Receivables - ARDLP Report Not Printing Country Name

AR Report ARDLP for concurrent program Dunning Letter Generate is not printing Country Name on send to and remit to part of the letter. Though the package 'arp_addr_label_pkg.format_address' is giving the output with the country name(when I ran the package in SQL Developer) but when I run the report it is not giving the country name. What could be the reason?

Thankyou very much Nagamohan. It is printing the country now on the dunning letters. I think it was because of settings in system options though the default country was set, print home country was unchecked. When I reran the process it printed the country.
The Statement print program also had the same issue. Now after the changing the system options, it is printing the country in the send to address but not in the remit to address if the countries are same for both send to and remit to. If they are different it is printing in both the places. Eg. If it is United Kingdom in both send to and remit to, its printing only in send to. If its united states in send to and united kingdom in remit to then its printing in the remit to area. Any idea on this?

I am using form script to print payment advice as correspondence and below is script (SAP standard) I am using in element "Address". My client has the requirement that even if the vendor is local (of same country) then also in the address data COUNTRY NAME should be printed.
I understand there is some conceptual logic due to which for local country addresses country name is not printed.

Invoice print country name

Dear Experts:
When printing invoice to customer, the country name will be printed in last line.
When the customer is EU country, the country name will not be printed in last line.
"Print country name" flag is set in OY01.
How can I print EU country name in last line on invoice ??

Hi,
What i understand of this is that you can either select - EU country or Print Country Name.
Since European countries dont print country names at the last line of the address, i believe you wont be able to print EU country in the last line based on standard settings.

I cannot print anything from Photoshop CS5. I always get the message:

I'm using Mac OS 10.6.8, with 8 GB RAM. I have tried setting memory usage to 100% of RAM (7379 MB for me). The "Ideal Range" is 4058-5313 MB. I cannot print anything, not even a 20 kB file because I always get that error message.
I've tried unistalling & reinstalling, just to see if that did anything. It didn't help.
Does anyione have any ideas for what the problem is?

(I don't have a problem printing from any other programs, like Gimp, but I want to print from Photoshop because of they way it allows you to adjust what part of the image you print when you are cropping the image during printing.)

That is never a good idea. You're starving the OS of RAM. Try pulling it back to 70% or less.
Also, clarify how much disk space you have left on your boot drive and on your scratch drive.

I want to show the workflow notification messages through fnd_messages in application developer. Now, the issue is I am able to get the message as entered in message dictionary but not able to print the Name of the attribute .
for ex: from the below code MESSAGE 3 is an acknowledgement message which will show the approver name to which the po no has been routed . in the application developer the attribute &APPR_NAME is mentioned but when the workflow is triggered the notification does not print the name of the approver in specified attribute .

You are essentially trying to include an attribute inside an attribute, which is not going to work.
If you know what the attribute names are going to be, then you can use the standard SQL REPLACE function in your code to replace the attribute name with the current value. That would allow you to make the content flexible in terms of the wording in the FND message, but not allow you to add / modify the attributes included in the message without revisiting the PL/SQL code and including the new attributes in there to replace.
Alternatively, you would need to look at making the search and replace of the attribute name truly dynamic - parse the body of the message to find the name of the attribute in there to replace and do that replacement. However, this isn't straightforward by any means - it's easy to find the start of the attribute name, because it begins with an ampersand. But how do you find the end of the attribute name - the following character after an attribute name could be a space or any punctuation mark. Then, how do you know whether the attribute is called (for example) &ATTR1 or &ATTR1? or &ATTR1. ?
For simplicity, I would go with the first of these - without a massive amount of thought, the second is an intensive, complex idea.

XML Publisher report not printing German character ü properly

We have a BI PU Report which gets the XML from the 10g report.
When I run the report in Oracle Apps, the XML generated by the report has the correct name, but the pdf output doesnot show the correct name on it.
Name (in XML file): *<FSE_NAME>Kühn, Thomas</FSE_NAME>*
Name printed on pdf output: KÃ¼hn, Thomas
This issue doesnot occur when I run the report on the local system using the xml file and rtf template.
Please let me know if anyone has any idea about this issue. Attached is the xml file, rtf template and the pdf output.

Transaction Register Report not printing Correctly

Web Report not printing the fiscal year period variable value

Hi,
In web report where in one text element, we enabled the fiscal year period variable value to display
in the report result.
If we run the report then this fiscal year period is displaying in the general information.
We have print button (Java Code), where user can take a printout of the same report.
In the printout this Fiscal year period is NOT PRINTING, other variables like rollup time, technical name of report etc are printing perfectly.
It is required to print the fiscal period also in the print out of the report.
Any help to come out of this.....

