Rebuilding - Am I on the right path?

I hit a rough patch a few years back and got behind on some credit cards.  I have been trying to rebuild over the past year or so, and have been following these forums.  I am curious to know if I am on the right path, is there anything else I should be or can be doing?  Status as of 7/23/15: Fico8 scores: 681EX/645TR/676EX Good Accounts:Mortgage - never late, opened 2009HELOC - never late, opened 2005Mortgage (closed), never late, open 2005-2009Chase Car loan - never late, opened 2010 - pays off 5/16Wells Car loan (closed/paid off 2005-2010 - never late)Barclays Card - never late, $4500 CL, UTI about 75% (working on getting it down)Shell gas card - one 30day late from 2012, $200CL, $0 balance BaddiesWells Fargo CC - settled for less than full balance in 2012 with CASH LLC.  Showing up as a charge-off/closed.  Not really showing any negative payment history howeverBank of America (3 cards) - settled for less than full balance in 2011.  each showing a handfull of 90+day lates, but they are old early 2011Chase (2 cards) - these are still showing as charged-off and reporting each month for 2 of the agencies (other one not being reported).  Each about $4000 balances.Cap One - chargeoff/closed/settled for less than full balance may 2014 - decent amount of 90+days lates for this one, from May 2014 backwards3 medical collections (Focused Recovery Solutions) for about $300 each.  From 2010 medical bills.  Showing as reported Dec 2012.  These are only showing up on Transunion report.  Anyway, my biggest question is, what can I/Should I do about the Chase accounts.  Those are the ones that I am most concerned about.  Last payment was Nov 2010, they are outside of the SOL.  For a year or two, I was getting dunning letter from collections agencies on those, then they ceased and eventually Chase sent me a letter saying they would not try to collect or sue me on them as they were too old, but that they would continute to report them to the CRAs.  Best offer I could give them at this point is maybe 50% settlement, which I doubt they would take - plus I am afraid to even contact them and risk restarting the SOL. Lastly, my wife and I (her credit is 700s) are thinking about selling our current house and buying a new one - my scores are high enough to get a loan, but I suspect those two open chase accounts would have to be dealt with before getting an approvel. Would appreciate any thoughts/comments.....

Bumping this, as I am worried about what to do with the 2 chase accounts.  It appears they are reporting fresh 90+ day lates each month to EQ/EX, see example below.
The DoFD is 12/2010 for both accounts. Is it possible to contact them about PFD or settlement without restarting the SOL clock??  LATE 90 PLUS DAYS 27 times (Mar 2015, Feb 2015, Jan 2015, Dec 2014, Nov 2014, Oct 2014, Sep 2014, Aug 2014, Jul 2014, Jun 2014, May 2014, Apr 2014, Mar 2014, Feb 2014, Jan 2014, Dec 2013, Nov 2013, Oct 2013, Sep 2013, Aug 2013, Jul 2013, Jun 2013, May 2013, Apr 2013, Mar 2013, Feb 2013, Jan 2013)

  • Where is the right path to deploy third party DLL? "Support Files"?

    Hi, After Effetcs developers:-)
    Here is question about install path of DLL for After Effects plug-in.
    I'm developing Effects plug-in run with CUDA, so I have to deploy third party DLL to client PC.
    So where is the right path to put DLL such as cudart32_30_14.dll?
    I think it's under "Support Files", because my plug-in runs with cudart32_30_14.dll
    in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS4\Support Files"
    Am I right?

    well... that depends.
    when you rely on an external library, the external dll is expected to be somewhere along the path, as it appears in the command prompt.
    places like win32, and sxs folders are in that path.
    you could also put the support dll in the same folder as your plug-in. any process automatically includes it's own directory in the search path.
    if you don't want to put it in any of these pre-set locations, then you have to program the path into the dll loading function.
    if you choose to do that, you can put the support dll anywhere you like.

  • How to input the right path that i need in miscellaneous files folder

    i have this sample code
    public class image extends JFrame
    private JLabel statusBar = new JLabel();
    private JMenuItem menuFileExit = new JMenuItem();
    private JMenu menuFile = new JMenu();
    private JMenuBar menuBar = new JMenuBar();
    private ImageIcon imagedoc = new ImageIcon(button.class.getResource("help.gif"));
    private JButton buttondoc = new JButton();
    private JPanel jPanel1 = new JPanel();
    it works but i used the pictures in the file that is already with the jframe.
    i want to add other image, i've already add them on my project but my problem is it is located to another folder. the miscelleanous files folder. if i used the same code, there are errors.
    i want to know the right path in how i can use those images in that folder.
    thanks in advance
    pls reply as soon as possible... i really need this one.

