Received a print confirmation for a job I didn't order
I received a "ePrint Job Received" email for a job I know nothing about.
The email came to me from a catchall address of a domain I have:
[email protected]
I don't know what to do about it, I don't want to be billed for anything, and I have no idea how ePrint works, or how you would have billing information for me anyways.
Please advise.
What is ePrint?
HP ePrint is a free service that allows you to print documents and photos from any mobile or network-connected device (such as a phone, laptop, tablet, or other mobile device) to your HP ePrint-enabled printer. Each HP ePrint-enabled printer has its own unique email address. After you enable HP ePrint on your HP ePrint-enabled printer, you can print from your mobile or network-connected device by sending an email to your HP printer's email address. With HP ePrint, you can print from anywhere, at any time. If you can send an email, you can use HP ePrint.

One print queue for each job?
We have customer jobs that last for a year or so. We have a networked HP printer. Is it possible to set up multiple print queues for this same printer, so that we can keep track of which print jobs should be charged to each customer? I can set up a new print queue connected to the printer (although with "Kind" as "Generic PostScript Printer" instead of the printer model) and then I can print to it from the server; and it shows up in the printer list on the client stations (although with a diamond next to it), but when I select it in the Print dialog on the client station I get a spinning beachball and have to force quit e.g. Word. Is this an impossibility, or is there a way to do it?

Beginning with Windows Vista (and also true for Windows 7), the Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver instance must have its Advanced=>Spool Print Documents ... setting to Start printing immediately instead of either of the other settings. The other settings will yield the behaviour that you describe.

The "Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver" would be the "Adobe Printer".
Perhaps a tweak to your installed Adobe Printer to reflect Dov's guidance will resolve the issue.

. use tcode COOIS
- give the production order number in the selection at header level.
- in the next screen selection the production order number and display.
- click functions and click print.
This will immediately print the required documents.

Why haven't I received a reservation confirmation for iPhone 5?
On Sunday, I reserved (or so I thought) an iPhone 5 to pick up from my local Apple Retail Store, but I still haven't received confirmation of this.
I did this because I didn't want to travel for an hour to my closest Apple Retail Store and not have the iPhone I wanted.
Will I ever get an email, or will I just have to chance it?

GThere should be a tracking number in the documentation you got with the empty box by which you can track the package. If not, call Apple Support and ask them about status.

Automatic Time Confirmation for an operation in a Maintenance Order (IW41)
Hello,
We have a requirement to do automatic time confirmation (while saving the order) on an operation when the user selects "DONE" standard text key on Operation line item. Is there a user exit or BADI available in Plant Maintenance that can be used for Automatic time confirmation?
I went through some of the user exist/BADI in PM and didn't find anything for automatic time confirmation. The only thing that I found useful was user exit CONFPM03 (which allows to carry our own checks once and operation is selected for confirmation).

Normally thru confirmation we enter actual hrs worked in IW41 .. but if you do not want to run that tcode then not sure of any BADI but i would suggest you to create a Z Programme which runs as a batch job at some 30min everyday . The Z Programme checks all the PM orders of particular order type which are with released status and then gets into operations and checks for standard text and if its value is DONE then calls programme SAPLCORU - IW41 Programme .. you can suitably put a variant for that batch job .. plz check the option with ABAPer ..

Why do I keep getting charged for NHL stuff I didn't order, can't use, don't want?
2nd consecutive month. How much time does Verizon expect a customer to spend every month getting their bill straightened out? If there was a simple way to email the details, I wouldn't have a problem. I tried yesterday and today on customer support chat, but all agents are busy, Same exact problem last month cost me a couple of hours too. I would have thought they would have fixed it so it didn't happen again, not just reverse the charge when I complain. I wonder how much income Verizon puts in their budget for people who don't have the time to dispute unordered and unwanted extra services?

Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.
If its not in your purchase history, you should report it to your credit card company instead. -
SRM: many confirmation for PO
In SRM, I'd like to insert a confirmation for a "una tantum services" purchase order.
Unluckly, SRM allows me to insert many confirmations, exceeding total quantity, even if all PO's quantities are approved.
For example:
Purch.order quantity : 3 pieces
First confirmation:3 pieces (confirmation not approved)
Second confirmation: 2 pieces (inserted later and in not approved)
The second one is saved on system, but if the first is approved before, when the approver gives the ok the second, the confirmation goes in transfer error (quantity too high - tolerance limit ).
I know this is a process error. Also, we know there's a flag on PO's position that finalizes confirmation (last confirmation check box)
But, does anyone know how prevent situation without activation of check-box flag? Are there any OSS note solving the problem?Jagdish,thank you for your help.
I know SRM doesn't allow you to confirm more qty than the ordered qty.
My problem is that if i confirm a parzial quantity and the GR goes in approval status, i can insert GR for quantity exceeding the total quantity of order.
the second GR goes in transmission error after its approvation.
ex. PO quantity 5
first GR quantity 4
second GR quantity 3 (4+3 > 5!!!!)
After first approvation, nothing happens until the second GR will be approved. The GR goes in trasmission error for quantity exceeded.

I have a 6500A office I can receive composed emails sent to my printer through regular email Yahoo and hotmail from my accounts but when I am in Asia I am not receiving the print jobs sent through these accounts to my printer. I do get a confirmation from Hp that they received my print jobs but they are not printing and when I log onto eprint it is not showing as being printed.
My mom is having the same problem. She can send mail fine through her SBC Yahoo account, but only very few incoming messages arrive at Mail.app. You can see the others on-line using SBC Yahoo's web mail. It was working fine for weeks, now something has changed, and although my mom can make mistakes with setting things up, I know she hasn't changed anything, and some mail does make it through. Aaargh.

Color Laserjet 2605dn power cycles when receiving a print job
Very recently my Laserjet 2605dn color printer has been power cycling when it receives a print job. At first it was when it received large pdf files. But now it does it more often. I download and reinstalled the HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.15.4) and the printer now resets everytime I try to do a network discovery for the device.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to what board might be at fault ? Has anyone hear do fthis issue ?

Printer is overprinting old jobs on top of new jobs. Using a Mac with OSx and a HP photosmart for over a year. this just started happening.
RReset printing system again and the restart in Safe Mode . This will clear some caches,to do this hold down the Shift key when you hear the startup tone until a progress bar appears, after it has fully booted restart normally and add the printer.

MX711 - Prints fine for the first few jobs then prints with no ink

then after 10 minutes or so it prints but no ink is on the page.
I replaced the ink cartridges and did all the nozzle clean, priming, alignment etc.

Performing a factory reset of the printer will likely not resolve the issue of the inks not printing; however, you can perform the following steps to reset the settings of the printer:
1. Press the MENU button.
2. Select SETUP, then press the OK button.
3. Select DEVICE SETTINGS, then press the OK button.
4. Use the arrow buttons to select RESET SETTING, then press the OK button.
5. Use the arrow buttons to select SETTINGS ONLY, then press the OK button.
6. Press the HOME button to return to the main menu after the settings have been reset.
When inks do not print correctly, we recommend performing at least one cleaning and two deep cleanings on the printer to try and get the ink to print. If you still experience difficulty, the printer will require servicing. Please call or email us using one of the methods on the Contact Us page for further assistance.
