Receive Skype calls on 3cx

Hi,
I'm new to this so please forgive me if a simple step by step explanation has been given somewhere before.
I didn't found it, so feel free to point me to it.
I would like to receive my skype calls on my PBX.
That part I've found out, it is possible with skype connect.
So made an account (didn't buy anything).
I do get the message that my skype account is connected on my 3CX.
So far so good.
But whatever I do with that account (like calling it), I do not get a connection on the 3CX.
So I probably need to buy something in order to get it to work.
There are many things one can buy like skype credits and/or channels.
But what's needed?
As the page of skype connect  states "
With channels from just €4.95 (€5.69 incl. VAT) a month, you can make the most of these great prices:"
So probably I need a channel.
Do I need to pay for a channel each month only to receive incoming skype calls on my PBX?
Or is there something else needed?

Dear cdgo,
Yes, channels are required to make/receive calls; the number of channels depends on the amount of concurrent calls that you will be making, up to 300 can be purchased.  Channels have a monthly fee of $6.95/month USD.
To receive incoming calls you can purchase an Online number, if available in your country.  The current price for Online numbers is $6.30/month USD.  Also, Skype Connect is a ‘pay as you go’ service using Skype Credit (that is attached to the SIP profile), and does not support any of the Skype Client subscriptions.  Pricing information can be found at:

Please let us know if you have additional questions.
Thank you,

  • My number doesn't receive skype calls, and it's no...

    Hi everybody...
(I tried to post this message but it didn't appear, sorry if it's a duplicate)
When someone calls me to my cellphone number, it says I didn't pay my cellphone bill and can't commutate the call... I call my company and as it's expected - everything is just fine!
Is it possible that my phone number got stuck on program level somewhere at skype commutators?
One weird thing is: every day I can receive one call normally. After that it gives the error. AND! If I am calling somewhere on my phone, I can receive skype calls unlimited times...
Who do I contact in that case? I am lost...
Thanks a lot for any help!

  • Cannot make or receive Skype calls on my Samsung s...

<p>I have a Samsung s4 android cell phone. Until recently I could make and receive Skype calls but not anymore. Need help</p>

I'm sorry, but we had made so many changes (the Advisor and I) and it was only after I shared y home screen with him that he had me disable my anti-virus firewall....and everything worked fine afterwards. We went through a number of steps including removing a number of neighbors wifi signals and most important was the changing of the wifi channels. If anyone is using an Anti-virus program, I would suggest that they disable the firewall and then see if their devices connect to the same wifi.

Yesterday, I traded in my blackberry with skype mobile to a Samsung.  Since then, I've received one SMS message, but my response has been stuck in "pending" mode all day.  Also, I cannot receive or send any calls.  Any thoughts?

  • Cannot make or receive Skype calls

I can't make or receive calls using Skype. The IM still works, and actually indicates that I missed calls, but I get absolutely nothing on my end. When someone tries to call me, it rings like it should on their end apparently, it looks like to them I just don't pick up. I have absolutely no indication that anyone is calling me at all, and when I try to call out, it gives the little start-up beep at the beginning of the call, then nothing. The screen indicates it's trying to connect, but there is no ringing. I looked in the forums for similar problems and did as they suggested: Uninstalled and reinstalled Skype, deleted the dbTemp folder, installed the latest cameras and latest version of Skype (7.0), rebooted my internet connection (and it shows I have a strong connection every time!), restarted my computer, and nothing, NOT A THING works! I am getting really frustrated, as it seems like every time I call anyone from Skype there's always a problem. Until this point I have always been able to work it out on my own, but for ONCE I would simply like to sit down and make a call without ANY technical difficulties!
ANY help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try again to reset all Skype settings.
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
Next go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
    Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.

  • Skype Calls not received when MacBook Air is asleep

My MacBook Air is running Mountain Lion OS 10.8.5 with Skype 6.14. Skype video calls are received normally with notification sounds as long as the MacBook Air is not asleep. It will also receive a video call one time while asleep if Skype has first been restarted. After that when the MacBook goes back to sleep a Skype call is ignored. I haven't been able to solve this by changing Energy Saver settings in OS System Preferences or anything in Skype Preferences. I tried deleting the Skype Preferences file plist but this didn't make a difference. Could this be related to the loss of Skype sound problem widely reported? Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Update - I ended up spending about an hour on the phone with a very helpful rep from AppleCare.  He was also stumped by this problem.  We ended up solving it by using a remote screen-share app that allowed him to see what my video card was sending to the external display, and he directed me over the phone to change the settings (quite funny really - it was literally "move your mouse up a tiny bit, now click, now left, etc).
So, my problem is solved for now, albeit in a very cumbersome way.  Still amazed that there's no way to fix this properly.

