Reason profile field disabled

Hi,
Whenever I create a lead transaction,irrespective of the status I see the reason field in disable mode?
What is the reason for this?

Hi Jayalakshmi ,
As you have copied the standard status profile - CRMLEAD ( CRM Lead ) and for the status "Lost" , the reason field is maintained as per the SPRO setting , path as below:
Customer Relationship Management ->Transactions->Setting for lead->Reason for status ->Assign status and subject profile to Transaction type
As the setting is maintained only for "lost" status hence the "Reason " field is enabled .
Rest all the status does not have an entry in SPRO setting hence the field appear as non editable .
Hence kindly make the changes as per your requirement .

The reason behind this is , user should not change this Profile and maintain an incorrect timesheet entries.

Got SHD0 transaction and create screen variant for that transaction there you can disable that field.
Create Transaction variant for that transaction and assign previously created screen variant to this transaction varient. actiavte.

Make project profile field non mandatory in CJ20n Transaction

Hi All,
I want to make project profile field non mandatory in my CJ20n transaction. I tried through OPUA, OPUK, OPUC but of no use. The field over there is just an input field. I need to make it non mandatory either through configuration or through code. Please suggest.

this is a required field, as far as the standard SAP code goes: everytime this field is touched the following function is executed in programme FV45EF0V_VBEP-EDATU_EINGEBEN:

The only way to avoid this is create an implicit enhancement at the beginning of this form, copy the exisitng code in there, delete the message after WHEN 1. and put RETURN at the end of the enhancement. But this would be HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED, because I am positive you cause a lot of misery later on in the process: this field is mandatory for a reason!

SPM 5.2 - problem with reason/activity fields - not showing in the report

Dear experts,
I have a situation that is hard to describe.
We have SPM 5.2 - all set and working, now the problem is that for some of the FF sessions the tool is either not reporting the reason/activity fields (due to some technical problem that is occuring randomly) or the users have found a way to abuse the fields and make thier way around them. (these fields are very important for our SOX controls)
I have created test users to see how they are entering without filling the reason/activity fields, but no luck - i couldnt enter.
As you know the Activity field is mandatory text field and at least one character must be entered, but I don`t think this is the workaround, because even if you put space the report still will show it. I have examples where the report is not showing anything.
The worst is that I can`t simulate such cases.
Have you ever heard of such nosense?

I think I found it - Application deficiency. It is the language that you are logged with. If it is not English the application is not recording the text that you type in the reason/activity fields upon FF session.
I hope the latest patches are fixing this!

Hi,
there is no user exit available for this report program, one alternative is copy the program associated with this standard program i.e. RVV50R10C to a Z program and modify it as per your requirement or if you want to modify the standard program you need access key.

Setting Profile Value as default in Task List Initial Screen Profile Field

I have created a profile for enabling Network Graphic view for operation relationship in PM task list. Whenever i want to create task list i have to enter profile in initial screen to activate Network Graphic view. Can this profile be set as default, i mean whenever i create task list, profile field be filled automatically with predefined value instead of entering profile every time ?

Yes, you can default this Profile name by use of PIDs
Not at a system right now - can anyone help with the PID name??

I want to know in Bapi, In Import parameters of output display screen as we are entering values i want to make some fields disable mode (as in report program, in output screen, suppose 2 entry fields are der so i need only one and another one in disable mode)how to do in BAPI? please explain with example by taking 2 or 3 predefined tables? and in Bapi how to do ranges programs.. please explain with example? is it posiible in bapi to display the output in ALV_GRID method?

Hi Rachu Patil,
I think there is no posibility to disable fields in import parameter of bapi but you can select optional check box to make the field as an optional field in import parameter. Like wise you cant set range. If you want to set range than declare two variable for low and high.

IOS 5.0.1 Can't Show OS X Lion Address Book Profile Fields?

In OS X Lion, Apple introduced Profile fields into the Address Book:
Social network profiles
Address Book lets you quickly access the social network profiles of your contacts, including Facebook. Press and hold an email address to select the appropriate profile.
So, I filled this all in on my Mac. But then I synced my iPhone (running iOS 5.0.1) with my iMac, and discovered that the Contacts app on the iPhone doesn't show these fields. Is this true, or have I done something wrong?

I'm going to try that next.
What I just tried was creating a New Card in Address Book on my Mac and filling in these fields:
• First Name
• Last Name
• Twitter
• Facebook
• Flickr
I then synced my iPhone with my Mac, via iTunes.
The new card showed up in Contacts on my iPhone, but only the First Name and Last Name are visible. The three Profile fields I filled in are not there! Clearly this is a bug.

Use SHD0 create Transaction variant for ZCC01 and CC31amd make field RC29A-AEPRO as required field.
Or use the exit PCCD0004 ECH: Check before saving the change number.

I am using CRM 5.0. I just forgot that Categorization profile can be used for the same.
I have configured the categorization profile for the same and its working fine.
One more thing -
I want to create an Appointment with Customer for problem resolution at the Customer Site. I want to assign Resorces to the Appointment so that the responsible resource is notified and sent to the Customer Site for Visit.
Can you pls guide me on the same?

Input Field disabled in Web Dynpro Application

Hi,
I created an application with three input fields and created the corresponding context. When I start the wd app the input fields are disabled and can not be edited. The property enabled if this fields is true!
I compared the context with other wd app in my nwds and the only thing I recognize is that in other apps, at every attribute is a litte triangle. This attribute also have one property more - it is called "Input Element".
So my questions are:
1. What might be the reason why I can not edit the fields?
2. How can I configure my attributes to get this triangle?

Problems, PopUp y Text fields disabled

hello,
I have a PopUp, that inside is a report of two columns ID,DESCRIPTION. the column DESCRIPTION
jascript is or Link to a URL that calls one, that it gives back to the values of the report to text fields to me.
The problem is that one of text fields this disabled by the Conditions and the Javascript does not let to me stick the value that I bring.
Somebody has some idea, or suggestion Thanks!

The documentation you're referring to says the following:
"These restrictions are not present for SWF content running in the stand-alone Flash Player or in AIR. AIR supports an interactive full-screen mode that allows keyboard input."
It mentions nothing about running full screen in a projector executable file which is what you are trying to do. The stand alone flash player is usually an executable file in the flash development environment that is used for testing and debugging flash content for the developer. For distributing your app I would think that there would be good reason to prevent text input in full screen projector files for the security reasons. You should probably look at distributing your intended content some other way or ask for special permission to do AIR. i have installed Xcelsius Engage Server 2008, when i try to add connection for SAP Netweaver BI from the Data Manager the dialog appears correctly but in Defination TAB only the Name field is enable both System and Query field is disable.
without that how can i configure the connection please let me know how to fix this issue.

Hi,
You give the name of the connection and then click on "Browse". It will then prompt you to connect to the desired system. Log in and then select the appropriate query you want to build a dashboard on.

Field disable or non editable -- goods movements

your assistace will be highly appreciated.
I´m working with tx CO11N and after completion of the requiere data we click on goods movements button and the next screen is : "Enter production order confirmation: goods movements" and this shows some fields and what I need is to disable some of them or make them non editable : quantity, storage location and movement type.
Is it posible through Spro? if yes could you please tell the where.
I don´t want to create a variant.

I guess Variant is the only option here, atleast thats what my PP consultant had done in my last project.
