Reboots. shows 75% charged.doesnt turn on without charger, doesnt with laptop for restore.

iPad 2, 18 months old, ios 7.0.1. two weeks back it got me bothered. shoes 77% charged but doesnt turn on unless charger connected. after turning on completely it reboots in next 2 minutes. i cant reset it because it doesnt turn on from laptop. F1 pls.

Update:
The diagnosis-panic log says 'CRC ERROR'.
Seems like I'm unlucky to get the very rate bad battery and I'm not in US.
It was a gift purchased there. :-(

If it is... then I would suspect a battery issue (i.e dead battery).

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Pc does NOT turn of without charger

Hi guys, my laptop Thinkpad edge E530 is fully charged, normally it runs aboat 2 hours without charger. The problem is, when I turn it down, or put in sleep mode after that I´m not able to turn the pc on without charger even if the battery is fully charged. The diod light up, the fan turns on and after 3 seconds the whole pc shuts down. If I plug in the charger the pc starts normally. Do anyone know what could case this problem? Thaks for you reply.

It probably doesn't know how much juice is left in the battery and then refuses to start. To solve this we will callibrate the battery:
Fully charge your battery
Remove the AC adapter when the laptop is still running
Deplete the battery completely. Note that if it hibernates or goes to sleep mode when it is nearly depleted, just start it again until you are sure the battery is completely depleted.
Then plug in the AC adapter and start your laptop again and let it charge while the system is on.
Do this up to 3 times if necessary.
Please do come back here with the results.

If it is not or restoring does not help, you have obvious hardware damage - at least to the lock button, and possibly the screen gave out. Have it looked at by the Apple Store Genius Bar: http://apple.com/retail/geniusbar.

S10-2 turns off without charging cable

Hi, I have a problem with my Lenovo S10-2 and hope that one of you may have an idea how to solve it. Since today, my netbook instantly turns off as soon as I remove the charging cable. It cannot be because of low battery, as after the first time I gave it some hours to load before trying again. Also, when it is off and I press the start-button, the red LED-light that would be supposed to burn if the battery was empty does not shine. In fact, the netbook just does not react on anything as long as the charging cable is not connected to it. Does anyone have an idea what to do? Thanks alot for suggestions!

can you try to remove/replace the battery first?
also try this trick: remove the battery, unplug the ac power, press power button for 30-40 seconds, replace the battery and check if it woks.
if it doesn't, could be power or dead battery issue. if you have valid warranty, it would be better to contact lenovo support line.

Hello im having trouble with my laptop that is given to me its a little bit old at least a 2 year.Its a Hp pavilion dv6 i7 processor and running on Windows 7. But im having a problem i just got my new battery from Saudi and at first it runs fine but after wards whenever i open my laptop it wont turn on unless i plugged in the charger and when i open it and i check in the bottom right it says charging it it is in 70% ,Worst part is whenever i unplugg it turns off instantly... Also whenever i play minecraft a few minutes it shutdowns instantly i dont know but i just got this heat sync they call cleaned and repair a few days ago and it is not as hot as the past several days but that instant shutdown still occurs.. Please help me this laptop is so fast but that shutdown issues is im worried off. Thank you

Iphone 4s Prob: Doesnt turn on or charge.

I had my iphone 4s for about 3 months, yesterday it was working fine. The battery died and when i went to charge it. It didnt want to charge, so im going to take it to the apple store. Just want to know on some imput on what you guys think it happen.

Connect to the wall charger for 30 minutes. Then hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. About a minute later the phone should complete its reboot.

I have had it for about 2 years.
I haven't used it for about a week during which time it has been completely out of battery power. I plug the charger into the mp3 and the the lightning bolt shows on the zen? but even after leaving it on charge for a good few hours overnight when i unplug it, it just goes dead, and won't come on.
I then tried to charge it through the usb on my pc but it gets no power to the player. and therefore w0on't come on.
I then tried resetting the zen and doing the above two again but got the sdame outcome.
So i tried the the recovery method which wiped my zen free of everything ( i had backups, thankfully).
Tried the first two thiong again but to no avail.
I can do the last option which is the firmware option, because i can't connect to a pc.
Has my zen mgone kaput or can it be saved?!

First, to get the tray open. You need to push harder.
Secondly, Does it have a wall power plug? If the battery is dead, it's won't work. Try to charge it with the wall plug adopter and not through the computer. Some USBs don't put out power so, are you pluging it into a Powered USB?
Try these and let us know.
OH! If you got it wet, you may have ended it. Did you get it wet? You could try putting it in a bag of rice, and hope it works.

So I assume it doesn't power on when you disconnect it either? What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting? What happens if you try to perform a hard reset of the Nano with it still connected to the charger? To do this, toggle the hold switch on and then off, then press press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
It could also be a faulty cable that is preventing your iPod from being able to build up or receive any sort of charge or current from the external power source. If you have another cable laying around, swap it out to see if that helps.

I dropped my iPod Touch and now it won't come on without it being connected to a charger but it won't charge either...

So I was in the bathroom, cleaning my iPod case, and I accidentally dropped my unprotected iPod Touch from about two or three feet up.
I picked it up and tried to turn it on, but it would not work.
I freaked out and went to my charger in my room and connected my iPod to it, and soon the Apple logo came on and it turned on.
I was relieved, but the time was set to the wrong time, so I set the time to the right one, and took the charger out.
As soon as I pulled the connecting cable thing out, my ipod went black and wouldn't turn on again.
It's not charging either, as the symbol on the battery up in the upper right corner doesn't have the lightning symbol, but the symbol that looks like the part of something that uses electricity that you plug into the concent (or whatever that is called)
And when I connect it to the computer, the apple logo comes on, then goes black, then comes on and keeps on doing that, and it will not show on iTunes.
I have tried pressing the home and off buttons for 10 seconds to reset it, and turned it on and off... but my iPod just will not charge OR turn on without being connected to the charger.
Are there any more things I could try, or will I have to go to Apple and get it fixed??

I would not waste any more time. If a reset did not fix it, and given what you describe, it sure sounds like a hardware issue.
The bad news is that accidental damage is not covered under warranty, so you may have to pay for an out of warranty exchange.
Do you have a recent backup to restore from if you end up with a refurbished exchange unit? If not, ask the Apple folks to try and recover and transfer what is on there now at least, before you surrender the damaged one to them.
