Rebel t4i memory card error

I have a 3 week old Rebel T4i. Iam using a 16GB Sandisk SDHC card. Went fine for last 3 weeks. All of a sudden, the camera throws out an error message stating "No card in camera".
Need help..Has anyone faced this type of error & what can be done to solve this.

I have not had the exact same problem but I have had the video consistently stop recording on me about 1 minute to 2 minutes in of recording the video. Can you try and do a low level format of the card? If you can not do that do have a reciept for the Camera and the Memory card if you are having troubles right away I would not settle please do yourself a favor and take it right back. Canon makes amazing products but maybe once a million they make one that is a bad one but more than likely someone handled like a football and dropped it about 10 times. I would save yourself the grief of troubleshooting it here and just take it back or ask Canon for in Warranty service if that is not possible.

  • Hp officejet pro l7590 with blinking memory card error message

My all-in-one printer constantly blinks the yellow exclamation point and has the message Memory Card Error for no apparent reason.  I have not used a memory card.  It just decided to show the message and blink.  I turned it off and on again, with no change.  How do I make it stop?

Experiencing the same problem, so did some troubleshooting of my own.  I am using Windows 7; however, the OS should not make a difference since this is the built-in card reader which can be used without a computer being connected.  Specifically, I was trying to read an SD card to make a proof sheet.
I knew I had been able to read an older Compact Flash card, so tried that and was successful.  Then I tried an older SD card that is only 128MB -- no problem.  A closer look at the card causing the "Memory Card Error" message revealed that it is a 4 GB SD HC card.  The printer documentation includes Secure Digital in the list of supported memory cards, but not the newer variants.
Clearly, the error message is caused by attempting to read a non-supported memory card.

Photosmart C5180 displays 'memory card error' when SanDisk SDHC inserted.  (The card is not damaged, it's new & works in camera.)  I've been unsuccessful in finding  answers on HP site.  Any help most appreciated.  Thanks much.

Looking at the product specification, I see "High Capacity" (SDHC) memory is NOT supported on the device:

I also verified this with our group in San Diego - SDHC isn't supported.

  • 'Memory Card Error' for PowerShot SX610 HS

Hello, I purchased the PowerShot SX610 HS and bought the 32GB MICRO SDHC memory card. The first time that I inserted the memory card it was working perfectly fine. When I removed the battery for charging and then re insterted it did I then see the 'Memory Card Error' and now I'm not able to use the camera at all. I have tried unlocking the memory card and have removed the memory card and battery but to no avail. Does anyone have any insight into this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not a big fan of using micro SD cards when the camera is intended to be used with standard size SD cards. Try using a regular SD card instead. The adapter may have developed an issue or else the micro SD is not fully inserted in the adapter. I've had a failure of a micro SD card in one of my cameras and switched back to the standard size cards and have not had the problem since. Steve M.

    Nope.
    Read this link:  http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB05461
"BlackBerry Device Software version 4.6.0 and later >>  Up to 32 GB"
So, if the 8520 above has OS 4.6 or above, 32gb will fine. And I do believe the 8520 was released with OS 4.6, and has been upgraded to 5.0 since then.

  • C5180 - Memory card error

When I power up my printer I get "Memeory Card Error" and there is no memory card inserted. HP Solutions says there is an error on card. When I insert an SD card it puts out the message "Use only 1 card at a time". I noticed this right after a clean install of my PC.

Hi , I am not sure that the clean install on the PC is related as the error you are seeing sounds to me like a hardware issue, and not software related. Let's perform a hard reset. To do so, leave the printer on and unplug the power cable for 1 minute. While it is unplugged, hold down the power button on the printer for 10-15 seconds to release any built up power, then after the minute has passed, plug the printer back in. Also, do you have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is it in a surge protector or power bar? Even if you have been using a surge protector/power bar all this time and you feel it is not the cause, please connect it to a wall outlet just so we can eliminate the power source as the root cause.   Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector
In this document you will see, ISSUE: Problems or issues may arise when an HP LaserJet series printer is connected to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), a power strip, or a surge protector ^ This is not limited to Laserjet printers. Please let me know if this helps.

  • HT4623 My iphone 4s memory card didn't show & mentioned "error in memory card". How can i solve??

I can't excess my memory card on my iphone 4s. Showing "Memory Card Error". How can i solve the matter?

