Receive Form Submission Via E-mail

I am a bit confused on how to receive the form completed on my website.
I have created the form within FormsCentral and I am ready to embed it.  I want a customer to be able to fill the form out on my website, click Submit and that form or the form data they input e-mailed to a specific e-mail address within my company.  Is that possible??

This functionality is not supported by FormsCentral.  To create a form that does what you are asking you can use Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Designer to create a pdf file that uses email submissions.  FormsCentral only supports submitting forms data to our servers.

  • How can I receive Apple alert via iCloud mail system?

    Currently my login ID is the same as my Gmail address.
    So, my Apple alert (that lets me know about my account info change or new login) comes to my Gmail inbox.
    However, I want to receive these stuff via iCloud mail so that I can collect my Apple alert in my iCloud mailbox.
    How can I do this?
    I'm now using my iCloud mail address with my account of which name is my Gmail address.
    Or, if possible, I want to use only my iCloud mail address as my main ID and totally get rid of my Gmail address from my Apple account.
    Plz give me a tip.
    Have a nice day.

    If you don't know your ID, you can try to find it as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625.  If you don’t know your password you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617.

  • HT201209 I received a gift via e-mail and can't redeem it

    I received in yahoo (and have before). redeeming these is inconsistant, occasionally they open automatically and download. More often they ask for a code and/or refuse to open I-tunes throught the link in the gift, eventually leading me to open my desktop Itunes where it asks for a code, which I still don't have.

    When you tap on the open document in the email, there should be a "Done" button that appears in the upper left corner and you tap that to close the document. If you are not seeing that - the document may have frozen - so quit mail and restart the iPad.
    To quit or close apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

  • Form help - receiving responses via e-mail (Acrobat 9 Pro Extended)

    I have created a "test" form in Acrobat.  The question fields are proprietary content and thus security is set such that the recipient cannot copy, change, or print the form.  The answer fields are drop-downs with A - D options.  I have sent the form to myself as a test and all that works properly.  I need to be able to receive completed forms via e-mail (or just the data if that works) but need to eventually be able to export (or copy) each response set, in order, into MSExcel.  When I tried to send the completed form via e-mail, it indicates the form cannot be saved (obviously due to security settings) and thus the changes (answers) will not be part of the form - only the original with the default answers.
    How can I enable responders to send me the test answers via e-mail, without compromising the proprietary nature of the form's content?
    Also, I would prefer not to use the Adobe on-line repository because, as I understand it, gives the user access to the form via the web.
    I do have a web site in which I could host the test and allow users to access it, take the test, and then submit the answers.
    THANKS!!!!

    I finally got our webmaster to put the link to the form online so that I could test the form. It is not sending to the address specified. I have setup the Submit button as follows: in the window under Enter a URL for this link: the URL was input as MailTo: [email protected] (there is a space between MailTo: and the e-mail address). After submitting Outlook 2k3 sends back an undeliverable message. Is the space in the URL causing the issue or is it something I need to run by our security people due to the way the form is being submitted?
    Many thanks,
    Mike

    I wanted to check the following, but the URL is not found, you have another one?

        4. Visit http://my-site.com/scripts/form_check.php in a web browser and make sure you see all green checkmarks. If some items do not display green checkmarks that means that the hosting server is not configured correctly to allow the Form widgets to send email messages to the address you've specified.
                    Contact your web-hosting provider about the server configuration problem. Describe the items that are not marked as green in the form check page, so that they can help you set up the servers to use the correct settings.

  • Query on email message via dreamweaver mail form

    Hello All,
    First time I've done a mail form so not sure if this is what is supposed to happen. When an email is received via the mail form it has 'submit submit' at the bottom of the message and I'd like to get rid of it if poss.
    The code is:
    <div id="form"><form id="contactform" name="contactform" method="post" action="FormToEmail.php">
          <label>Your Name:<br />
    <input name="name" type="text" id="name" />
    <br />
    </label>
      <br />
      <label>Your Email Address:<br />
    <input name="email" type="text" id="email" />
      </label>
      <br />
      <br />
      <label>Your Message:<br />
    <textarea name="message" cols="50" rows="10" id="message"></textarea>
      </label>
      <br />
      <br />
      <input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Submit" />
    And the php is:
    $errors = array();
    // Remove $_COOKIE elements from $_REQUEST.
    if(count($_COOKIE)){foreach(array_keys($_COOKIE) as $value){unset($_REQUEST[$value]);}}
    // Check all fields for an email header.

