Do you think this is just a way to get my credit card information?
It sounds like a phishing email. You can't "cancel" purchases. You've now given them your AppleID and password, so you should immediately change your password to something new and very secure.
Also watch out for suspicicious activity on your account.

If the machine was upgraded to Lion 10.7.x by the original owner then you bought an illegal license of Lion and also of any other applications that the seller said came pre-installed, this assumes the seller did not include original install media. In that case you need to contact the seller for the original install DVDs that came with the machine re-install up to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and then purchase Mountain Lion ($20) and the applications you want or need. If you have a Mac (don't know about Windows), you can disable automatic syncing in iTunes > Preferences > Devices:
That way, you can manually do it by plugging in the device and launching iTunes. -

My win8 pc hard drive failed. After the hard drive was replaced, I copied iTunes Media backupfiles from external hard drive (Karen's Replicator backup software was used). ITunes does not recognize these back up files even though the location is the same as cloud & recently burned music that does show- help! The backup files consist of 34,000+ songs; almost all burned from my own CD collection. I do have most of the songs on an ipod classic but hesitate to try to restore from that. Can someone tell me how to get these 34,000 songs to show up in iTunes? Thanks!!

The red outline highlights the media folder and its contents, the various subfolders are only created if that kind of content is in your library. The right-hand side shows the files that should be found in the iTunes library folder; sentinel is normally hidden so may not be visible. The core of your iTunes library is the file iTunes Library.itl, you need to restore this, the other library files and the Album Artwork folder, as well as the media folder, to restore your library.

If you are getting a message about the card's security code then is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store -

you can do a Google search for "anti-virus" and "mac" and see what you come up with. I think Norton now makes a program for mac with anti-trogan and anti-rootkit detection, and hopefully it'll get better with more time and more complaints
As laverne's mom said, Norton's should never be installed on any Mac - period. I would not let it within 10 feet of my machines. It creates so many problems, it should be considered malware. If you must install AV software, try ClamXAV; it is free. However, there are no viruses for Mac; the current problem is a trojan and if due diligence is observed, there is no problem. -
whille creating my apple id account I entered a wrong email and didnt notice till the verification email was sent.

I want to download a free app. When I sign in then I have to sign in again to iTunes. Then it wants my credit card information as it always does. When I fill it out it says I'm decline and try a different card. Why it do that when the app is free. When first started iTunes I had no problem downloading apps. Why now since I used a card a few times does it ask me for my card information everytime now. Can't download any free apps without being declined.

It sounds like you are trying to download a free app, and when prompted to enter a credit card it is declined. I would use this article to go into iTunes and change your payment method to None:
