She doesn't have admin privileges, so when I tried to install Firefox 4 in her account, I had to authenticate with my admin identity and PW. Installation went smoothly after that. My guess is that you could also simply create a new account on the same machine and install Firefox 4 from that. I have no idea why this works.

Constantly getting error code when trying to install Photoshop CC!
I have been trying for the past hour to attempt to re-install CC. My PC had an error and had to go back to the last saved good image, and that was, unfortunately, before CC was installed. (Which was on the 10th) I have removed, reinstalled, etc. The cloud app multiple times as well as used the cloud cleaner. Along with that, I have gone into the appdata file on my PC and deleted the database file for the cloud app but still no luck once-so-ever. I have checked for remnants of the original CC file and can find nothing at all! The error code I am getting is below:

I haven't owned any other copy of photoshop but CS2 a long time ago! Got out of it but coming back because I miss the creative freedom it allowed with website, content, personal documentation, photo, and artwork design! So I'm sorely disappointed at the issue right now, I seriously want to subscribe to the PS bundle, but it's just not going to happen if I can't even get it to install! Plus all this talk about fun stuff to do and re-learn in Photoshop is getting me even more impatient! Vicious circle, I tell ya!

Error message when trying to update Photoshop?
Hello, I recently purchased Adobe Photoshop CS6 (extended) and when I go to 'Help' and then 'Updates' it starts to check for updates. Then I get the error message 'the update server is not responding. the server might be offline temporarily, or the internet or firewall settings may be incorrect'.
Photoshop Version 13.0 x32
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1

RickHi R_Kelly. I contacted Adobe Support "chat' and they got me to download Adobe Application Manager (A.A.M) and install it and this resolved the issue. They reasoned that it must've been corrupt files but that doesn't sound too logical to me. (The photoshop I purchased is a new product recently installed).
Note that it was A.A.M that was handling the update via 'Help, Updates' in photoshop in the first place.

Hello. I am receiving "error codes" when trying to dowload songs. It charges me but the songs never download and I have restarted itunes and it does not automatically start downloading as instructed online. Help?
I don't know exactly what they said b/c they are nolonger on my screen. It said something to the effect of "incomplete dowload, there was an eror during the dowload of *Song*".
The songs purchased were showing in my purchased list with an "exclamation point" by them, which I believe indicates the download was incomplete. I restarted iTunes and the songs are no longer on my "Purchased list".

Repair iTunes Security Permissions
Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Securitytab and click Advanced. Use the Change Permissions... button grant to your account (or the Users group) and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to Replace permissions entries... which will repair permissions throughout the library. When complete switch to the General tab, click in the Read-only check box to clear it, then click Apply.
If you don't have the option to change the permissions then use the Owner tab and Edit... button to take ownership from an account with administrator privileges. Tick the option to Replace owner on subcontainers and objects.
Repeat with the media folder if it isn't stored inside the main iTunes folder.
If you've brought over the library from another computer you may also want to remove any "mystery" identities (S<string of dashes & digts>) that have come over from the old computer...