    else
    foreach($element_value as $value){if($set){break;} recursive_array_check_header($value);}
    recursive_array_check_header($_REQUEST);

    if(!(isset($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']) && !empty($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']) && stristr($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'],$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']))){$errors[] = "You must enable referrer logging to use the form";}
    // Check for a blank form.
    function recursive_array_check_blank($element_value)
    global $set;
    if(!is_array($element_value)){if(!empty($element_value)){$set = 1;}}
    else

    if(!$set){$errors[] = "You cannot send a blank form";}
    unset($set);

    if(count($errors)){foreach($errors as $value){print "$value<br>";} exit;}
    if(!defined("PHP_EOL")){define("PHP_EOL", strtoupper(substr(PHP_OS,0,3) == "WIN") ? "\r\n" : "\n");}
    // Build message.
    function build_message($request_input){if(!isset($message_output)){$message_output ="";}if(!is_array($request_input)){$message_output = $request_input;}else{foreach($request_input as $key => $value){if(!empty($value)){if(!is_numeric($key)){$message_output .= str_replace("_"," ",ucfirst($key)).": ".build_message($value).PHP_EOL.PHP_EOL;}else{$message_output .= build_message($value).", ";}}}}return rtrim($message_output,", ");}
    $message = build_message($_REQUEST);
    $message = $message . PHP_EOL.PHP_EOL."-- ".PHP_EOL."";
    $message = stripslashes($message);
    $subject = "TOP FLOOR WEBSITE ENQUIRY";
    $headers = "From: " . $_REQUEST['email'];
    mail($my_email,$subject,$message,$headers);
    ?>
    Thanks alot in advance

    Wow. Not much defeats legibilty quite as well as avoiding line feeds and indention in recursive code! (and inserting multiple blank lines? Was that this online editor?)
    Anyway, I did not test this, but try replacing your build_message function,
    function build_message($request_input){if(!isset($message_output)){$message_output ="";}if(!is_array($request_input)){$message_output = $request_input;}else{foreach($request_input as $key => $value){if(!empty($value)){if(!is_numeric($key)){$message_output .= str_replace("_"," ",ucfirst($key)).": ".build_message($value).PHP_EOL.PHP_EOL;}else{$message_output .= build_message($value).", ";}}}}return rtrim($message_output,", ");}
    With this:
    function build_message($request_input) {
      if(!isset($message_output)) {
        $message_output ="";
      if(!is_array($request_input)) {
        $message_output = $request_input;
      else{
        foreach($request_input as $key => $value) {
          if(!empty($value)) {
            if(!is_numeric($key)) {
              $message_output .= str_replace("_"," ",ucfirst($key)).": ".build_message($value).PHP_EOL.PHP_EOL;
            else {
              if ($key != strtolower('submit') {
                $message_output .= build_message($value).", ";
      return rtrim($message_output,", ");
    (Added condition for 'submit')
    Also, I highly recommend replacing all those $_REQUEST with $_POST or $_GET, whichever is appropriate for your form.

  • Safari web page sent via apple mail to entourage - block submission

    .. at this point, I'm just wondering what it is about a web page sent via Apple Mail (great feature!) which causes Entourage to display the warning "For your security, Entourage will block submission of this form"? ..
    .. in particular, what are the file types in this kind of message via Apple Mail which need to be "allowed" in the Entourage Attachment Policy .plist? ..
    .. a side note - even the microsoft entourage support webpage dealing with this issue sent via Apple Mail was blocked! ..

    You're suffering from two common misconceptions.
    1. You will never get a response from Apple when you submit a crash report. The reports are used internally, if at all.
    2. This is not Apple tech support. This is a forum provided by Apple for users of its products to discuss technical issues among themselves. No one here represents Apple or knows anything about your contacts with Apple. If you want support from Apple, click the Support link at the top of this page.

    Trouble opening pdf's - I have received several pdf's from a friend via e-mail (Thunderbird). Some of them open just fine but others give me the message: "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired." My friend made sure that the files in question opened without issue on his computer (a PC). Further, I was able to open one of these "damaged" files on my Android phone, but I cannot open them on the Macbook Air. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Back up all data.
    Triple-click the line of text below to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
    In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder
    from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
    From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
    The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present.
    If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
    If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

  • Submit button on Android doesn't submit completed form via e-mail

    We've created a form in Adobe Acrobat Pro with a submit button using the "mailto:" command.  When we are in the android app and click the button, the e-mail script works fine, but it doesn't send the actual file, just a blank e-mail.  Any advice?  I've seen some older posts saying java scripts aren't supported, but they were older posts.  Has this been addressed or is there a workaround to submit the completed forms via e-mail (with an added service or expense)?

