IPod Touch Goes from 100% Charge to 20% within minutes
My iPod Touch is a little over two years old. It is now going from 100% battery charge to 20% within minutes of usage. However, when I plug it in to charge, the battery shows that it almost fully charged. Yet when I unplug it, it will immediately say the battery is at 20% again. Is the battery at it's end, or is this a different kind of issue causing the problem?
First try to reset your iPod and if that does not work, try restoring it to a backup and finally to factory settings. If that does not solve the problem, your battery is probably a goner. Two years is short, but not unusual; my battery failed after a little less than two years. Apple will replace your iPod with a refurbished one for $79 (USA) or you could do a Google search on "replace iPod battery" for a local or on line repair place that will replace the battery for less. You can even find a replacement battery (same search) and install it yourself if you're up to it.

My iPhone overheats. Battery drops from 100/90% to 10% sudenly. Got the device 20 days ago. I'm currently living in The Hague, there is no Apple Store in this city, took an appointment in Amsterdam, after 3 hours drive and 60€ travel cost got into the Apple Store, 73 minutes delay on my appointment the Genius tech tells me I should leave my device for further checks in the store and come back in a week or two. Not presicely the answer I was looking for, plus he did not have any device to lend me until my iPhone was checked. Quite dissapointed, Apple was standard for quality on customer satisfaction, in the last 10 years I bought 3 MacBooks, 5 iPdas, 7 iPods, 5 iPhones and 2 iMACs... please don't let me down. Hi All,
I am getting increasingly frustrated at the battery grossly overheating ( as in cannot hold it on legs as gets too hot) also that I have to keep it on constant charge a other wise it discharges from 100% to zero in well under and hour. Is this a battery or design fault of this particular model. Its not even a year old but I also know whilst they brought it out in March 2012 they discontinued in October 2012...
Can anyone assist as Apple lcearly want nothing to do with a now defunct model and I am thinking that perhaps with the backing of the Trading Standards Authority and the Office of Fair Trading, Apple might just want to sit up and listen as up until now they have not. They simply suggest that I should trade up!!!Not normal. Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

is there a fix for battery drain on ipad 2 IOS 5.0.1? drain from 100% to 70% in less than 20min had it on playing music with display off
About all that can be suggested is to use the feedback form and talk to Apple. They have communicated with some users, trying to get more info to find out just what the battery drain is so they can fix it. Unfortunately with the myriad of operating systems, apps and individual tweaks, there could be several combinations of settings that are draining the battery.
My personal suspicion is that it has something to do with iCloud and the wifi syncing. (My ipad, before I changed the setting, was reaching out to find a sync on a regular basis. And it may still be doing so, however I set my iTunes to not automatically open to keep my device from trying to sync several times in an evening...not to mention the constant aggravation of iTunes opening regularly)
That said, I could be wrong and it could be an app that users have in common, or several apps. -
I am using a white 13inch 2009/10 macbook, purchased in the US. Am currently using it in the Philippines, where it is 220v. I know my adapter says it works from 100-240v, but is it okay to use longterm? I think my mac gets very hot now? thanks

Installed Java update three days ago. Now, can't play yahoo games as it's now blocked by security settings. Already have tried moving Java security to Medium and adding yahoo.games.com (including web address of game) as a "Permissive exception". Also tried removing java and installing older version. Still nothing. Really Apple?!? What's your beef with yahoo games?

all of the older update versions of Java SE 7 can be found here. If 7u45 also didn’t work with your Yahoo! games, you can choose from any of the even older versions there as well. -

I am extremly worried bcz i got my ipodtouch for my graduation gift from my parents, and this was a hard work for my parents to get it for me. Plus, my ipod has all my studies, and will need it in the future for sure!
Screen is completely broken? That sounds like you dropped it or something similar. If that is what happened, Apple is not responsible.

Hi guys i need some help.
About 15min ago i was reading an article on a website when the screen 'blinked' it turned off going completly black then turned on again. Then i noticed that it said i had 0% battery but i have my MacBook Pro is plugged in right now, the battery was fully charged and its plugged in?
So.2 problems
1. Battery went from 100% charged to 0% in a matter of seconds WHILE PLUGGED IN.
2. Battery is not charging at all now, just stays at 0%
Is this a common thing? like has this happened to lots of people before and is a known issue?
What info do i need to post up so you guys can more effectively help me? also might need to show me how to get this info.How old is your Mac?
Open System Info and look at the battery section. If it says Service Battery then take the system to Apple and have it serviced. -
I have problem with my Iphone 4S, only after updating the OS 7.X. My Iphone battery charge is losing down in a minute. My battery charge is just decreasing from 100% to 10% in less than two hours, without any application works. pls do help me out in this.

I just upgraded my iPad to iOS7 and got battery drain problem. I followed the tips online to turn off all the unneccessary features and seems not working. Because this morning, the battery drops from 100% to 77% in 2.5 hours and I didn't even work on it yet. The smart cover is already closed.
If you followed these steps : http://www.apple.com/ie/batteries/iphone.html , you can attempt to restore your device (back up your information first ,if you don't have a backup) and see if that changes anything. If issue persists , you can contact Applecare and explain the steps you followed . Don't forget to mention that this started happening after you updated to iOS 7 .

Am I the only one experiencing battery drain with the 6.1.3 upgrade? It went from 100% to 63% in 7 hours WITH NO USE! I've had worse luck with the i5 than the i4. This is the first time I regret being in a two year contract. I might add that this is my 3rd i5
So now 12 days later and another replacement I'm still having issues and apple still isn't helping. My phone has started shutting off unexpectedly again today. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here?