  • Skype keeps crashing when making/receiving a call

When I make a call or receive a call on Skype it crashes. It seems to happen when either party clicks answer. IMs work fine but can't use the program for its main function.
    Running Skype 7.0.0.102
Tried reinstalling still experiencing the problem.
Deleting the folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Skype does resolve the issue but it is only a temporary solution and not how to run Skype.
    Included a DxDiag.txt file.

XSplit software is the only Video Capture device, and most likely conflicts with Skype.
    Video Capture Sources:
    XSplitBroadcaster,0x00200000,0,1,VHMediaCOM.dll,2.00.0000.0420
Try to uninstall this application. Perhaps it will just be enough to unregister VHMediaCOM.dll module:

Also, update ASUS Xonar DS Audio Device driver to the currently latest 7.12.8.1794 version.

  • Skype not receiving incoming calls and messages- only when I sign in again will I receive

My skype has been acting up after 7.6. Everytime someone calls me or messages me the first time it logs in, I wont receive a call or notification. Only when I sign out and sign back in will I get a notification saying I missed a call. But in the first place, I didn't even receive one. There was no pop up incoming call.  I also won't receive recent instant messages unless I repeatedly log in and outPlease help me find a solution. I've tried uninstaling and reinstalling 3 times already and the problem still persists . Thank you!

Do any other SIM cards work in it ? Sounds like it could be blacklisted.
Normally when a handset is blacklisted , you can send and receive SMS , but not make or receive calls.

  • Can I receive multiple calls on a skype number at ...

I am trying to work out if a skype number is working for our business.
If a call is coming in and is taken via skype by a staff member, can we receive another call? Basically having multiple calls to one skype number at the same time, picked up by different staff members via skype.
If this is not possible, what other options are there?

I have received spam calls on my Skype line a few times now.  Something about my computer speed.  A warning that if I did not act now, bad things will happen, or something like that.

  • Skype crashing on receiving/ starting call [W8.1]

Hey there Skype community, I've been having an issue lately causing my skype to crash every time I receive a call or start a call, this issue is only occuring on my computer (laptop one is working all fine). I have tried most things and read through quite a few topics here looking for the issue but can't seem to find what's wrong, so I am seeking for help here.
I've added a copy of my DxDiag txt in below as I saw it was being requested perviously on several other topics.
If you need any further information please request and I'll be more than happy to provide it.
Thank you for your time and I hope we can come to a solution.
    Some info:
I am having this issue since the start of the year.
It only appears to be happening on my desktop, not laptop or telephone.
I never had issues related to this before, some minor things but never consistent crashes.
    Thanks in advance
    Yours sincerely, Brian.

Your issue might be similar to this case:
    http://community.skype.com/t5/Windows-desktop-client/New-skype-crashes/m-p/3581133#M294654
Look for the AMDh264Enc32.dll file in this folder,
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\ATI Technologies\Multimedia\
and try to rename tis file to something different.
Also you have a screen-capture-recorder application installed. I guess that this virtual video capture device is installed with ShareX application, and the installation went wrong. I would strongly recommend to uninstall this faulty application.

  • Skype in - Receive incoming call to several phones

    Hey,
With Skype business, is it then possible to recieve an incoming call to a group and then maybe 3 Skype phones rings at the same time, and the first one who picks up the phone receives the call.
    Anyone, knows if its possible?
    Thanks

While this may be possible, remember that as soon as the call is connected, no other activity can take place.  Using Skype in this manner is not how Skype is intended to be used; I would recommend reviewing the Terms of Use before proceeding: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/legal/terms/tou/  and

  • Skype stuck on connecting during outgoing calls; not receiving any calls (version 7.7)

I have been having this problem occur a lot lately. I get on skype to talk to my friends and when I try to call them, it just keeps saying connecting. It doesn't ring nor does it say its ringing. My friends tell me through IM on skype that they aren't receiving any calls. I told them to call me. I don't receive a pop-up on the screen and I made sure I wasn't on "Do Not Disturb." I tried doing the closing out of the skype application completely and deleting the dbTemp file but that only provided me a temporary fix ONCE. Does anyone know how to fix this? My friends can call others perfectly fine. This problem persisted with me during Windows 7 and currently in Windows 10.

ive had this issue for 2 months now..... skype needs to fix thisotherwise they dont care bout there users

I have made my first Skype call and the video image I see on my computer is very dark and I am wondering if there is some way to make adjustments? Do I need to get some specific software for viewing? I don't really understand the whole thing but I sure would like to have a better quality image of the person I am speaking with.
I appreciate any help I can get! Thank you

There's nothing much you can do unless the person