    When you write this
    > but it doesn't send the actual file, just a blank e-mail
    do you mean that it sends an email with a blank form attached?
    If this is the case, this is currently as-designed, since your button has two actions: one that submits the form and one that resets the form.  Because emailing on an Android device is asynchronous, by the time the email is constructed by the mail app of choice, the reset form action has already executed and as a result, you end up sending a blank form.
    I will look into the Android mail APIs to find out if we can make the behavior synchronous, that is, the reset form action will not execute until AFTER the submit form action has fully completed.  In the meantime, you can work around this by separating the submit & reset button into two separate buttons: one that submits, and one that resets.  Users will tap the submit button to submit and then have to tap the reset button after submit completes to reset the form.
    Hope this helps,
    Darrell

    This is regarding CBMA in single stack SAP PI 7.3.1. I have set up the alert mail using default java mail client.I do receive the alerts via mail. But my requirement is to direct all the alert mails to Business workplace inbox in ECC.

    Hi,
    yes, it is a little bit different. This is the issue.....
    But I am not sure if your links will help:
    1) /people/william.li/blog/2008/02/13/sap-pi-71-mapping-enhancements-series-using-graphical-variable
    is about a different solution. I do not need to count the number of lines of the source message.
    And the second variable is about concat line by line from unbound node to unbound node.
    My issue is:
    Souce:
    Message line (0...unbound) ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
    .    ResultLine   (1..1)
    Mapping:
    =>   ResultLine1
           ResultLine2
           ResultLine........          => into UDF to an element  (1..1) in one mapping operation.
    So that all "ResultLine"s are included.
    The result is explained in the given link for Mail attachment with UDF.
    So I am not sure how to use this thread for my issue.
    In the comments of that blog Christoph Gerber writes that the new variable feature can only handle single values.
    So it is not suitable for my purposes as I have a list of values here that needs to be moved into the target message field.
    2) http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Java/UsingEditJavaSectioninMessageMapping
    shows where to find the button "Java section" which is not available here in 7.1
    3) /people/sap.user72/blog/2005/10/01/xi-new-features-in-sp14
    too is about the nice little button for Java Section that is no longer existing on PI 7.1 screen for mappings.
    So my issue is: How to replace the Java section function with global variables in PI 7.1?
    Best regards
    Dirk

  • Can the individual form response be sent via e-mail to us in the PDF form format (not the raw output we see currently when using e-mail notifcation) each time a user submits a reponse?

    Hi, we basically have an on-line job application that we need to be sent to us via e-mail notification every time a user submits a response, not with the raw data output from the form fields like the current e-mail notification setting allows, but as an actual PDF attachment that mirrors the format of the on-line form, with the user response data in it. We need this to be automated and sent to a central HR e-mail to distro to others. It would be essentially the same thing as a user downloading a PDF form, filling it out, then e-mailing it back to us, but using the submit options via the Form Central server instead. Is this even possible and, if so, is there any documentation on it? I have not found anything clear in searching for this same topic.

    No this is not possible within Formscentral. You could export a PDF without a submit button (an option when saving your form as PDF) and then in Acrobat add a submit button to your form and have it automatically sent to the email of your choice. This kind of workflow falls outside the scope of Formscentral.

  • Mail is no longer deleted on ISP's  server once received via mac mail- why is this happening?

    Why is mail no longer deleted on ISP's  server once received via mac mail?
    The box to delete message from ISP's server once it is downloaded is ticked in Mac Mail account's prefrences and this option in the past did delete it from the ISP's server. It no longer does this, it only moved the copy from the ISP's in box to the trash so now the recived message has to be manually removed from the ISP's trash.
    Does Apple need to supply a patch to put this right?

    Hi Log into your account via Webmail in a browser & see if you have a setting like this...

  • Store form data into a database and send via e-mail

    Hello!
    Perhaps my question is very obvious , but I dont use to program, so I hope you can understand it.
    I am creating a form in html (formulario.html) , the action for this form is to go to a jsp page (enviocorreo.jsp) that uses a javabean (SendMail.java) to send all the data entered in that form via e-mail to different people depending on the data chosen in some SELECT boxes.
    But now, I want also to store all this information into a database. And here is my question.
    Can I use another bean in enviocorreo.jsp to program the connection to the database and store the data into it?
    Or should I use the same bean SendMail.java?
    Or should I program all this code in enviocorreo.jsp?
    Hope you can clarify , since Im a bit confused about this.
    Thank you very much,

    I would recommend non of the above. Rather...
    Have the action attribute form in formulario.html call a Servlet via POST. Have the servlet both store the data and email the recipients. Then afterwards, have the if both operations (store and email) are successful, forward to enviocorreo.jsp (removing the SendMail bean as you no longer need it), or if either step fails, forward to a error page.
    All that code in a JSP is ugly. Besides, using a bean you'll have to pass some Context back and forth so the bean can do a lookup, etc. Yuch.
