Get 500 Internal Server Error message when attempting to open Firefox.
Firefox working fine until last week. Cannot connect. Only receive error message. Uninstalled & re-installed. Same error message. Windows 7, Zone Alarm. Explorer 8.
Hi,
According to your description, there is a 500 internal server error when you select any Option in your OWA.
Based on my research, we can try the following steps:
1. Check whether Virtual Directories Authentication configured properly. Enable the ECP Virtual Directory with Anonymous and Basic Authentication.
2. Check on the Application Pools to view whether ECP Application Pool is running on .NET Framework v4.0. It maybe the incompletely installation of Framework that causes this error.
If so, We can try to run the following command as Administrator:
%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -i
Or change the MSExchangeECPAppPool from .NET Framework from v4.0 to v2.0. Then restart IIS.
If you have any question, please do not hesitate to tell me.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,

500 Internal Server Error message with youtube viewing
Ok. Here's the issue. Many-but-not-every-time I'm using Safari and go to youtube to view videos I click on to view and this message comes up instead of the video: 500 Internal Server Error and then a page full of computer code.
This has just started to do this. How do I correct this problem?I read about these reports often...
http://forums.techguy.org/multimedia/671802-youtube-500-internal-server-error.ht ml

Still, if you think it might be on your end, I think you should get Applejack...
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19596
After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 5 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files!
Disconnect the USB cable from any UPS so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
Then... Try putting these numbers in Network>TCP/IP>DNS Servers, for the Interface you connect with...
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Then Apply
DNS Servers are a bit like Phone books where you look up a name and it gives you the phone number, in our case, you put in apple.com and it comes back with 17.149.160.49 behind the scenes.
These Servers have been patched to guard against DNS poisoning, and are faster/more reliable than most ISP's DNS Servers. -
500 internal server error message
I get a 500 internal server error when trying to download Lion. Any ideas? Apple's server maybe down?
I started downloading Lion and paused the installation. When I was about to restart I received a 500 error - tried turning off Macbook Pro, closing App Store to no avail. Finally called Tech. Support and was advised to check for Software Updates which she mentioned has a buffering update. Sure enough there were 2 updates & installed them and when I get to the App Store I was able to download Lion again. Hopes this helps.

Could firefox be responsible for a Picasa 500 Internal Server Error message
For the last 5 to six days I have been unable to access my Web Albums on Picasa. I keep getting a 500-Internal server message . This sort of co-incides with my getting and morevoer using a gmail address. I am going squiffy-eyed trying to find a solution on the Picasa Forum pages. I just wonder if Mozilla can help.
500 internal server error is a server error, not a browser. If it is ac cached page please use this article[[How to clear the Firefox cache]]
A quick way to check this:
Reload the webpage while bypassing the cache using '''one''' of the following steps:
*Hold down the ''Shift'' key and click the ''Reload'' button with a left click.
OR
*Press ''Ctrl'' + ''F5'' or ''Ctrl'' + ''Shift'' + ''R'' (Windows and Linux)
*Press ''Command'' + ''Shift'' + ''R'' (Mac)
Let us know if this solves the issues you are having. -
I am receiving "500 Internal Server Error" whenever I use Firefox
I have un-installed, cleaned my registry, restarted, done all the cache etc. and still after re-installing I receive a 500 Internal Server Error.
Firefox is my favourite browser, I'd hate to lose it.Ajay Sharma wrote:

should I run this after shutting down the application tier ?
Regards,
AjayBefore you run AutoConfig, please compile the JSP files as per the doc referenced above and see if this helps (stop the application services, compile the JSP pages, then start the application services).
You can run AutoConfig while the application services are up, but you need to restart after AutoConfig is done.

Why does the message '500 internal server error' appear when I use any search engine?
I am able to type a web address and use the internet successfully but when using ANY search engine I get the '500 internal server error' message. This appears if I type in a word to search '''bold text'''and the result is the error message. I have recently uninstalled rapport and hitman pro. Please help.
Did you check your security software (firewall)?
Which security software (firewall) do you have?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

500 Internal Server Error in EP 7.0
Hello SDN Gurus,
I've a question about viewing detailed errors. I've got two NW04s Ent. Portal (Test and production).
I get detailed error (Error summary) in my test portal, but in the production server i couldn't get details, only "500 Internal Server Error" message. Support package levels and domains are same. Only difference is production server has two application servers.
I've tried with FQDN and with IP only, nothing changed. How can i fix that and see detailed error in production server.
For example in the test portal ;

