We are planning to Rebrand our company name. Change the name of the company. Initially we are identitying the customer facing documents which would need a name change. I Would need your help and suggestion in identifying what would customer facing documents in OTC cycle and P2P cycle.

To add new domain as the primary one - use the Email Address Policies. Make the new one as default.

For external access - you will just need to update the external URL on Exchange 2013 Virtual Directories. Update the Public DNS to point to the new URL/Domain to your public IP. Get a new certificate. Internal domain name does not matter.

Suggestions for most efficient way to create a second app or site with minor rebranding

I've been asked to create a new Foundation 2010 ite that's going to be 90% the same site as one for another division. The current website uses custom masterpages and some other customization. My understanding is that the differences are going to be a different
URL and some minor branding stuff. THey are external presence sites. I don't believe it's using search or much else in the way of services, custom wsps, etc. Very simple sites.
I'm thinking of backing up the dbs, restoring using different mdf/ldf and db names, creating a new app and attaching, but not sure if the GUIDs will conflict. I'm also thinking that what the masterpages call in _layouts may need to be changed, which should
be pretty simple.
Anything I'm overlooking?
Also, apologies for using apps and sites interchangeably, I'm aware of the differences. I was actually asked to create a new site and assign a new URL to it, but if that's doable it sounds more complex to me.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to create a second app or site with minor rebranding.
I recommend to create a test environment for existing production enviroment.

How to reflect auto-rebranding of Sales Order in SNP Planning?

Hi Experts,
We have a scenario wherein we have branded product and unbranded product.
-Customers are billed for branded product
-Demand Planning forecast for the branded product
-Invetory will be on unbranded product and I can say that we plan for the unbranded product.
Sales order document will have the branded product in the document. Before the creation of delivery and GI, there will be a stock movement from unbranded to branded product..
In terms of how to model this in APO SNP Planning, I am thinking of using either
(1) Form Fit Function --> branded and unbranded in one class and the unbranded as leading prouct
(2) phantom assembly --> unbranded as component of branded product.
The trick now is that there are cases that they stock for the branded product. So in case there is stock in branded product and its enough to cover the whole quantity of sales order, there will be no rebranding and they will ship for the branded product.
This is where I am having problem modellign in APO SNP. I hope you can help me. Thanks.

" A sales BOM is not a
planning relevant BOM hence the components must not be transfered in
standard to SCM system. This was introcued with note 398610.
If you need to transfer this items to APO, even if the BOM is not
planning relevant then your have to use a BADI to overwrite here the
standard behavior. Check here note 929975 and related notes.
The filtering is done in prgramm SAPLCUSLNTRTO
FORM CUSLNTRTOX_CHECK_APO_RELEVANCY
IF is_itm_data-sanfe <> marked
OR is_itm_data-objty EQ gc_obj_3.
ev_delete_flag = marked.
So you have to overwrite here this value to get this items transfered.
But anyway is is then out of standard, as a planning system needs only
planning relevant data. "

Who is inbox? They've taken over my Firefox Application. How do I get rid of this, or is it you rebranding?

When I click on my Firefox icon on my front page, I get a whole other "internet browser" called Inbox, which seems to have displaced you all together. It has not affected my internet explorer browser. I suspect that I have been hacked, despite a two-month-ago installation of AVG antivirus softwarre, which was recommended by a friend, but is cumbersome and annoying. Any ideas? Are you rebranding to Inbox? I would not think so. I like my Firefox just the way it is. thanks for your help in advance , Laura Beauchamp

Rebranding a fuel material

Scenario
When rebranding a fuel material to or from SLOP, the counter posting of the excise duty posting goes entirely to the provincial account, whereas it should be split amongst the federal and provincial.
When we convert to slop difference between federal and provincial taxes between material converted to and converted from is posted to one account instead of being split to two different accounts.
IS that true?
Standard SAP is not having capability to post the respective differences to respective accounts; it posts to one account only needing reconciliation in the end. A development may be needed to provide this functionality to you.
We need to decide this on basis on number of transactions comprising conversions to slop
IF not what will be the Solution -

for accountability and quality inspection , batch has no relevance.
But if need for tracability and track ofcource it has. create batch per tank (one option manually ).
batch means things in a packet , you can issue in packets , suppose 500 litre in packet means u can issue 500 L maximun from packet A ,
dnt think batch req for for a these kinda consumables

I am trying rebrand Weblogic Admin Console to make distinct for each environment, such as PROD, DEV, TST & etc. I followed the documentation [http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/e13745/rebrand.htm# ] but I couldn't get branding to work.
I am not sure why the branding didn't work. Can you review my branding procedure?
Below are the steps:
1. Build template directory
$> cd $WL_HOME/server/lib/console-ext/templates
$> ant -f build-new-laf.xml -Dname=myLAF -Ddir=/opt/app/oracle/weblogic/myLAF
2. Change Bradning_Login_WeblogicConsole.gif
--edit /opt/app/oracle/weblogic/myLAF/framework/skins/ext-name/images/Branding_Login_WeblogicConsole.gif
3. Create netuix-extension.xml and save /opt/app/oracle/weblogic/myLAF/WEB-INF directory

Problems in Rebranding

Hi all
We are trying to rebrand the admin portal.The changes which we do in the login.properties file or in the CSS file are properly reflecting but the changes which we do in the images are not reflecting.
To try, we even deleted the images folder but still there was no change.

Forget Rebranding, Have You Tried Unbranding?