Mail does not print attachment name & prints small

When printing an email, if it has an attachment, it does not print the attachment name. It prints the icon of the attachment (excel, word, psd, etc.) but it doesn't print the name of the file under it. This started happening since upgrading to Mavericks.
Also, emails are printing much smaller. Is there a way to enlarge the font when printing?

The same here and quite a lot of other Mail bugs - and all since the new MacPro and Mavericks, no such problems with Mavericks on the MacBookPro 2011 though
Sometimes the file names are printed, sometimes not and there is no way to find out why - it happens on and off with own mails to be sent and mails received.
Workaround for own mails is put each file underneath the other with some distance from the last word. Workaround in case of customer mails received go to reply, edit signature on top, reduce to one page and hope .... sometimes it works.
Also: on and off, Preview will show and printer will print only header on the first page, then body text on the second - only workaround to date (and believe me, I've tried everything) is use Reply, eliminate your own signature and reduce the printed area to less than a page
Also: long mails with back-and-forth messages may print a line half on one page and lower half on second one .... no workaround here.
Seems Mail is going to A4 US instead of A4 small (Europe), though this is not what the printer and the system or Word etc. are set to.
And a sneaking suspicion, that it works ok with people sending me mails from a Mac, but not from a Windows box ... can't bother all my customers though and ask
So please Apple - lots of people have the same problems - will you finally do something about it ... and yes I used the Feedback function

PLD cant print Country name when I link country code field to OCRY variable

Dear Experts,
I am using PLD, and from the database variable OCRD we have the OCRD.Country field which returns a Country Code, I link it to a OCRY.Name database variable, hoping this variable can print me the country name.
However, it doesn't, what am I missing here? Is it a PLD bug?

The link to is slightly different.
Say if you added a database field to a layout such as contact name. Next to the contact name you may have a text field that contains the text "Contact:" This will look on the layout like
Contact: Joe Bloggs
You can link the "Contact:" text field to the field ID of the database field, if you do that and the database field is empty then the text "Contact:" will not show.
There are a few other uses, you can link a field to a formula field, an example might be that a customer wants to show a big logo on page 1 of documents, if it runs on to multiple pages show a smaller logo. Here you can add the following fields.
1. A big picture field showing the logo
2. A smaller picture field showing the logo
3. A formula field that calculates if the page number equals 1
4. A formula field that calculates if the page number does not equal 1
Link the big picture to field 3 and the smaller picture to field 4.
There are many other scenarios, but both the Link To functionality and the Relate To functionality are useful.

On Demand sub report not printing in IE and Other Browsers

Hi All,
We have developed Crystal report for our web application with version 13.0 and Visual Studio 2010.
When we run our web app in IIS report display fine in All web browser and when we print report in ActiveX mode in IE 9+ for main report it prints fine but if we print on demand sub report it not printing even a single page out of 2 or more than 2 page.
If on demand sub report has only one page then it will print in IE 9+ browser.
Even If we click on Export button on demand sub report easily export to pdf or any formate the issue while we print it.
It going to hanged while we print on demand sub report with more than one page.
Please help in this issue.

PLD:Print country name in 'Bill To' & 'Ship To' Address

Hi.
I want to print "Bill To" & "Ship To" address but the problem is that it is printing country code instead of country name.
Is there any solution?

To set the default address format for a country go to Administration -> Setup -> Business Partners -> Countries and choose an Address Format.
The system will use the address format based on the BP Bill to country so let's say you create an Invoice for a customer who's Bill To country is UK, then in the address field on the invoice the address format set up under Countries for UK will be used - so if you set this address format under Address Formats for UK to display the Description, on this invoice you will see United Kingdom instead of UK.

Clock type symbol and pending on report not printing how do I remove

HP Photo smart 6510 network printer print from Lumina Windows phone working fine for over week
suddenly not printing. Checked status at e center and items are pending with a clock like symbol next to them,
How can I remove this symbol and could this be stopping my printing. Previous items do not have symbol and have printed, Thanks

What is the subject for the pending job?
The clock icon makes me think that this is a scheduled delivery app trying to print and it is stuck in pending.
The best solution for this is to cancel the pending jobs and the them perform a network reboot.
1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of your router, then power off the printer. Wait about 20 seconds.
2. Reconnect the power cord to your router, wait 30 seconds, and turn the printer back on.
After performing those steps, try to use your ePrint again and let me know if it works.

Report not printing from server

hi i am using vs 2008 and crystal report 115.7.620
I am using the report to print cheque without preview. I am suing DNN version 5.4.2.
i am using the printtoprinter function.
iwhen i click on the print button i get this error.
I am accessing from a server where i have deployed the dnn website. Crystal report is installed onteh serve too.
am i missing something.?