In the production portal;
500 Internal Server Error
Failed to process request. Please contact your system administrator.
Thanks in advance

A.K.Hi,
I think you are accessing the portal via one of the dialog instance and not using the Central instance.So you are not getting the error displayed in iview. If you want to activate navigate to system administration-system configuration-services and in portal runtime central configuration open the object and in portal .runtime .print cause .exception make it to true and restart the service. This may be for print but some where here in the services you can activate that.
For productive environment detailed exception is not recommended.Administrator can see the error log in
log files.
Thanks and regards,

SRM MDM catalog items not checking back to EBP ("500 Internal Server Error")
Hi All,
We are having an issue, ONLY with our PRODUCTION environment.
When we create a Shopping Cart and select items from an Internal catalogue, we cannot check the items back into SRM without the system throwing the "500 Internal Server Error" message. As the items never even reach SRM, there is nothing to check or display in the queues for anything even remotely helpful.
As mentioned above, the issue is only happening in our Production environment. We have tested using the production MDM webservice details in our PreProd environment and everything works flawlessly, so the issue very likely arises from our Production portal.
System info:
We have SRM 7.2; SRM MDM 3.0 and SAP Netweaver portal 7.1.
The users are using IE9 but the same happens on IE8 as well.
We have checked and all MDM applications are running.
We have done all the compatibility checks too given in https://scn.sap.com/thread/1075870 and https://scn.sap.com/thread/1836750 .
I have attached the logs.
Nothing helped so far, so we are hoping maybe either of you can.
Thanks in advance,
NikiHi Jason,
So in the end SAP gave a response that worked.
We actually had to delete the BYPASS_INB_HANDLER parameter and change our URL slightly. That helped and now the items check back in to EBP without issues.
The strange thing is that we still have that parameter in every other environment and yet it still works flawlessly, only causing issues in PROD. We are waiting on a response from them to ellaborate why... I am going to share when they respond.
Thank you for all the help!
Bests,

Get ‘500 Internal Server Error’ during SIP INVITE - cause 44
Have you ever seen anything like this before? It usually works, but intermittently, we see calls get rejected. It somehow seems related to high loads on the router. We reduced the occurrences by changing our code to throttle the number of SIP INVITEs we send, but this doesn’t scale well. Once it occurs, the only way to clean it up is to do a shut/no shut on the voice-port associated to SIP INVITE.
Any suggestions on how we can proceed to debug this issue?

-JohnSince it appears you are a Cisco Employee, my recommendation is that you use the many internal resource available to you (including, but not limited to) , like TAC access, internal forums, team leaders, etc.
This not to give the casual reader, the impression that the best source of support at Cisco is a customer's public forum. -
AS2 Tutorial Getting (500) Internal Server error.
When attempting to run the AS2 Tutorial for BizTalk 2006 R2 I am getting a "(500) Internal Server error" message. Everthing looks set up OK per the following walkthrough. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb743306.aspx
Hi Eric,
I am getting following error while executing Sender.exe as per the AS2 Tutorial instructions:
Unhandled Exception: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: <500> Internal Server Error.
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
at Ms.Test.BizTalk.Edi.As2.HttpSender.Send() in Installation Path\SDK\AS2 Tutorial\Sender\HttpSender.cs:line 249
at Ms.Test.BizTalkEdi.As2.HttpSender.Main(String[] args) in Installation Path\Sender\HttpSender.cs:line 92
Line 249 in the .cs file is:
HttpWebResponse hrpWebResponse = (HttpWebResponse)hrWebRequest.GetREponse();
Line 92 is:
Stream SyncResponse = TestSender.Send();
I am doing an Asynchronous MDN send and here are the lines before line 92:
Stream sr = new FileStream(getBizTalkInstallPath() + @SDK\AS2 Tutorial\X12_00401_864.edi", FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read);
I have installed BizTalk Server on one machine and the SQL Server 2008 on another machine. Could this possibly be the reason for the error?
Thanks!! -
Error 500 - Internal server error when trying to upload images to website
I have been unsuccessful in my many attempts to upload images to the bustalk website. I keep getting an Error 500 - Internal server error message asking me to try again later but the fault is still repeated.
I have only found two that work correctly. They were created the same way and permissions are the same. I don't know why one works over the other.
