how do i access the data stored on my time capsule? for example, if i try to view a photo, i get the option to "view with iphoto" but when i click on "view with iphoto" nothing happens. i'm having similar trouble openning up movies, music, etc. it appears as though the files exist / saved on the time capsule (because i can see how much storage they consume), but i can't open them. thanks!
Unfortunately, Apple removed the feature to "browse backups" in Time Machine backups of iPhoto a few years ago.
You have to restore the entire iPhoto library to a separate location to be able to "see" it, and then choose the specific images that you want use.

Thanks.There is a checkbox above those two options for how to sync. It says Sync Music; it enables automatic syncing. That box needs to be checked before you can select from the two options for how automatic syncing is performed.
NOTE: If the iPod is current set up to Manually manage music [and videos], checking that Sync Music box replaces its current content with content from your iTunes library, based on how automatic syncing is set up on that screen.
So, if your goal is to add ONE playlist to an iPod that is managed manually, you do not want to do this because iTunes will erase the iPod's current content and replace it with just that ONE selected playlist (and whatever else you select on that Music settings screen).
Instead, if the iPod currently uses the manual setting, you need to add playlists manually to the iPod (not use the automatic syncing setting). Please post back with more details about your situation. -
I downloaded adobe cc and am trying to download ps, but when I click on the download tab nothing happens??
Open up the Adobe CC desktop application. There should be an Install or Try button, not a Download button, next to PS in the CC desktop app list.
It sounds like you’re using a browser with https://creative.adobe.com/products That page should work, too, but clicking the blue Download button is going to try to start up a program locally on your computer and you may have answered Disallow at some point in the past or you may have some internet security program that blocks such things so nothing is starting up. -
I go to '''www.thegarden.com''' I click on the tab '''View Full Calendar'''. It does not open. It works on AOL but not Firefox. And for some reason it also does not work when I use Internet Explorer. The majority of times when I click on that tab (in Firefox) it does not work. On a rare occasion it will open. I am not doing anything differently either time.

See above ...I can log on to Adobe on my iPad with ID and password but when I try to click on Adobe Viewer App on my iPad I am asked to Sign In with my Adobe ID and password...when I enter exactly as I did on my iMac I get Authentication Failed?? Any one have this issue?

My computer is XP and I can view his library on my computer just fine. His computer is using windows 7. Both are using the most current version of itunes (11, I think). Can't understand why it's working on mine but not his. Very frustrating as he has an ipod for the first time and doesn't have much music. I really need to share my music with him. I can get access to his with no problem. Could it be a firewall issue? And PLEASE...I keep seeing posts from username Winston Churchill. A folder that has several sub-folders (as do all my folders), has disappeared from my list of folders. Filters that would normally send new incoming emails to this folder now say, "choose folder" (they're not disabled), and of course I can't choose it anymore. When I do a search for emails that I know were in the folder, it finds them (or at least some of them, for sure; haven't checked on the hundreds) and lets me see the tops of contents, like in any normal search. So I know the emails do exist. But when I click on one to actually read it, Tbird goes through the motions of bringing the whole email up, but there's actually nothing there. The column heading are there for Data, From, Subject, Location, etc., but the there's nothing under the headings. So, I don't know what happened to the folder, and its (former) contents are out there in my computer's nether world.
Also, don't know if this is relevant; a day ago I did a backup and restore of my profile using MozBackup because I had to have a faulty hard disc replaced on my laptop. My Profile for Thunderbird was approx. 1.6 GBytes. I get 80 or so e-mails a day. The restore went fine as far as I can tell; In fact, I think I even recall noticing that the now-missing folder was there at first, but this is the first time I've tried to use it.
[email protected]I'm not 100% sure, but I think Thunderbird has an indexing process that runs in the background - and if you were on some odd configuration, let's say you're connecting to a mail system that also used an archiving system (for instance Outlook with Symantec Enterprise Mail Vault).
It's possible for Thunderbird to index the email (hence you can search for it) but by the time you run the search (a week, a month, or what ever later) the Symantec Enterprise Mail vault has already archived the email.
Basically you it can search, and build an index, but anything could happen to the email between being indexed and you searching for it.

As stated in the title I have a WD MyBookWorld NAS and it used to work well with itunes, it always came up in the shared area
I had to change the IP address on my NAS and now the NAS is displayed in the shared area but when I click on it for the contents to be displayed I just get the spinning "working" icon
I can access the unit via windows and my SONOS system but not through itunes anymore

(Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you sign out and choose Delete, but will still be in iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account your data will reappear on your Mac when you sign back in.)

When I receive an email request for a meeting, when I open it I get an error message asking if I want to revert to server, try again or ignore. If I choice revert to server it deletes the event, if I choice ignore it accepts it but won't sync with my other devices.
Interesting suggestion, but it's not clear to me how I would do that if I'm not using an "(at) icloud.com" email address/account. I am having the same problem with changed invitations that come from an organizer who is using Google Apps. My email account is hosted at my ISP - it's not obvious to me how I can use iCloud to access that email account (and therefore the changed invitation). Suggestions?

I received a link to a iTune movie trailer in an email. I clicked on "watch now" and then "play". I was told I need to download Quick Time, but when I clicked on download, I was told that QT is built into Mac OSX. How do I get QT to work?
When I hit the play icon the little arrow thing goes all the way over to the end of the file and doesn't play at all. What gives?
Is this a minimum information puzzle? It is difficult to diagnose a problem long distance when you provide little or no information regarding what actions you are actually taking to export the data or which version of iPhoto you are using. Based on your latest description of how it doesn't work, my best guess is that you are exporting a single frame from your video clip rather than the "Original" file. This is easily checked by opening the file in QT and simply pressing the left/right arrow keys. If the file only contains a single frame, then your export work flow is at fault. Please select the "File > Original" (or similar) option in the export menu to export the entire file in whatever version of iPhoto you are using..
