Received error code U44M2P7 when trying to update Extension Manager

I have CS6 on Windows XP. Can anyone help in this? I have downloaded the update directly through the Adobe site and tried updating first through the Application Manager and then directly through the Adobe site by downloading the update directly. Neither works. Also received error U44M1P7 when using the Application Manager.

yes, i read your message and yes, i know you already followed a portion of the advice in that link.
now you should read all of that page and follow the instructions remaining after a failed direct download and follow the links, as needed. or, if you're too aggrevated to do that contact customer support directly:  www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html

    It's a better bet with a 2330, but the first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
    XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
    Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
    Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
    Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
    Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • I keep getting an error code U44M1P7 when trying to update camera raw

    Can anyone help? I keep getting an error code when trying to update my camera raw, and 3 other updates. I am using a mac.

    IMO Adobe  left  a Program out of the typically list namely Photoshop
    Troubleshoot Update Errors
    Many update errors are caused by missing or modified files required by Photoshop, typically by a disk cleanup utility (Ex: CleanMyMac, MacKeeper, etc). Make sure you have the latest updates for your clean-up utilities or discontinue use.
    Explanations of error codes:
    U = Updater.
    44 = Install Update Error
    M1 = Automatic
    M2 = Standalone mode
    P = Patcher
    6 = Done With Errors
    7 = Installation Failed
    ISSUE: Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7, U44M2P7, U44M1P6
    SOLUTION: Run the installer. Reinstall Photoshop CS6 to repair/replace the missing/modified file. Select Help>Updates… to run the updater again. http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1p7-installing-updates-ccm.html
    ISSUE: The adobe update 13.0.1.2 errors with code U44M1I210.
    SOLUTION: Restart your system, download and install the updates manually. See “Solution 3″ here. http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1i210-installing-updates-ccm.html

    To fix the update install problems I've had with CC I use the direct installer I downloaded from Download New Adobe CC Trials: Direct Links (no Assistant/Manager) | ProDesignTools  Follow the download instruction to the letter otherwise you will be denied access.  Once to have it. Install CC on top of itself.   That will back level CC to  CC version 14.0.  Then use Photoshop menu Help>Updates.  All updates should install and all the extensions and addition you made to cc will still be there.

  • Error code U44M1P34 when trying to update Premiere Pro and After Effects- tried everything, nothing works

    I am out of ideas here. I had several program installed for months with no issues. Every update was fine. I haven't moved any installations or changed configurations, etc. I have probably a dozen CC apps installed or more.
    Then out of nowhere, I start getting an error U44M1P34 when trying to update Premiere Pro. After Effects updates give me a similar error.
    1. Tried uninstalling these apps, then restarting, then installing again, but no luck. It tells me that installation was successful, but an update failed.
    2. I tried clearing all temp files, etc. No luck.
    3. I uninstalled EVERYTHING Adobe related on my computer. Restarted. Ran the Cleaner tool as admin. Restarted. Installed Creative Cloud then tried to install Premiere Pro. Same problem.
    So after all that, including putting my work on hold so I can uninstall everything from my machine and try all this junk, it still gives me an error. I can't update those two programs, and maybe more(hard to say since some programs haven't had updates since this started, so it might be worse than just those two).
    I was able to install programs like Fireworks and Muse without issue since these problems started.
    I've pretty much read every post of every thread where this error message is at. I've looked at my log files, but don't see anything fatal(please tell me what I'm supposed to be looking for as the instructions given are vague at best).
    I just need to get this stuff installed and updated. Any ideas? Since I've literally removed Adobe's presence from my computer, then started from scratch, what else is there to try? I haven't moved ANYTHING to another drive or partition. Everything is in the same place it was since 10 months ago when I started CC.
    I'm running Windows 8.1 Update 1 64-bit. 16GB RAM, hundreds of GB of HD space remaining. Geforce GTX760m (also have the Intel 4600 integrated graphics, for whatever that's worth).
    I've run both PP and AE  just fine, and they even run fine without the update. But I WANT to update them.
    Ideas or thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.
    Brent

    Well, the Adobe rep hasn't called me yet.
    The good news though is that it's no longer an issue. Since the 2014 versions of the Adobe CC apps were released today, I was able to install/update just fine. So it was something with the previous update that was broken, or something like that.
    FWIW, the new 2014 editions are fantastic so far. Some great improvements that I'm happy with. I just wonder whether this update issue will rear it's ugly head again with a later revision?
    Time will tell. Thanks for the help regardless!

  • Getting error code U44M1I11 when trying to update Photoshop on Mac

    Hi  all,
    I'm trying to update Photoshop in my Mac running OS 10.9.5, and I'm getting the following error in the error log:
    Photoshop Camera Raw 8.7.1(CC)
    Another instance of deployment is already running. Error Code: U44M1I11
    Adobe Photoshop 2014.2.2
    Another instance of deployment is already running. Error Code: U44M1I11
    It doesn't matter if if use Cloud updater, or the Photoshop updater.  I've rebooted my machine and have no other things running when I'm doing the update.  I've also uninstalled Photoshop completely and started a fresh install, but the update still fails with the same errors in the error log.  I've also tried updating one component at a time, i.e., Camera Raw or Photoshop - and I get the same error, but this time, only for the component I've tried to update.
    Any ideas on how I can get past this and update Photoshop?
    Thanks!
    -JF

  • Error code '8002F310' when trying to update.

    I tried to download and install a new system update and when it is installing, it gets stuck on 99% and comes up with error code 8002F310. I've followed all the on screen instructions and it keeps trying to tell me to unplug the power and try again. I've now done about ten times and still nothing. Can someone please please help? I would be truly grateful. Thank you.

    hi everyone.the dreaded 99% loop happened to me yesterday but I finally sorted it when searching through forums. the post I read and used didn't worik totally but I was able to trial and error until success. It's might not work for everyone but the frustration I felt when i read about other people having to pay a stupid amount for a fix, I had to post what sorted it for me. 1. Download the update onto a USB stick using your pc. (Hopefully you have one). Create a new folder named UPDATE and drag the file into it. Then create a folder called PS3 and drag the 'UPDATE' folder into that. Note the folders must be in capitals..... 2. Underneath your console is a small panel near the front that pops open to reveal a small screw. Unscrew it and then remove a bigger panel on the actually front of the console to reveal the hard drive. It has a wire handle that will help you remove the hard drive. (Don't take it out yet) 3. Turn your console on and when the update loop begins take the hard drive out. After a minute or so it will realise this has happened and a error message will appear and a 60 second countdown will start. Let this time countdown and allow the console to restart. ( a post a read on a forum said that the console will restart on a screen that will allow you to download the update via USB but is did not happen for me and the system said it was unable to start because it could not detect a hard drive.) 4. Turn the console totally off and insert the hard drive. Turn it back on and as it is beginning to start carefully take the hard drive back out. Then a screen will hopefully appear that says to connect your controller to the USB wire and press the ps button. Do this and then it will give you the option to update via USB. Insert your USB drive and press start and select on your controller.  5. Then comes a step that I can't really explain and is the trial and error part of the process. When the system is searching for the USB update I inserted the hard drive. On the first try it didn't find the update and a error message appeared, but as I tried the whole process again it found the update and completely the process. I didn't lose any saves and more importantly, didn't pay a penny!!  hope this helps someone who was alas frustrated as I was!!