    Hello,
    I think the way to make your images/icons work in your jclient app,
    is to use such a code (test it):
    Class c = Class.forName("YourList.YourListWindowFrame");
    java.net.URL testt = c.getResource("create.gif");
    ImageIcon imageCreate = new ImageIcon(testt);
    if ( imageCreate != null)
    buttonCreate.setIcon(imageCreate);
    But this only works if you copy your icon (create.gif ) into your class directory
    YourList/classes/YourList. This is if your output directory in your project Settings
    is set to YourList/classes and the package is YourList.
    Even if your additional class path is set to YourList/classes and you try to set
    your additional class path to YourList/icons, your icons are not found.
    It looks like JDeveloper is only looking in your output sub directories.
    When you build your application, your gif files are "copied" to your output directory:
    YourList/classes.
    So, you will have to manually put the icons in your class/packages to make this work.
    The idea is that the image files need to be in the same dir as the Java
    class file that loads them. Therefore, the best way to do that is to have
    an ImageLoader class that is in the same folder as the images one:
    public class ImageLoader
    public ImageLoader()
    public ImageIcon getImageIcon(String name)
    return new ImageIcon(getClass().getResource(name + ".gif"));
    and would be called like this:
    mButtonButton.setIcon(imgl.getImageIcon("JButton"));
    http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/products/jdev/jclient/jclient_binding_demo.html
    There you will find a jClient Component Demo that has this code you can use.
    (its a pretty cool and extensive demo ... he can look at files ImageLoader.java
    and StartFrame.java to see how that particular coding is done.)

    I don't how much help that can be for you, but here is an interesting Metalink note :

  • Get the right path

    here's the problem
    i want to get the right path while i'm choosing the directory from JFilechooser
    JFileChooser fileChooser = new JFileChooser();
    fileChooser.setFileSelectionMode(fileChooser.DIRECTORIES_ONLY);
    int returnValue = fileChooser.showOpenDialog(null);
    if (returnValue == JFileChooser.APPROVE_OPTION) {
          File myFile = fileChooser.getCurrentDirectory();
          System.out.println(" dir name : " + myFile.getAbsolutePath() + " " + myFile.getName() );
    }so when i'm choosing a directory, just say it "c:\pdf"
    but using getAbsolutePath() only return "c:\"
    did i miss something here?what's wrong with my code...
    or is there any method to do so?
    i want to return the path..in this case "c:\pdf"

    Try JFileChooser's getSelectedFile() method instead of getCurrentDirectory().

  • Is this the right path to become a Oracle 10g DBA

    I installed Oracle 10g XE with the intention of bringing myself upto speed for Oracle DBA course for Oracle 10g.
    Now, let me give my background. I have done lot of programming on PL/SQL on Oracle 8i, but that was more than 4 years ago. I have been more functional for past 4 years. Now I am am trying to get into DBA role.
    What all should I focus on XE, in order to prepare myself for Oracle 10g DBA course?
    Thanks in advance.

    Is installing XE the right path to becoming a DBA?
    I would say that it isn't! XE is perfect if you need a production database and can fit it within the XE limitations. XE is also perfect if you want a Oracle DB with out any of the DBA fuzz. If you want to learn you should install Enterprise Edition. You can get the software on oracle.com, and I believe that you can use it for free as long as you do not do any production on it. XE is not shipped with enterprise manager (oem). However it is shipped with the Enterprise Edition, so another argument for installing that and not XE.
    So to summarize it: Get a Enterprise Edition!

