Reboot a device from another?

Hi All
Is there any command or tcl script that anyone knows of that will enable you to reboot a switch or router from another one?
Like you would reboot a pc using shutdown -i in windows.....

That all depends on how you see it.
are you asking if you via remote access can telnet or ssh to a server and shut it down ?
yes that is possible.
if you can choose then use SSH.
are you asking if you can write a script that remotely will telnet or ssh to a server ?
yes i think that is possible.
it should be able to do just that, but i have never tested it.
are you asking if you can write a script that will respond to something you do to the router/switch to make it respond with a reload ? yes that is absolutely possible.
fx you can use hits on an access-list to trigger a eem who can issue commands.
are you asking if you can add hardware to a router to reset it ?
yes that is possible.
there are serial links or routers or modems with serial interfaces that can be used to connect to a router/switch serial ports so that you can use the cli.

Is it an old account of yours, or did you buy the device from another person ? If you bought the device from somebody else and it's linked to the previous owner's account then you will need to contact the previous owner, he/she is the only person who can remove it : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515
If it's your account and you can't remember your id (you can't remember an account id that you've had starting with a gmail.com email address, starting with 'e', as its primary email address ?) and/or password then have you tried the http://iforgot.apple.com link ?

It's a challenge when syncing a device for the first time to go through all the apps and apply them back to the same folders as on your other iphone.
I've seen suggestions of taking pictures of the correct layout, then manually applying it to the new device. Big time waister.

I'm afraid there is no short workaround. One thing that you could do if you were REALLY desperate is reset your device to factory settings and then restore it from your other device's backup, but that is rather risky and you probably don't want to take your chances just for folder layouts. I would just do it manually.

No. Photo stream only streams photos, not videos. To transfer videos between your devices you can either import them to iTunes and sync them, or (more conveniently) use an app like PhotoSync or Bump.

Each device has its own sync preferences with iTunes when syncing multiple devices with the same iTunes library under the same computer login account.
If sync calendars with the same calendar is selected under the Info tab for your daughter's iPad sync preferences with iTunes, the same calendar will be synced with her iPad.

If it's an audiobook then you will need to copy it over from the first computer to the second computer - audiobooks are currently one-time only downloads, so they won't appear under the Purchased link for re-downloading. If you copied it onto a device from the first computer then you should be able to copy it off that device to the second computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. If it's not on a device and both computers are on the same wifi network then you should be able to copy it over via home sharing (there are instructions on this page), or you can copy it to, for example, a flash drive (you can find it's location on the first computer by control-clicking it in your iTunes library and selecting 'Show In Finder') and then add it to the second computer's iTunes (File > Add To Library).
If it's an ibook then you should be able to re-download it from the store : re-downloading.
