Reason For Deletion Flag

Dear PM Experts,
I want to Set the Deltion Flag for the Equipment, Notification and Mainteance Order. I know the way for Setting Deletion Flag.
I want to save the reason for setting 'Deletion Flag' where should i mention the reason. Is there any user exit for Checking the same.

Dear Murugesh,
I am not sure whether this can be done in standard SAP.But you can create new fields on notification and maintenance orders using user exits. i.e you can create a field reason for setting deletion flag.
Notifications -- QQMA0001
Maintenance Order -- IWO10018.
You can use these user exits. Hope this helps.

A simple question for you gurus out there. What is the reason for having a process in the process chains to "Delete Overlapping Requests". I am not sure what it really does. Can someone please explain in simple terms the functionality of Delete Overlapping Requests and it's need. Please use an example if possible.

Generally we do this Delete Overlapping Requests for cubes because you have a requirement to do daily full loads(assume incremental data) to Cube from the same DS if you don't delete the previous load .. In cube values gets double which is wrong data.. to avoid duplicates we use this Delete Overlapping Requests in PC .. if you don''t use this process in PC .. everyday manual action will be required to delete previous (yesterdays)request in cube.
Ex.
Req1 15000 records to cube -day1
Req2 15600 records to cube -day2
Req3 15600 records to cube -day3
in cube you will have 46000 records and keyfigures values gets tripple
if you use "Delete Overlapping Request" in PC
always deletes the previous request from the same DS

I want step by step explanation of how to delete vendors which are marked for deletion.I have check the forum & got only transaction code SARA & Archiving object FI_ACCPAYB.I dont know hau to proceed further please give some explanation to proceed further

Archiving is done from transaction SARA.
Enter the object, then hit enter.
to get the object specific steps, these are process from top to down.
You have to do the customizing first, which can be done from SARA transaction as well.

"Marked for Delete" flag in Hyperion Planning

Does anybody know how can I set "Marked for Delete" value by ODI? I have reversed planning model by RKM, but it hasn't field "Marked for Delete".

RSHi, the Marked for Delete is nothing to do with deleting shared member.
You can can delete members by using the Operation column and it set to Delete, you will have to provide the member to delete and the storage type of Stored.

Reason for deleted PO line item

Hi Gurus, I have several PO line items appear deleted and thrown back to Open Purchase Req list. Buyers did not deleted those PO items. They were fully received and backflushed. What might be the reason that they should reappear in PR list?

As Jurgen suggests go to ME23N=>Environment=>Header changes or (select the line item) Item Changes and you can find the history of changes.

Deletion flags for equipment BOM

Hi,
In equipment BOM header , there are 2 fields for deletion flag :
-one is set manually (the one on the right)
-the other set by the system (the one on the left).
Can someone explain to me how deletion flag indicator (on the left) work?

Hi,
To explain this i must say first there is a difference in the Deletion Flag (Right in Header) and Deletion Indicator(Left in Header).
In SAP term The deletion Indicator shows the item which has already been Deleted from the System and Deletion flag shows that the record has been flagged for deletion and will hence be Archieve (when, depends on the Archieving strategy followed in the company).
To explain the affect these will have is the Deletion Indicator will not allow you to use the and will show the error as the object has been deleted and is not in the system.
Deletion flag for BOMs
Indicator: this BOM will be archived during the next archiving run and, if necessary, deleted from the data base.
Where as the Deletion Flag will show that the object is ready to be archieved and is set to be deleted.
Deletion Indicator
Indicator showing that the BOM header or the BOM item has been deleted with reference to the change number.
Now there is another difference in the way we can amke the objects active from deletion flag anf the deletion indicator.
For Deletion flag you have to go to change mode and just remove or untick the deletion flag.
For Deletion indicator you have to go to Archieve table and pull the object back in to SAP system and it will then show only the deletion flag, which can be removed by the way explained above.

Deletion flag for customer

Hi all,
I set a Deletion flag for a customer in xdo6, when i am trying make the sale order system is giving only warnning message and allowing me to make the sale order. But i need a error message and should not allow me to make the sale order , support me to come out this issue.

Use VD05 to block the customer for Order, Delivery or billing
Use XD06 for deletion flag.
If your requirement is that orders should not be created for that customer, VD05 will resolve it.
in VD05, put customer number and select Sales area by customer.Here select "Overall Block" for order, delivery and billing.

The T-code VD06 is used for deletion flag for customer. That means u cannot delete the customer master data. But u can keep deletion flag for that customer for all sales areas or particular sales area.
Even thought u can use this customer for sales order but the system will give information message that Customer has deletion flag
There is another code VD05 there u can block particular customer for all sales areas or particular sales area.
Then u cannot use the customer master data for furthur processing.

Change pointer for functional location- deletion flag & activation status

Hello,
Im trying to use change pointer for functional location outbound interface. I did all required settings in BD52. The problem is with deletion flag and acive/deactive status.
I found that those two are stored in:
table     field
TAPL     LOEKZ
TAPL     PARKZ
The problem I have is that I cannot find the object for those table, and due to that it cannot be customized in BD52.
Could You please advise which object class should I use or alternatively which other table/field and object should I type in to activate change poiters for deletion flag and active/ not active status?
For object IFLO, and its table (IFLOT, IFLOTX, ILOA)- there is no field for del flag and active status.