Last night I served bacon, eggs, and fruit for dinner. My children were shocked. “You can’t have breakfast for dinner!” I tried to explain that breakfast, lunch, and dinner were defined by the time of day you consume food, not the type of food you’re consuming. Of course, over time eggs and bacon have been classified as breakfast, sandwiches are for lunchtime, and spaghetti is preferred at dinner time. We’ve branded food based on habit. But here’s something interesting, my son always passes on scrambled eggs at breakfast time, but he gobbled them up at dinner. I didn’t reclassify them as a dinner food, simply “these are eggs and we’re eating them for dinner”. I unbranded the food.

Need to rebrand Hp Pavilion DV7-3165 do entertainment notebook

An IT guy told me it needed to be rebranded, and I have tried the system recovery discs and they don't work. It says that the product information is invalid. HP IT guy told me to come to the forums and it will tell me step by step on how to fix it. it also says BOOTMGR is missing. I haven't found much information on it. Please help!

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion dv7-3165dx Notebook and Windows error message Bootmgr is missing. The disks you are using should be exactly the same Operating system as what you had on the Notebook. Here is a link from Microsoft for the error. It gives you a step by step instructions.
If that does not help, here is a document on repairing and reinstalling the Operating system.
You could restore the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings which could resolve the issue.

Sony should rebrand Xperia devices as Playstation devices to increase sales

T-Mobile just dropped the Xperia Z3, even though the Xperia Z3 has been getting rave reviews, according to the Wall Street Journal and other popular media sites. Problem is, Sony doesn't do any advertising, so it's fallen behind many lesser competitors even though in terms of specs and build quality it's arguably better than Samsung and Apple.
But Xperia has little name recognition. Meanwhile, PLAYSTATION has strong brand power in the U.S. So, Sony should just rebrand the Xperia Z3 and upcoming Z4, the Playstation Phone, at least in the U.S., if not the whole world. There are millions of Playstation fans in the US, and tens of millions in the world. These fans are bound to at least give a Playstation Phone a look.Sony wouldn't have to advertise because the Playstation name is already out there.
This could be a way that Sony could keep the Xperia brand, and its Mobile unit, alive in the U.S. and increase its presence beyond niche in the world.
What do people think? Would you like to own a Playstation Phone that has the same black metallic finish of the PS4 console?

Really dont think $5million is worth the few seconds to be honest....i realise it probably isnt much from Mr Sonys pockets but i would have rather seen it go into a more worthwhile piece of physical (magazine) advertisement. Sony got good advertising/results when they sponsored some of the Sky big name shows a while back.........just my feeble opinion

Rebranded from POSReady 2009 to Windows XP Embedded after updates

We are currently building a Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 image for a number of touch based terminals.
I started off by installing the base OS POSReady 2009 (non-evaluation version) and ran the windows update. After about 142 updates later my OS is now rebranded to Windows XP Embedded(System Properties, Login screens, etc...). I was able to narrow down the
problematic update to

due to the severity of the update and our terminals having a network connection we can not exclude the update from the build. I also checked the underlying OS using the method advised here

Yes, for example that there is already IE7 included out-of-the-box instead of IE6, etc. (newer software versions), that there is 'fbreseal -keepall' optionally available instead of SysPrep and unattended setup is completely different. Additionally POSReady2009
comes with some interesting EEFs: FBWF for instance.

Can we rebrand flex based component using CSS?

We are new to Flex.
We just built a custom grid component extending ADG using version 4. We would like the consumers (other application developers) use this component within other J2EE based applications with additional customization like
branding or themes. --- can we use external CSS ?
grid columns, order, initial sort order, filtering, , data source ( or backend service url ) to retrieve data, etc ? how can we do it? if this component is offered as an HTTP(S) url, can we pass in parameters to customize before framing it ? which is the best way ?
Please let us know whether it is possible ? If so, how best we can implement it ? Any examples out there? Appreciate if someone can share. It will help us to add this custom grid to our component repository.

For styling, it is very disappointing to know that we are limited. If there is a way to tweak in that will help while Adobe comes out with additional support for styling in future versions.

870A-G54 rebranded as 870S-G54?

I was poking around inside my computer and noticed that printed on the motherboard was USB 3.0 even though my 870S was not spec'd as having any of them. Then I looked at where my board was branded as 870S to find a sticker over it. Out of curiosity I peeled back the sticker and sure enough underneath was stamped 870A. Can anybody explain this to me please? I have sent a message to CS but have not received anything in return. Thanks!

870A- and 870S-G54 are the same boards apart from the USB3.0 chip on 870A. It's the same board layout, cooling and chipset. As 870S-G54 is a stripped-down 870A-G54 as far as USB3.0 goes it uses of course the same board. Without the USB3.0 it's a 870S. Can't see the problem as it is quite normal.

What is the best way to apply a template to the rebranded partner site?

My partner site got severely jacked up when I was brand new to BC.
Since then I've overwritten it in Muse while attempting to "try' it as well.
Apparently does some "cleaning" meaning the template files I once had access to in the templates folder got deleted. bleh.
Is there a quick way to apply another template I own to that site such as publishing a trial site and re-pointing dns or anything that direct and smart; or is the only way to do it a manual, one by one by one of files, modules, content holders and so on?

Feel free to log in through FTP and download the whole site. All the modules should work since the module IDs on your site will match those on this site.

When I go to WebMail I get a web page that says 'Mac OS X Server WebMail Login'.
Which files do I need to edit to change this and add some of my own header graphics to the whole experience?
