  • Problem with Send and Receive Emal In SAP System

    Hi gurus!
    I have a following quote:
    Dear !
I have a problem with send and receive email in SAP system following :
I want to test send and receive email in local network at my company. I
    had two server
Server 1 : I setup Exchange Mail Server 2007 with domain controller is
    fes.com
    Server 2 : I setup SAP ERP ECC 6.0
On Server 1 : I created 2 account ( u1Afes.com and u2Afes.com ) and then I tested send and receive email between u1 and u2 in local network through Microsoft Outlook 2007 -> OK
    and then
On Server 2: I had configured send and receive email on SAP system
through tcode SBWP, SCOT and SOST as Note 455140 - "Configuration of
e-mail, fax, paging or SMS using SMTP"
    for example :
I logged in SAP system with user Basis01 (with email u1Afes.com ) -> then, using tcode SBWP -> new message -> send to u2Afes.com with Internet Mail type and then status message with green light -> sending ok
and then I have used Microsoft Outlook 2007, I logged with account u2 ->check email -> Ok. I saw message which send from u1
Finally, My problem is how can receive mail in SAP system without using Microsoft Outlook
    For example:
Login system SAP with Basis01 account (with  u1Afes.com ) -> tcode SBWP ->New Message -> send to u2Afes.com
    and then
    Login system SAP with Basis02 account (with u2Afes.com ) -> tcode ??? ->
To receive email from Basis01 (with u1Afes.com )
    Please help me now
    Thanks
I replace "@" with "A" because of banning email of this forum.
This quote is about sending email in local network. And we can't receive any email from the outside email address. Addition if I wanna send email to internal email in Internet (we've just tried with email address in local network) What should I config in SAP and Exchange ?
By the way, Is SAP Server IP added to Relay Agent for sending or receiving mail ?

    Hi,
This problem is a classic problem of mail routing via Exchange. Exchange like most mail servers use the domain part of the email address as a means to route mails. So I will make an assumption that your main company mail addrss is "User @ fes.com".
So when you send a mail to the "User @ fes.com mail" address the mail is delivered to your Outlook mail address as this is the default route for company.
    (Q) So how do you get your Exchange server to relay the mail into the sending SAP system?
    (A) The easiest way would be to setup and unique mail domain for your SAP system. I always recommend "user @ client.sid.company.com" which in your case would be "u1 @ 100.PRD.fes.com". You can then instruct Exchange to send any emails addressed to 100.PRD.fes.com domain to your SAP system. Also using this format of address you can configure multiple mail connections into multiple SAP systems.
    (A) Another answer would be to enter the "Full" email address (LOcal and Domain part of address) into the routing rule for Exchange e.g. "U1 @ fes.com" so that all emails addressed to this user will be delivered into SAP. However this method requires a lot of Admin as you will have to update Exchange with ALL email address that need to receive emails. Also if your corporate mail address is "U1 @ fes.com" then all mails will be forwarded to SAP.
I would definitely NOT recommend this method but the decision is up to you.
P.S. The IP address of the SAP system is entered into the mail header of the email. This is standard practice in SMTP relay. You can suppress this header in Exchange
    Hope this helps

  • How to check received mails in SAP system

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where I need to send an email from Outlook to SAP system using SMTP.
All the SMTP configurations and settings have been done.
I had a query that how do I check that the mail is recieved in the SAP system.
Like we have Utilities - Overview of send orders to check the mails sent from the SAP system, do we have some place to check the receiving mails also?
I came to know about a SOOD table, but no entry is been made in it when I test sending mail.
Any help would be highly appreciated
    Regards,
    Saumya

    Hi Saumya,
You can try this just to see if your CRM is receiving emails.
Go to t-code SCOT and then Utilities->Trace Settings. Activate the trace for inbox.
Then send an email to your CRM system.
Wait a few seconds and then go to SCOT again, and then Utilities->Trace Selection.
Check if an entry corresponding to your email was created.
If not, maybe some configuration is missing. I've always worked in a Interaction Center scenario, with ERMS integration. For that, the configurations steps need were:
    - Activated the workflow
    - Configurate t-code SO28 to generate the ERMS object
    - Used ERMS rule modeler to route my emails to an organization ID
    - Activated service SAPCONNECT (with an user associated for authorization)
Hope that this may help you to go a little trough.
    Kind regards.