If you have to ship your phone back to the US, then you will need to ship is to a friend or a relative who actually lives out there.  You CANNOT ship it directly to Apple as they will not accept it.  Send it to a relative or friend that you have there and if you don't have any, then you are out of luck as there is nothing that you can do.
That is why is was not really a good idea to purchase an iPhone is the US when you are ultimately going to use it in China.  With no international warranty on the iPhone you are stuffed really.  You should have bought it in China and then you would not be facing this problem.
Nothing you can do except get on a plane and fly to the US or send the phone to a friend or relative.

  • Deezer application SD card error

Running BB Z10 with 10.2.1.2101 software version.
Love the Deezer (via Orange Romania) but the app has an error since the last 2-3 BB10 software updates. It says there is an SD memory card error and shuts off the app. The message sugests formatting the memory card "might" solve the problem. Tried twice, short term results and then the error message appears again.
Wrote to Deezer 3 weeks ago, they said they are working on the error but  is at least two months old already. This is how good apps die (((
    Anyone has a solution ?

First, connect your memory card to PC using a card reader. Copy all the content in the memory card to PC. Format the memory card, copy back all the content back to memory card. Now try using the card in the phone as usual.
    Hope this helps.

  • Camcorder video error: "Unable to record. Resolution not supported by memory card."

We purchased two Samsung Droid Charges the first day they were released and recently they've both been getting this error after 8-15 seconds of recording in HD (1280x720): "Warning: Unable to record. Resolution not supported by memory card."
Called Verizon tech support, but they referred me to Samsung. Not knowing much about micro SDHC cards, I was alarmed to discover that the factory pre-installed 32gb card is only rated class 2 for speed. Samsung told me you need a minimum of speed class 4 or higher to record at this resolution. The only problem is you need an SD card installed in order to use the camcorder, period. In other words, all of us who payed an arm and a leg for the best phone Verizon sells now have to go buy our own micro sd card that actually supports all of the phone features as advertised?! The lowest prices I've seen for the faster cards are $70. Are we the only two Charge owners experiencing this problem?  I've read somewhere that lower speed class cards may initially support faster speeds than they are rated until they accumulate more files, so the problem may go undetected for some time until you have more files that are stored in different locations on the card (making them difficult to access at the faster speeds). This may explain why are the first ones to get this error since we've had the phones the longest and only 50% free space remaining on the SD card. Oh, Samsung also said they won't be able to replace your card for one that has the proper speed rating. Kind of seems like false advertising to say a feature is available (HD camcorder), and then not mention the fact that the memory card provided isn't sufficient for that feature (separate upgrade required). Anyone else sharing the same frustrations? Ideas?

Thanks for the response. I've tried everything on that page. It's not an issue with the cable, or firewire port or the cable being connected properly, as the iSight camera works fine with iChat. I've disconnected the only other firewire device on the computer, didn't make any difference. Camera works fine in iChat, so it's not the camera itself. And, as I mentioned in the post, the same camera, if hooked up to my laptop, works just fine recording in QuickTime. So, it appears to be an issue with the QuickTime installation on this computer. I've done a search for the same error I'm getting and found some other occurrences with the same problems, but none that offered a solution.

  • 'No Computer Connection' error message when saving memory card pics

The printer is an HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m connected as a network device to an infrastructure communication mode wireless network.
There are no problems printing documents.
Documents have also been scanned and sent to specific computers on the network in the past.
So it certainly seems that there is a computer connection.
When a memory card holding pictures is inserted into the wireless printer and one tries to save the memory card pictures from the printer to a network computer without a memory card slot, one gets the error message, 'There is no computer connection'.
The Wireless Network Test Report Diagnostic Summary is all PASS with Very Good signal strength.
The Diagnostic Utilities were useless to me. I can only guess at what the problem might be because it isn't specifically mentioned as a possibility.
I tried turning the firewall off but it made no difference.
The documentation mentions UDP Port 427 but doesn't state the protocol to be entered into the slot for Windows Firewall.
There is a list of exception files but no detailed information on how to add them as exceptions into Windows Firewall.

    Try this basic troubleshooting fix:
1 - delete the IDVD preference file, com.apple.iDVD.plist, that resides in your
    User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete IDVD'S cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
    User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iDVD folder.
3 - launch IDVD and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
