goto se16 and look at table EDIDS....in that look at field status text...you will see different reasons when something goes wrong in idoc generation...
there should be a lot of practical scenario examples for you inside it...

For a million reasons, but the most obvious one is that data in the IDoc doesn't match with the data in the receiving system. Eg. in IDoc field plant filled with 'PL01' but this plant doesn't exist in the system.

There might be 2 reaons for the error.
1) corrupted files in EPS/in or improper CAR of the files.
2) the file permissions in EPS/in check whether the files are having proper permssions like 775 with owner <SID>adm

I had copied Src files from BIApps to informatica Src file
While running DAC11g full load, we are en counting some issues below is the error we are facing
ERROR CODE - Unknown reason for error code 36331
one more thing to consider, In DAC10g we give /Oracle/OBIAPPS/Informatica/9.1.0/server/infa_shared/SrcFiles as Informatica parameter path in DAC system properties but in DAC11g if i take same path no task is running, it is failing at first task only and no parameter file is generating.
But if i give dafault in that Informatica parameter path of DAC11g some tasks are running success and i am able to see some parameters generated in DAC PATH, but Default is taking
/Oracle/OBIAPPS/DAC/orahome/11g/dac/Informatica/parameters path for that location.
Informatica Server details are Success, Physical Data sorce are success.
I had copied SrcFiles and LkpFiles to informatica from BIApps.
ParameterDW and parameterOLTP are moved to /Oracle/OBIAPPS/DAC/orahome/11g/dac/Informatica/parameters as well as Informatica Src folder
for one task below is the error

Possible reasons for error 1074396005 invalid avi session

Dear All,
I am working on creating and writing frames on to AVI files. I need to start writing frames up on record on command and close the AVI file up on record stop command. I am trying to read frames from an recorded video and write in to another AVI file.
But i am observing Error 1074396005 invalid avi session, whenever i run the code. I am using AVI2 VI's (IMAQ AVI2 Create, AVI2 Write and AVI2 close).
I am using LabVIEW 2013 SP1 and Vision development module versions.
Below is the block diagram for reading an avi file and writing in to avi file upon record on command (numeric control value 1 to case selector)

Might be good if you can post the code instead of screenshots.
-If session was closed or aborted due to some reason you should get this error.
-Multiple times you are creating the session inside the loop with same avi session, is it required?
-Are the images added to the avi file?

Error in IDOC(ALEAUD) to file Scenario

Hi ..
we have a client requirment were they want the ALEAUD acknowledgement in the form of file.
So we are creating a IDOC to file scenario, where IDOC is ALEAUD which is mapped to create a file in the traget system. but when we post the IDoc we get thwe following error.
*Note: have a small doubt. Can we use ALEAUD Idoc as a normal IDoc to File Scenario. because with the documents i understand that ALEAUD is a acknowledgment IDoc which is generated based on the request IDOC. but in our scenario we are manually using the structure of ALEAUD in the source system*

Hello,
If you need to send the ALEADUIT back to the SAP system if the file returns a successful ack, then you will need to have a BPM with a separate SEND step to send back the ALEAUDIT.

Possible reasons for Error 30005?

Hi All,
we're on ep7, sp12..we've been encountering the foll error lately when we try to use any BI query frm one particular BW system..(holds true for all users)
when we try to drag the query to the iView, we get the Error -30005, Cannot create the BI data service, Cannot add BI data service to the iView.
the strange things is we can search for queries. however, upon attempting to see the characteristics, etc we get the foll error: "Error -30027 Cannot retrieve structure, Cannot read query description.."
Could anybody pls advise on the possible reasons/resolutions for this?

I'm from Germany, so sorry for my English first.
I got the error "Unknown field type (28) encountered." when I run
a simple "SELECT * FROM system.functions" on my ADD-Database.
The solution for this problem is found in the KBA 2145730.
If I use the ADS DLLs v. 11.10.0.22 I got the error, but if I use the
ADS DLLs v. 9.10.0.35 everything is fine.
For solving other problems I think it would be better to use the newest
version, but in this case I can't. At this time it is not a problem, because
I can't find any real reason so that I must update for now, but nevertheless
I'd like to know, why this error occurs. What is type 28? Or (what real
would be great) can I make changes to my software, so that I can
avoid this problem? I hope you can help me with this "riddle" and wish
all of you a great day.

