Really annoying thing Itunes is doing
Just installed Windows 7 a few days ago, and everything before worked fine...now, I can't seem to get Itunes to stay running in the background. Every couple seconds it pulls itself up as the active program with no prompting, interrupting anything I was doing. Needless to say, this is extremely annoying, especially since I usually listen to music while working on art or design-related projects which Itunes is making impossible. Anyone know of a setting I may have missed to fix this?
It's not the margins, and I already have "Keep lines together." unchecked. I have the layout showing. It lets me type at the bottom there, but it sometimes, for no explainable reason, moves the text that I type down there to the next page. The weird thing is that when I type a lot on the next page (about 4 lines), it moves it back to fill the space.

It’s only fair that if Apple is going to integrate Mail into Mac PCs, it would be nice if the system does it for you like Office or perhaps Outlook. I just don’t to use Outlook although I have it installed and ready to use, but instead use Mail which comes with Mac OS already.

Is there a way to change 2 really annoying things about the iTouch?
I have a 16gb Ipod Touch and was wondering if there was a way to disable these 2 really annoying features.
1. When your listening to music and turn it sideways it goes to album view and you have to look at your ipod to go to the next song since it gets rid of the Next / pause / back buttons.(( i listen to the ipod in bed so i usually just hit next song and be done with it.
2. The auto correct when your typing because im pretty good at typing on the itouch. Example... i type a word and the itouch suggests a word that is somewhat similar and if you dont click the x next to the suggestion it will put that word in automaticly(( if your a fast touch typer like me it puts the word in if you hit space and its REALLY annoying.

2. What I have read here is that the more you click the x to dismiss wrong autofills, the more the Touch will learn about your particular typing habits. Try touching that x more often, and see if your Touch gets trained. I am not speaking from my own experience here, as I don't type on my Touch very much yet.

REALLY annoying thing in Pages!
Is there a way to remedy this? Whenever I'm typing, and I get to the bottom of the page, it puts the last 1-3 lines on the next page rather than just using the remaining space on the current page. I get a 2-page essay with the amount of text for 1 page on it, the first page is not completely filled, and the second page is just one line! So annoying.

BIGGEST iTunes bug!! Really annoying!!
Okay, so I got this really annoying problem. Actually two. First is that I am using iTunes 9.2. So the first problem is this. I would import a song, with these ID3 tags for example:
Title: Till I Collapse
Artist: Eminem
Album Artist: Eminem
Album: The Eminem Show
Genre: Hip-Hop
Track: 18
So then I modify a few things like these:
Title: 'Till I Collapse
Genre: Rap
Add an album cover.
I click on OK and just how it is supposed to work, the track info changes, and the album cover appears. I close iTunes, open that file. Right Click, choose properties, and look at the tags. THE TAGS DID NOT CHANGE. The genre is still Hip-Hop, the Title does not have an apostrophe before the Till I Collapse. Worst of all, the album cover does not show when I do tile view. I delete the file from iTunes library and import it again. It shows the old unchanged tags. Biggest problem.
Then a second problem hits. It somehow started showing that I got files missing. I click on locate other files from the library and it said that I am missing 119 files. The folder are still there, the files still there. To make it worse, the new songs that I have added using iTunes 9.2 that were missing have been reset back to the original tags. Now I gotta change them and gotta online and find the album covers again. Pathetic.
Edit: What is interesting is that all the missing songs that are shown now are the ones that I added using iTunes 9.2.
Message was edited by: xrusxiTunes not actioning your changes is usually a sign that you don't have write permissions for the files in question. iTunes appears to accept your changes and may even update the display to show them, but is unable to write the changes out to the tag. It will not report this as an error. When you go back to the file the original tag will have remained unchanged and iTunes will reveal the old data.
Not sure about the second one, but let's guess that it's an extension of the first one. If your change would have resulted in a new filename, e.g. you change the artist, album, track name or number, then iTunes may have updated the database to point to the new location, but then failed to actually rename the file, again without generating an error.

The basic way malware works is that it runs a program on the device. However, the iOS does not allow any program to be downloaded or installed onto the device, unless they are from the App Store. And Apple thoroughly checks all apps submitted by app-developers before allowing them onto the App Store.
In essence, imagine that there is a fortress that has absolutely only one entrance; a guarded front gate. And the guards will only let in people that have proper identification. Without that identification, they will not open the gate.
The fortress is the iOS device. The guards are the operating system. The identification is the App Store.
You didn't come from the App Store? Then you can't come in. It's as simple as that. -
I have opened my account on my credit card and there has been 3 payments go from my account. 17.49 and then day before 5.49 and 4 days before 4.99. Really annoyed that apple can let this happen and letting app makers con people by doing this.

I have just done a custom run on my Ipod touch 2nd Gen of 12k. When I finished the run is appearing in my run history on my iPod touch, however it is not appearing in my itunes 'Nike+' tab, or on the Nike + website. I can't seem to get this run to sync and it is really annoying because I'll be loosing 12k. Can anyone help or has experienced this before? I know there are solutions to add runs to iPod nano's and older iPods using the 'Enable disk' and iPod_control function however from what I'm aware you cannot do this on an iPod touch. Can anyone please help?

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -
I bought an apple iPod 5th generation the other day and I cannot remember the unlock passcode. I have done the restore thing, but because I never set it up or synced it with iTunes, it does not recognize my device. It is disabled for one hour. There's only a few things that could be my passcode, but because it disables for an hour, it is time consuming trying to figure it out. What do I do? I do not care about having to erase everything since it's new and there's nothing on it, but it was never synced with iTunes.
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Monkemackan, welcome to the forum.
The normal reason for games lagging is one of three components:
1) CPU
2) Memory
3) Video device
In your case, the memory should be fine. It is no doubt either the CPU or video device. My suspicion is that it is the video card. I suggest looking at the Windows Experience Index in the Control Panel / Performance information and tools. I suspect that the video card will have the lowest rating.
Have you tried running the game on lower settings; low-medium or lower? This may help the lagging.

This procedure will check for files in your home folder that are locked or have a wrong owner. It makes no changes and will not, in itself, solve your problem.

Start with your finger at the bottom of the screen (about even with the home button) and swipe in an upward motion. There should be a row of icons at the top of a grey field. if the quarter-moon icon is bright white, tap it. If it was (and still is) dark, take the iPhone in to be evaluated by a qualified technician.