  • Oracle Forms&Reports certification - choose the right path

    Dear professionals,
    I'm Oracle Forms and Reports developer for about 10 years. Now, I'm on the way to become Forms and Reports certified professional (either to be Forms Developer Professional or Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Forms Developer):
    https://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=653&get_params=p_id:177#tabs-1-3
    In order to achieve my goal, first I have to pass Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate exam:
    http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=458&get_params=p_track_id:PLSQl
    After I read one of @matthew_morris articles, I decided to choose in the step one exam (1Z0-051 Oracle Database 11g: SQL Fundamentals I). I prepared this exam.
     Now, I'm preparing for the next step where I have to pass one of these exams:1Z0-147 Program with PL/SQL or 1Z0-144 Oracle Database 11g: Program with PL/SQL
    What's your suggestion for me (since I'm developer and tend to be in the future)? I carefully read the next article but I still have some dilemmas:
    http://ezinearticles.com/?Oracle-PL/SQL-Developer-Certification:-1Z0-147-or-1Z0-144?&id=7190832
    Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Adnan

    I will say I am biased toward 1z0-144.
    And very anti 1z0-147.
    and believe 1z0-147 has bad practices (and training material certainly has), unless it has been overhauled to 2015 standards.  It has probably introduced and left many newbies in the dinosaur ages.
    I think 1z0-147 has some client size programming orientations, but that said i feel it is more to say Forms 4.5 standards.  It is nowhere near 12c !
    It also got scheduled for withdrawal at some point but got a last minute retrieve ( https://blogs.oracle.com/certification/entry/0864_01).
    I wonder if was due to the oracle ODP programme still teaching for it much later than they should have been .... ( if my sarcasm continues i would get red carded so i shall shut up).

  • Help deciding on the right path...

    Hello, I wrote a children's book for the ipad that has a few animations on each of its 11 pages and I paid a graphic designer to do the page designs for me. I'm really happy with the quality design work but now its time to add some sound effects and code up the animations.
    When the designer was finished I ended up with:
    - backgrounds for each page
    - 8-10 frames for each animated character
    - a .swf file for the developer to use as an example when coding for the iphone, complete with animation
    - the source .fla files
    Originally when I started the project my thought was to get a developer to code it in xcode for the iPad but I've recently learned that Flash 5 can export to iOS formats so I'm wondering wether I should hire a professional flash guy to finish this up for me and then export it or hire a iOS developer to code it in xcode.
    Can anyone give me feedback on what which be the better way to go? Are there any negatives to exporting to iOS format with Flash 5? Does it bloat the file size? Is it buggy?
    Thanks,
    -Jordan

    coding in xcode will improve performance and that's important if you have a performance intensive application.  it doesn't sound like you so so that may not be a factor.
    you're then left comparing the cost to pay for a xcode programmer vs the cost to do this in flash.

  • How to create the right path depending from Os

    Hi all,
    I should do a simple thing
    1. Get a dir by a filechooser
    2. Get a dir by another filechooser
    3. Extract all files' name by 1.
    4. Append every filename from 3. to 2.
    5. 4.toString()
    I have problem in 4. Becouse if I append them as Strings I've to add a separator character between dir an filename. This char id \ under Windows and / under linux. Is here any way to concatate a filename and a dir indipendently from filesystem?
    This is the current version that work only on Windows:
                final JFileChooser fc = new JFileChooser();
                fc.setFileSelectionMode(JFileChooser.DIRECTORIES_ONLY);
                fc.setDialogTitle("Select Source Folder");
                returnVal = fc.showOpenDialog(this);
                File file = fc.getSelectedFile();
                final JFileChooser fc2 = new JFileChooser();
                fc2.setFileSelectionMode(JFileChooser.DIRECTORIES_ONLY);
                fc2.setDialogTitle("Select Destination Folder");
                returnVal2 = fc2.showOpenDialog(this);
                File file2 = fc2.getSelectedFile();
                if (returnVal2 == JFileChooser.APPROVE_OPTION &&
                    returnVal == JFileChooser.APPROVE_OPTION) {
                    File allFiles[] = file.listFiles();
                    for (int i = 0; i < allFiles.length; i++) {
                        if (allFiles.isFile()) {
    Mp3s mp3file = new Mp3s(allFiles[i].getAbsolutePath().
    toString(),
    file2.getAbsolutePath().
    toString() +
    "\\" + allFiles[i].getName());
    Mp3 is a class that gets 2 strings (1st_path/filename, 2nd_path/filename)
    or (1st_path\filename, 2nd_path\filename) depending from OS and that's the dial
    Hope everithing is clear.
    Tnx in advance
    Ciro

    The forward slash should be used, regardless of the platform. The only time this may not work under Windows is if you actually pass the string outside of the Java process. But things like:
    File x = new File("/some/directory/somefile.ext");
    should work under all OS environments. Under Windows, the above will reference whatever the current drive is (C:, for example), so it would resolve to c:\some\directory\somefile.ext when all is said and done. Java takes care of the conversion for you.