  • Send SMS from SAP

    Hi,
I´m very confused with the several threads, and notes about the setting SMS from SAP to Cellulars.
If I want to configure the sending of sms from SAP, I´ve to declare the NODE with HTTP? Or can to setup as SMTP?
If I setting the node with HTTP, I´ve to use my smsprovider, that is not mandatory what my own company mobile, not?

    Hello Ruben,
Well its very much possible to sent out sms from SAP System and you need to configure the system according to SAP Setting provided in below 02 SAPnotes.
How it SAP handles outgoing SMS/Paging
Note 455129 - Paging/SMS in different SAP releases
How you need to configure your SAP system.
Note 455140 - Configuration of e-mail, fax, paging or SMS using SMTP
I hope you will get all the information in above 02 SAPnotes.
PS:As of Release 6.20, you can also send and receive fax and SMS or paging messages using SMTP
    All the best !!

  • Error in receiver SAP system , while reading the xml received over Proxy

    Hi,
I am having one FTP to Proxy scenario, receiving complex XML file at FTP and have to pass this exact file to proxy in a single field.
As no mapping is required, created a data type with single node and both sender and receiver end.
After executing scenario, Data is displayed properly in PI moni, but when the file is received at SAP end, its giving error in SAP system moni that
"Error during XML => ABAP conversion".
The same scenario, when we are executing using SOAP or Mail sender adapter and proxy receiver, the interface is working fine at both ends.In SOAP and mail scenario, they are sending XML data enclosed in SOAP envelope.
but when the data is received at PI, the SOAP envelope is removed, and CDATA is being read by PI, and interface working fine.
Please provide your inputs in case of FTP sender.
    Thanks,
    Ruchi

    Hi Ganesh,
    Thanks for your response.
SOAP and Mail scenario are also using the same inbound proxy structure , and the proxy is working fine in both cases.
For FTP scenario we are reusing the same inbound proxy but we are facing error .
    SAP is getting
"XML to ABAP Conversion error with error id as "CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT " System expected the element 'Namespace of the inbound service interface' .
    Please guide.
    Thanks,
    Ruchi

  • Receiver File Adapter - Create File on another SAP System

I am working on a project that includes this requirement:  PDF files to be copied from a third party company via SFTP to a directory on our ECC system.
We have worked out the sender side config, and the transfer of the files into PI works fine via SFTP.
However, the PDF files are ending up in a directory on the PI system and not on our ECC system as expected.
The receiver communication channel is set up as follows:
    Party = blank
Communication Component = communication component of the ECC business system
    Adapter type = File
    ('Receiver' is ticked)
Transport Protocol = File System (NFS)  (etc)
Target directory = /tmp   (using this temporarily for testing)
I would have thought using the ECC business system would mean the files would end up on that system, but instead they end up on the /tmp directory on the PI system.
We are not permitted to use FTP between our SAP systems, so I can't go with that option.
I've searched for help on this and only see conflicting and vague statements about whether the NFS protocol can or can't be used for transfer to another SAP system in the landscape.
Any suggestions and help on the above, and the best method of transferring the files to the end SAP system would be very appreciated.
    Regards,
    Christine

remember that NFS means that it is referring to a file system on PI server.
What you could do is mount a space on SAP PI onto SAP ECC so that ECC will be able to access the files on SAP PI.
Guess that should solve the problem.

  • Receiving IDocs from non-SAP system ...

