Received a mail from Apple??  Or is this phisching mai

I received a mail from "Apple",  they asked me to verify my Apple ID, but I am afraid that this is phisching mail.
They sended it in the dutch lenguage with a lot of mistakes in the lenguage.
This is a copy of the email:

It is very likely phishing. Don't give them a drop of info.
I believe you can forward it to [email protected] if you want to report it or just delete it.

    Actually there are three places to look
    Anyway first click on your name to get to your homepage/profile. At the top there are three tabs one of which is Notifications, that's number one,. Next look at the right side of the page at the boxActions in there click Manage Email Notifications. Finally click  Edit Preferences in the action box and click on Email Notification Preferences
    I think that covers it all.

    If the email's not in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

    If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

    I have a similar issue: I can send and receive email on my MBA, from my iPad and iPhone, but suddenly I can't send or receive on my MBP (computers running 10.8.4). I can get mail from icloud.com.
    In System Preferences I signed out of my icloud account and then re-entered my credentials and signed in again: No Change.
    I have the Triangle with the ! in the middle of it next to my Inbox. I've gone to Mailboxes > Take all accounts on Line with no change.
    In Mail Preferences nothing has changed and all Accounts tabs are exactly the same as on my MBA which succesfully receives mail.
    The Connection Doctor indicates that there is a problem with iCloud IMAP mail.
    I've tried turning off SSL: No Change
    What to do?

    I saw my status and still in the same: processing and with delivery date... I waiting for the mail "Preparing for shipping" and nothing or only Apple will send a mail for "Shipped"? please tell me because I'm so anxious and desperate! (I'm from Mexico)

  • I'm not receiving a 'Reset Password' mail from Apple for my old registered id?

    I received a mail from Apple with regards to change in settings of my iTunes or Apple ID on my Hotmail Account. So I clicked the change account and created a new Account using my Gmail ID. Little did I know, after successfull completion that the apps downloaded using my hotmail id would not be allowed to update using my ne registered gmail id.
    So, I try to login using my old id (yes hotmail). Now the catch is I forgot the pass for this id. So I click 'forgot pass' and a msg comes send email notification.
    Now comes the main point! I'm not recieving a single mail from apple on my pass retrival?! Which means i cannot update my apps (including the paid one's) + I'm scared that my CC deatails will be miss-used on the old id!
    Please help ASAP.

    Hey @mandaB97 - Never recvd any communication from Apple. Never expected this kind of service from Apple. Felt really mind-****** by this thing. Finally I gave up all my paid apps, and started using a new id.
    Felt really horrible, that all my paid apps went down the drain. The app guys couldn't help me too!

    If it has a link than most likely no. For example
    It has come to our attention that your billing information is out of date. To fix this, refer to the link below
    That is most likely a scam and you should not click on it. It would help if you provided a copy of the email, just to be sure.

    It is absolutely a fake. Do not, I repeat do not, respond to these emails in any way. You can report them to Apple if you wish:
    [email protected]
    but there's little or nothing they can do about such scams so it's probably not worth the effort and you can just delete the fakes.