  • Is it the right time for me to get SAP SD Certification?

    Greetings everyone!!!
    For the past few days, I have been thinking alot about taking my career to a new step and get SAP SD certification.
    But before venturing further into it, let me briefly explain about my Background.
    I am a marketing Post Graduate and an MBA with an Experience of 10 months in the field of Sales and Business Development, in the Wellness Industry. (I have attached my curriculum vitae for you all to study and help me in selecting the right path)
    As of now, I think of two possible ways of going about the SAP Certification. (Since I have more or less decided to do it anyway)
    1. To get more experience in the domain and then get the certification
    2. To get the certification right away
    I should also declare this before hand that i have no hands on experience with any of the ERP software in practice today. But i do know little bit about Tally. And, if I have to get that before taking us SAP Certification, then that would mean searching for a new job and working in the new job for some time to get to know the basics.
    Also, after visiting the SAP Academy in my city, they offered me two options -
    a) ILT (Instructor Led Training)
    b) E Learning
    I wanted to know if there will be a vast difference between the learning outcome from these two, and which one should i prefer joining. Its just that, If i go for the ILT, I will have to quit my job, where as on the other hand, I can pursue the course without leaving the job, but within 200 Hrs of Campus E Learning.
    Also, considering my background, is Sales and Distribution the correct module for me or should i consider doing any other course.
    Apart from all the above, is there ANYTHING ELSE i am missing?
    Kindly show me the light.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vedansh

    Hi Vwdansh,
    generally SD modules are taken by MBA or related professionals because of having a domain knowledge in Sales and Distribution area, so your choice is good, however there are some more functional module exits in SAP which can be taken as an career option like CRM etc, for details about the major SAP functional module you can search on Google on in SCN.
    When it comes to taking a training , you can opt for weekends classes as it is a suitable option for a working proffessional, the concern is that while having a online training , you may face some problem in which online suggestion will not provide you any fruitful meanings as your learnings, so a classroom training should be prefferable.
    As you have working experiences so i will suggest you to take training from any authorised training center, ask the councellor that you wants weekends classes so that your present work will not get interrupted.
    Finally, SD module is a right choice for you but once you should search some more major module that may suits you, because in SD there are so many people already working, but its not the case with CRM.
    If you have any further query, please revert.

  • What is the right way to set the physical path of a folder?

    I want to upload .PDF files using an Upload form on a JSP page which is located on the App Server. The .PDF files will be uploaded into the Web Server. The App Server and Web Server are on separate machines. My JSP page contains the path (eg: /apps/Server4/docs/Upload/) that should point to the physical folder on the Web Server. My problem is that I get an error stating that the folder cannot be found as the path was invalid. My question is, when I have this sort of setup, what is the right form of the physical path? Can you give me an example of a path that points from the App Server to the Web Server which sits on another machine. OR should I just install the Web Server in the same machine as
    the App Server? I was developing on a setup where both the Apps and Web Server was on the same machine
    and I didn't have this 'path problem'. The problem arise when the application was deployed onto our staging server. Why do I want to upload it onto the Web Server? This is because I need to view the .PDF files using Acrobat Reader straight from the server without downloading the .PDF file. I found out I couldn't do this if the .PDF files were uploaded into a folder which sits in the App Server.

    Well the problem is, as you have found out, is that the JVM is executing on the appserver which may or may not have access to the webserver. There no way (within your existing application) that you can tell the webserver to save the file, since the webserver isn't executing any code.
    So you have several options:
    1. You can have the application server and webserver run on the same physical machine. This obviously gives the application server access to the physical directory structure of the webserver. (Assuming that you set permissions correctly.) The disadvantage is that there are many architectural advantages (including security) that you would want to separate your webserver and appserver.
    2. You can NFS mount the webserver directory on the appsever box. This allows you to treat the webserver directory as if it was local. The downside to this is that you will have additional security concerns. (Exposing the webserver via NFS, firewall issues between the two servers etc.)
    3. Fix the MIME problem occuring when you serve PDF's from the appserver. You might have to write your own PDF serving servlet to do this.

  • [Solved]Bash:Manipulating arrays of paths? the right way or not?

