-video cable? Will that charge my ipod? Will the remote work?

Real-Time Post-Production Video Editing

Would like to know if any software exists to allow post production editing and effects on full video fields e.g. outlining/dropping background of one field and superimposing it on another? This is aside from using production blue keys or post-production one frame at a time edit.

Why do web videos only play for a few seconds?

Why do you tube videos play a few seconds and stop and start?

if your internet connection is not fast enough then it have to buffer more of the video once in awhile in order to play it
same deal if googles youtube servers are under heavy load

Execute Web Template without personalization for the current User

Hi,
I executed a BI Web Template, on SAP Enterprise Portal, which has been provided as a Portal content on the detailed navigation section.
Then, I navigate within the template, and I saved a personalized query view (the status of navigation of the report - applied filters, selected characteristics and key figures), through the button "Save Personalization" (standard command "SAVE_PERSONALIZATION")
Now, each time the same User executes the same BI query from the detailed navigation,
he get, as result, the personalized views.
How to reset the Portal Content to the original query which has been built on Query Designer? (meanings, as it was before pressing the "Save Personalization" button)
Moreover, is there a standard command for WT buttons like "Back to Start" (which not apply on this), to reset the original state of the query.