Hi, standard didnt let us fulfilling this requirement. What we did- we extended table IFLOT with additional field for the status and used an user exit when saving FL, to take the value (status) from table JEST/TJ02T and copy the value to the newly created field. Then BD52, iflo, iflot, and the new field and it worked. Of course the function module for the message type (BD60) had to be changed to add this status value in additional segment/field for the idoc. Hope this will help You, as there is a lot of technical background behind it, and this is only functional overview.

Follow up action to set delete flag after UD (QS41, QS51)

Hi all,
If user give UD as 'not good' for Equipment (eg Vernier Caliper) then he has to set delete flag for maintenance plan no and Equipment no through IP02 and IE02 respectively
now he want that, above delete flag should set automatically after giving UD so particular maintenance plan or equipment should not release in future.
I got one follow up action 'QM_PM' in transaction QS51 due to this after giving UD for Inspection lot, plan get technically complete (TECHO)
so how to make changes so i'll achieve above functionality

i got one solution on which i am working
Steps:
1.The solution is to use the User Exit namely QEVA0010 and use the logic as mentioned below.
2. Test and use the above mentioned user exit.
3. The first condition should be checked for Inspection Type - 14 and for UD code NG.
4.Logic to be used To set the deletion flag for the Equipment.
   Go to Table QAPP - Pass inspection lot Number and get the Equipment no.
   Go to Table EQUI - Pass Equipment no and get OBJNR
Go to Table JEST - Pass the Objnr - The value for deletion flag status is active is I0076 and the value for deletion flag inactive is I0320.
   In order to set the deletion Flag,use help of FM - STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN to code.
5.Logic to be used To set the deletion flag for the Maintenance Plan.
Go to Table QALS - Pass inspection lot no and get the order no.
Go to Table AFIH - Pass order no - Get maintenance Plan.
Go to Table MPLA - Pass the maintenance plan and get the Objnr no.
JEST - Pass the Objnr - The value for deletion flag status is active is I0076 and the value for deletion flag inactive is I0320.
In order to set the deletion Flag,use help of FM - STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN to code.

How to close Purchase Order and mark to deletion flag.??

                   1. PO-GR-IR
and              2. STO-Outboundelivery-PGI-IBD-PGR
Checked few threads, though useful but still more information required.
-> Preprocessing program for archiving standard object MM_EKKO 'RM06EV47' is helpful.
-> Example we have four POs p1,p2,p3 and p4.
P1,p2 has deletion flag as 'L' so will be filtered out with

Deletion flag

In the purchase order system is allowing for assigning a deletion flag for line item even having subsequent transactions like GR and IV.
I don't want to allow for deletion flag for above said scenario.
plz suggest.

there is certainly no standard customizing for this.
I understand that you are not archiving right now, but maybe in 5 years. Consider this. When developing the userexit, condition the program, so that manual maintenance will be restricted but setting of deletion indicator thru RM06EV47 not.

Filtering records with deletion flag in Query report

Dear Friends,
We are using ECC6.00 (EHP4) for one of our QM requirement, i have created a query in SQ01 with the tables QMEL,AUFK,AFKO,QMFE etc., to get the details of production order and notification.
The report will list out the production scheduler wise, order wise, defect wise quantity with the notification number also in the display.
For notifications which are created wrongly, the users set deletion flag. The same i.e., notifications with deletion flag should not appear in the report and hence i have called the field and filtered the value in the output (i.e., field value not equal to X where X is for deletion flag set records).
Everything works fine upto this, but when users (to carry out analysis) send the data to the spread sheet, the filter values are removed and all records are populated in the excel sheet (even records with deletion flag).
To select and display only records without deletion flag, i want to introduce coding in the query. Kindly tell me whether this is possible, if so where and what code should be written to meet my requirement.
The records with the deletion flag (notifications) should be eliminated from the selection and display.
Experts help required.

Thank you for your reply. The code syntax had been corrected based on your information. Unfortunately the code doesn't filter the records. On further investigation , it was observed that the field KZLOESCH doesn't get updated and hence a field had been created in the infoset wherein the following coding is written
clear : w_dlfl.
data : w_inact type char1.
select single inact into w_inact from jest
where objnr = qmel-objnr
and stat = 'I0076'
and inact ne 'X'.
if sy-subrc = 0 .
w_dlfl = 'X'.
else.
w_dlfl = ''.
endif.
The field name is W_dlfl.
In the above condition how and where should i include the code given by you. Since the field KZLOESCH is not updated how should we get the data from the field w_dlfl be exempted from selection?

Materials Deletion Flag

we did a material deletion flag by T code mm06 in plant level and material level too now
i want to take all the materials which are marked for Deletion flag through T code mm06.
reqd help to resolve above problem..

Hi Srinivas,
Please use table browser "SE16" transaction.
You can extract details from MARA table if you have deleted the material at client level, if it only Plant level then you should take the details from MARC table.
You can also create a Query using transaction SQVI to extract details from the table.

How to delete or activate the deletion flag for the sales order line item

Hi All,
I have one Cust order & with referance to that cust order one production order is created . The production order user has done the Goods issue with 261 movement type & GR wi 101 before 4 months back , & he has reverse the GR with 102 on todays date . but in materila master the variable prize is maintain thats why it is showing a differance in the cost .
User want to delete the Production order as well as the custemer order From MDO4 , So we have make the Production order TECO & save , it is gone form the MD04 but the Custumer order still there . It is not allow us to cancell or reject . We have tried to maintain the reason for rejection but it showing the message that you can not activate the deletion flag for the order .
Could you please Help me to find out the way how can i delete the custemer order ?