    Note: Refer to the following posts for better solutions and/or alternatives.
    This is a mock segment of a script I'm writting and I need to know if I'm doing it the correct way or at least in a proper bash way...
    the following works but will it always parse in a sorted manner. I have a set of directories that are named by date in the YYYY-MM-DD (International) format and want to be sure that they will always be treated as directory paths even when special characters "\n,\t,\s ...etc" are encountered in the path. The number of these directories changes and is compared to a set NUM-ber variable and when there are more than the set number the oldest ones are removed which brings a second question. Being dated as YYYY-MM-DD they sort from oldest to newest(lexicographical order) but do they always and is this the right way to deal with elements in an array separated by nulls? Any Comments or suggestions would be appreciated as I'm learning bash for the  time being (perl is next) and gathered this from bits and peices on verious wikis and forums. I basically want know if this a correct approach to the subject of extracting and performing actions on elements of an array that are directory paths.
    #!/bin/bash
    oifs="$IFS"
    IFS=$'\0'
    DIRTREE=(/path/to/dated/directories/[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]/)
    NUM=5
    HOWMANYMORE=$(echo $(( ${#DIRTREE[@]} - $NUM )))
    if (( ${#DIRTREE[@]} > $NUM )) ; then
    rm -rv "${DIRTREE[@]:0:$HOWMANYMORE}"
    fi
    IFS="$oifs"
    Note:I have tested this for those wondering

    This works as really well, however, in my case I still need the other sets in separate arrays for other purposes in my personal script so I adapted the approach a little and got this which uses the array+=(foo) syntax properly now. I was aware of this feature in bash arrays and experimented with it but had no success adding elements from other arrays until you demonstrated it in your example by adding them though a "for loop" and doing the arithmetic there... My current one now is very similar...I'm not sure how to reduce it further if possible but I need the other arrays as I do something completely different with them:
    #!/bin/bash
    NUM=10
    set1=(/home/maat/datedfolders/set1/[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]/)
    set2=(/home/maat/datedfolders/set2/[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]/)
    set3=(/home/maat/datedfolders/set3/[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]-[0-9][0-9]/)
    CT1=$(( ${#set1[@]} - NUM ))
    CT2=$(( ${#set2[@]} - NUM ))
    CT3=$(( ${#set3[@]} - NUM ))
    for X in "${set1[@]:0:$CT1}" "${set2[@]:0:$CT2}" "${set3[@]:0:$CT3}"
    do
    combined+=("$X")
    done
    for
    for Xdirs in "${combined[@]}"
    do
    rm -rv "$Xdirs"
    done
    I'm considering changing the title of this thread as it reveals a little more than I originally expected to go over and provides some pitfalls as well as ways to approach array manipulation which can be applied to wide range of uses in bash scripting. Others may find totally different uses for what we've discussed here so....

  • SCOM agent install fails Error 80070035 - the network path was not found

    I have deployed SCOM 2012 agents to most servers (2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012R2) in our estate but some either fail to install or are not monitored. I assume the two problems are related, but for now I am concentrating on the servers that fail completely.
    Installation is from the Discovery Wizard and I have about 20 servers that fail of various server versions.
    So looking at one specific server that is failing to install the agent - a 2008 standard service pack 2
    The firewall in on and file and printer sharing is enabled for domain, remote administration is enabled for domain
    I added a specific rule to allow TCP 5723 and 5724
    DCOM is enabled
    I can Ping the target server from the SCOM server by both name and FQDN - both return the same IP and our DNS server has only one entry for this server
    I can browse to the admin share \\server\C$ from the SCOM Server, using the same account that I specify for the agent install that is a domain admin with rights on this server (and on the other servers the agent
    did install to) and the server has plenty of disk space available
    I am not sure what else to look at so would welcome any ideas
    Thanks

    Hi Petro,
    I have a Agent installation failure cheat sheet, For your error 80070035 it is said to perform a manual installation.
    So i would like to understand which version of SCOM is this ? 2007 R2 or 2012 or 2012 r2 ?
    Also check if your agents have the WMI service started and enabled ?
    Also if yours is a SCOM 2007 R2 do you have a RMS & MS in your management group ? If yes then Pushing the agent installation from MS may cause such issue. So would suggest you push the installation from RMS.
    Also check if your Network connectivity meets the minimum requirement as recommended by SCOM. Below is applicable for Both SCOM 2007 R2 & SCOM 2012 & 2012 R2.