    Hello guys,
I have problem with implementing IDoc-XI-IDoc scenario. The sender system is a subsystem (non-SAP system) sending IDocs but XI is not able to receive them. I thing the IDoc metadata can not be found.
Logical system name of the sender is IF6020DEV. I registered the system in SLD. In Integration Directory I imported the Bussines System IF6020DEV to my scenario and I created communication channel of type Sender IDoc Adapter in it.
In IDX2 I created new port called IF6020DEV and I copied needed metadata into the port. But it doesn't work. Probably I don't do it right because I'm beginner with SAP XI.
Could you give me any advice how to configure XI for receiving IDocs from non-SAP system?
    Thank you in advance!
    Regards
    Zbynek

Thank you very much. The issue described in refered discussion is almost same issue what I'm solving. Unfortunetally the described solution dosn't work for me.
The sender system still returns following error. I know you probably won't understand it because you don't know the subsystem, but maybe you could get some idea what is wrong.

  • SMS from a SAP system

    Hi forum,
I would send SMS message from a SAP system (an ECC 6.0 as example). How ?
what kind of hw/sw do we need ?
    Regards.
    Ganimede Dignan

    Ganimede,
For SMS you probably should consider using a 3rd party gateway provider.  These providers usually will have a web services interface.  This interface then can be invoked via the web services toolset available in ECC 6.0.  It should be relatively easy to call the webservice from your system.
The key part is to find a provider that works for your country.  You can use this wikipedia article as a good starting point:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMS_gateways
If you are looking at US & Canada, then I can give you some more ideas.  For other countries you might try mblox or clickatell.
    Good luck,
    Stephen

  • What entries SAP system does when we receive a ceck from a customer?

    Hi,
Can anyone plz tell me what are the entries we do in SAP system in the following cases:
    1) When we receive a check from a customer
    2) when we deposit that check in bank
    3) When that check has been cleared in the bank
    4) Reconciliation Entry for it

    Hi:
                Upon check receipts from customer
    Clearing Incoming Bank                    Dr
    Customer                      Cr
There is not entry in case of check deposit when check has been recived from customers however if there has been cash sales then you transfer cash from cash GL to bank account and following entry is passed through FBCJ
    Bank A/C         Dr
    Cash A/C                   Cr
When checks have been cleared in banks, they send you Bank statement to this respect so that BRS could be done. Upon reconciliation system transfers balances from clearing account to main bank account based on the algorithm for clearing defined in SPRO.
    Main Bank Account      Dr
    Clearing Incoming Bank          Cr

  • HTTP Receiver Adapter - Post HTTPS to non-sap system

I plan on doing an https post to a non-sap system using the http rec adapter.  Will I need to make some config changes to enable ssl communication on the XI system?  Will I need the certificate of the target system?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
You will need Certificate to enable SSL communication.
And once you install your certifictaes on the systems according to the above blog then there are few changes which needs to done on XI side.
On XI Server - Go to SM59 and Create HTTP destination to the system with SSL enabled in that destination.Select active option for SSL.
In confguration - Go to HTTP rec channel and select HTTP destination and here give the one which u have created in last step.

  • To and fro communication between mobile & sap system

    Hi,
I want to enable a function in basis system in which on locking the sap userid, user will send an sms (using mobile) to sap system (ecc 6.0). Syetem will authenticate the request and will revert as sms to same user on mobile either success with unlocking the userid and resetting the password or authentication failure message.
Is this possible to send and receive such kind of sms to and from sap system?
If yes is it possible for system to read the input data and trigger the unlock command with password reset?
    please advice.
    Thanks.
    - Gaurav

    Hi Gaurav,
    Your requirement seems interesting.
    1. An SAP system uses SAPconnect and the HTTP plug-in to communicate with a paging provider that forwards SMS messages.
    see this too: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/2b/d925bf4b8a11d1894c0000e8323c4f/frameset.htm
    2. MESSAGEmanager SAP is a comprehensive SAP certified document delivery solution that
provides an easy-to-use and seamless connection to fax, email and SMS for R/3
    applications.
    check this: http://www.xcellerateit.com/whitepapers/syssol/spec_sap.pdf
Though i have not done this myself, the above may help you build an idea.
Also, post your experiences; so that it will be usefull for people on  forum.
