I replaced the ink cartridges and now I a receiving the message that the cartridge is in the wrong position when they are not.

.xlsx files require Excel 2008 or 2011 (last two Mac versions of Office). Since you're in Lion, you must have one or the other, so they should work. Can you drag and drop onto Excel, or choose to open them from within the app?

It wasn't the 4.3.1 update but the 4.3.2 update. Itunes does not recognize the ipad. Not sure what to do to restore back to original settings.
Take the ATV to a friends house and restore via iTunes on their computer.

Actually the message stated that the version of the AVG extension you have did not support Firefox 7.0.1 or whatever version you were using at time.

Can we convert thunderbird data file in .PST?I don't think you can prevent email body text from being copied and edited.
You'd probably need to created a protected Word or PDF document, and send it as an attachment.
This is still some sort of guessing because it's still not clear to me what exactly your scenario is.
Whatever text you send in an email, regardless of whether in the body or as an attachment, the recipient will always be able to use that and distribute it further, e.g. by making a screenshot. And images can be 'photoshoped' as well.
If you want the recipient to be able to detect whether a message or an attachment has been altered on transit, you'd need to sign it. -
I have re set my password and have received confirmation that the change has been made by email.....however when I enter the new password ....the system tells me it is incorrect ????

I want to change my apple id, but I am told that the new email add is already linked to an account?
I changed email addresses some time ago, and I thought that I had updated my Apple Account. When I tried to log in with the new email addy, I got a message that this emaill addy had not been set up as an account yet. So I cancelled that message, went into my account witht the old email addy, and proceded to follow the necessary steps to change my ID.
I then received a message that the new email addy was already attached to an account. ??????????????? I tried the new email again, but it still wants me to set up new account (ie reenter all my information). How do I get my new email addy cleared from the system so I can use it on my current account?THe email address you want to use may be set as the recovery email for another account. That would prevent you from using it, until you remove it from that account.

Received msg that could not back up iphone because it has not been set up yet.I have iOS 8.02 on my iPhone 5S and Itunes 11.4.0.18 on a Windows 7 computer. iTunes is not syncing newly added music CD's. It's set to automatically import CDs when they're loaded using the AAC encoder and error correction. After they're importedm the songs and albums show up in the iTunes library, but they don't sync with my iPhone.
I've tried the following: Went to the Genius Bar at the Apple store for advice, which was useless (unusual); deleted & reinstalled iTunes; switched from syncing all music to syncing manually (and checked every song, album & genre; deleted the newly-added CDs that didn't sync and re-loaded them.
Is this an iOS 8 problem? Am I encoding incorrectly? If not AAC encoder, then what? -
I have received notification that the "Complete My Album", Music Speaks by Candice Glover is now available to download. I have three devices that are all enabled to receive automatic downloads. My problem is the same on all three devices.
Only 0.05 minutes download on each song with the exception of the original song purchase: I Am Beautiful. What needs to be done to solve this problem?It seems that I have solved my issue by performing a full factory reset (erasing all content, something which I had hoped to avoid) restoring from an iCloud backup did not alleviate the issue, I had to set up as a new iPad.
Hopefully anyone else else who has this issue in the future will be able to find this. -
I uploded the new itunes software and now my ipod touch is not getting reconized in my itunes. I went through all the trouble shooting support from apple. But I do have a avast antivirus on my computer i wonder if that is what is holding it up

Tried to open a file I created in Numbers a while ago, which I modified on 11/4/13, and got a message that I needed a newer version of Numbers. When I went to the Mac App Store it shows that the new version is already installed and there doesn't seem to be a way to reinstall it. When I checked "About Numbers" on my MacBook it shows "Numbers '09 version 2.3". Any suggestions as to how I can get the new version installed?
Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.

It seems that the new version of iPhoto will no longer share photos between computers on the same network. Can anyone confirm this?

You might also need to turn Preview generation off for any existing Projects. Select the Project in the Projects pane and use the cog button at the top of the pane to uncheck 'Maintain Previews For Project'.

I have an apple id; but when I try to sign in to iCloud, I get the msg that the apple id is not an iCloud account. However, apple was able to bill me for my non-existent iCloud account. How does that happen?
If you didn't create an iCloud account on an iOS device or Mac, you don't have one. You can't create an account on a PC. If you were charged for an iCloud storage upgrade without having an account, contact the Apple online store at the bottom of this page for a refund.

Since I'd installed the new version of iTunes, iCal and Address book do not sync with my iPhone 3GS through iTunes anymore and I get an error message stating that iTunes can not sync with this iPhone. Was must i do to correct this issue and if i must, how dI reintall iTunes without loosing my content?
