I recently updated to the newest version of Flash (17.0.0.134) and I have a MacBook Air, running OS X and I have Safari version 8.0.4. Ever since the update I can no longer select drop down menus or get Netflix to run properly. Has anyone else had this issue/know how to resolve it?
1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player.
System Preferences > Flash Player > Updates
Press the “Check Now” button.

Download it and quit Safari from Safari menu in the menu bar.

Drop-down list - Global binding to addInstance of new row in Table
Global binding - from drop-down list selection to addInstance of a new row and auto-populate the first cell of the row. Can it be done, and if so, how? Thank you.

When I am in Safari, many time a drop down box will appear stating, "open in new window", "move to", etc. What is this and how can I stop it from happening?
That sounds like a Contextual Menu, and should only appear if you right-click or ctrl-click on something.
Does it ahppen in other applications too ?. If not, I'd start by disabling any Safari Extensions in Safari - Preferences - Extensions. -
Am running FCP5, but upgraded to iMac a few months ago. Noted that some features of FCP5 like Boris text are no longer available. Was told by local Apple store that new operating system I now have (Snow Leopard) will drop some such elements. Is this true? Noted same thing in LIVE TEXT.

I have my Launch Video ready and the "share" drop down is gray so no ability to send it anywhere. What is this? I went on to update the computer for other reasons, now Safari 6.0.2 asit interfered with downloads; and from OS X basic to Mtn Lion 10.8.2.
Make sure your Project has the focus. You cannot Share an Event.

My iMac computer was recently worked on and in the process it was completely stripped down and new operating system installed.
OS X Yosemite version 10.10.1.
After this trip to be serviced, when I try to open Photoshop, I get a message "Licensing for this product has stopped working".
At the bottom of the error window, Error: 150:30
If you continue to see this message after restarting your computer, please contact Adobe technical support for help.
Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you are trying to send emails but for some reason, thousands show activity. I would start by re indexing the mailbox to help troubleshoot the issue:
1.Quit Mail if it’s open.
2.In ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData, delete any file that begins with “Envelope Index,” such as Envelope Index or Envelope Index-shm.To show your home Library folder, hold down the Option key, then in the Finder choose Go > Library.
3.Open Mail.Mail creates new Envelope Index files. This process may take a few minutes, depending on how many messages Mail is reindexing.

If the issue persists, I would next remove the account, restart the computer, and re add the account:
1.Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Accounts.
2.Select an account, then click Remove.

Removing an Exchange or IMAP account doesn’t permanently delete the account’s mailboxes and messages because they’re stored on the mail server. To retrieve the account’s mailboxes and messages from the server, add the account again in Mail.
To add the account again, click the rather than the as described above and retest the issue.

I have 2 iMac 24". Just successfully upgraded to OSX-Yosemite on one. The other iMac has gotten stuck at the startup screen. On power-down then powerup, I get a White screen w apple logo.....then the loading bar is on and goes about 1/5 of the way.....then switched to plain white screen......where it has been for 8-10 hours unchanged.....what can I do? HELP!
OH.....it has the mouse cursor that moves around on the blank screen. I have tried control+command+power button....it restarts, but goes thru the same process.....Apple logo then loading bar to about 20%, then back to the white screen.....no apple logo.... Help me someone? Please?

I hate the new operating system. Can't connect to wifi in home anymore even after a restore. Rhapsody no longer works on my phone either. Plus the brighth graphics are bothering my eyes even with brightness turned down. Any ideas on why rhapsody doesn't why rhapsody doesn't work anymore?
Contact Rhapsody to see if they have or plan to release an update for the app. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

I recently received a Macbook Pro as a gift .Im not too great with computers but I'm planning to attend workshops.
A frend recommended I pick up the book at Costco about the Pro .It gives advice on shortcuts and how to do almost anything on your Mac.
My question is should I purchase this item or the book specifically on the new operating system Mavericks ...as I was going to update my computer to this system.
Any input is appreciated

You need to upgrade = purchase Lion in order to use iCloud on your iMac. I use Dropbox with Snow Leopard. No need to upgrade.