For backwards compatibility the server will send different field types (i.e. char vs varchar, ansi vs unicode, etc).
The server determines this based on the ACE (Advantage Client Version). By swapping in new DLLs you are telling the server that you are running a newer client and it can send the newer field types etc for the system tables.
In addition to swapping the DLLs re-build the application with the new TDataSet (re-compile) and this should resolve your issue.
For the field types look at ACE.pas (or ACE.h) in the TDataSet (on the latest). It looks like 28 is an NMEMO (Unicode Memo field)

Reason for Error in Manual Update of Data Package

Sometimes while loading huge amount of data, one of the data package doesnt get uploaded. For those data packages we do a manual update of the data package and it works well.
My question is why do we get this error,
Is it to do with the system contention or any IDOC issue?
Please help me out to find the root cause of this, so that we can avoid the manual update of the data packges.

We usually get this issue , when we are doing a lot of processing in the Update Rules. The Data package processing gets timed out.
If it is happening very often then you would need to sit with your Basis person and modify the Timeout settings for your system.

Cause: Extraneous key passed in to findByKey(). For example, suppose the View Object may expect no more than a two-part key, but the key passed into findByKey is a three-part key. Then, this exception will thrown.

What are possible reason for error : FRM-40657

Hi,
There is 3 blocks in my form, Master Block, It's Deails and It's Details also.
The Query Data Source for all the block is Procedure, because for each block the data is coming from one more table other than the DML table.
But I am getting the error FRM:40657 while editing the data, the flow of the system is, if the data in the block satisfy certain condition, then that row should be saved to DML table. For eg, there is one column Status if the value of the status column is Valid then that row should be saved to DML table, all the data coming from the non DML table is InValid, and the data from DML table is Valid,
but after loading, when I change InValid to Valid, because some rows the user want to change to Valid then obviously it should be saved to DML table , but I am getting this error, What could be the pblm...

Thank U. No other user has updated the data. As I said, the problem occuring datas are coming from Table A, and let the user to modify the data, after the modification, copy of some records (based on the data after modification ) want to be saved to DML table, say Table B. But this error is getting while try to save the modifications. But no problem to save the DML table (Table B) data.

If it's showing the connect to iTunes screen then it sounds like it's gone into recovery mode and will need to be connected to a computer's iTunes in order to be reset. Does neither she nor you have a computer, and if she hasn't has she been backing up to the cloud instead ?
Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether content is still in the store, she might be able to re-download some/all of her downloads via the Purchased tabs in the App Store and iTunes store apps

IDOC for delivery : Update reason for deviation in VL02N

Hi,
i have a requirement where I need to update the reason for deviation(Field VSTGA) in VL02N transaction.
An inbound IDOC type STPPOD has a field named reason for deviation that comes from TSEGWS01 table.
I am supposed to show this field in VL02N transaction.
For this I updated the table TSEGWS01 with the value of the VSTGA field which the IDOC holds.
But still its not getting updated in VL02N.
So please let me know if there is some FM that needs to be used for the same.

I think my requirement is not clear for you.
SAVE_TEXT function module is used to update the text in the header of VL02N transaction.
My requirement is to update the Reason for deviation in the delivery.
Navigation is as folloews:-
VL02N --> Goto --> Header --> Dates --> Click on any events and this will give a popup window in which the reason for deviation field is present. So whatever value for the Reason for deviation the IDOC holds need to be shown here. But I am failing to do so inspite of my attempt to update the table TSEGWS01 with this field VSTGA.

Usually Application Level Acknowledgement is considered during Sync communication. If you are using RFC, you can make use of Sync communication. So you can handle it without bpm, provided your both sender and receiver are sync interfaces.

you can not dirrectly access the content of the ACK, however the BPM shows different behaviours based on the ACK status. E.g. if the ACK contains a success message the BPM will continue in its normal process, if the ACK contains a permanent error, it will either stop or go through an exception branch (provided such a branch has been defined).