    Also check if you have any Anti virus / Firewall which is blocking the install / communication. If yes disabe or add the "Monitoringhost.exe to the safe list or what your feature is.
    Check if you have another IP assigned to the NIC card and remove it tempraurly andchecl.
    Also post the event logs of the Agents which are in not monitored state for analysis.

    1.  Check the PATH environment variable.  If the PATH statement is very long, due to lots of installed third party software - this can
    fail.  Reduce the path by converting any long filename destinations to 8.3, and remove any path statements that are not necessary.
    2.  The cause
    could be corrupted Performance Counters on the target Agent.
    To rebuild all Performance counters including extensible and third party counters in Windows Server 2003, type the following commands at a command
    prompt. Press ENTER after each command.
    cd
    \windows\system32
    lodctr /R
    Note /R is uppercase.
    Windows Server 2003 rebuilds all the counters because it reads all the .ini files in the C:\Windows\inf\009 folder for the English operating system.

    This problem occurs if the LockFileTime.txt file is located in the following folder on the remote computer:
    %windir%\422C3AB1-32E0-4411-BF66-A84FEEFCC8E2
    When you install or remove a management agent, the Operations Manager 2007 management server copies temporary files to the remote computer. One
    of these files is named LockFileTime.txt. This lock file is intended to prevent another management server from performing a management agent installation at the same time as the current installation. If the management agent installation is unsuccessful and
    if the management server loses connectivity with the remote computer, the temporary files may not be removed. Therefore, the LockFileTime.txt may remain in the folder on the remote computer. When the management server next tries to perform an agent installation,
    the management server detects the lock file. Therefore, the management agent installation is unsuccessful.

    I've followed this topics without luck.
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Al … sound_card
    https://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail … 05092.html
    https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentatio … Models.txt
    First I worked around alsa sound state, it doesn't work, then I tried to point my laptop model in «/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf» file:
    options snd-hda-intel model=toshiba
    options snd-hda-intel index=0
    options bt87x index=-2
    options cx88_alsa index=-2
    options saa7134-alsa index=-2
    options snd-atiixp-modem index=-2
    options snd-intel8x0m index=-2
    options snd-via82xx-modem index=-2
    options snd-usb-audio index=-2
    options snd-usb-caiaq index=-2
    options snd-usb-ua101 index=-2
    options snd-usb-us122l index=-2
    options snd-usb-usx2y index=-2
    options snd-pcsp index=-2
    options snd-usb-audio index=-2
    And last I've tried to load Realtek modules in «/etc/modules-load.d/alsa.conf» file:
    snd
    snd_hda_intel
    snd_hda_codec
    snd_pcm
    snd_page_alloc
    snd_timer
    snd_hwdep

    And here is that commands shows this sesion:

    My next step is go into kernel but I think it's better to ask here first.
    I have to say that before Arch it had installed Ubuntu 10.04 with OSS (problems with keyboard sound keys with alsa), lately before change to Arch I must to restart sound system before it works frequently with this procedure; «soundoff», then «soundon» absolutly freezes the laptop so I had to turn off it and turn on again, then «rm /usr/lib/oss/starting», and last «soundon», then it sometimes works.
    Now my only way to have sound is to restart the system time and time again until it works.
    Thanks for your advices.

    Maybe two kernel modules that try to control the same piece of hardware, but how can I know what modules are?
    Blacklisting [https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ke … acklisting]
    Blacklisting, in the context of kernel modules, is a mechanism to prevent the kernel module from loading. This could be useful if, for example, the associated hardware is not needed, or if loading that module causes problems: for instance there may be two kernel modules that try to control the same piece of hardware, and loading them together would result in a conflict.
    Some modules are loaded as part of the initramfs. mkinitcpio -M will print out all autodetected modules: to prevent the initramfs from loading some of those modules, blacklist them in /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf. Running mkinitcpio -v will list all modules pulled in by the various hooks (e.g. filesystem hook, SCSI hook, etc.). Remember to add that .conf file to the FILES section in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf (if you have not done so already) and rebuild the initramfs once you have blacklisted the modules, and to reboot afterwards.
    # mkinitcpio -M

  • Finding the logical path

    How to find the logical filename for the given ARCHIVE object.
    I want to know the logical file name of FI_FICA object.
    Can any one guide me.
    Thanks,
    Shree

    Hi Sree,
    I don't have SAP system right now to check it.
    I think if you know the physical path, logical path can be found.
    Please check this thread for further reference.
