Receiver Component Empty in RWB

Hi,
what does it mean if the Receiver Component shows Empty in RWB under message monitoring.
thanks.

Hi, it means that the message has been sent from adapter to integration engine. When you open the message in the message display tool (select a message in the monitor table and click Details ) there is a a column End Point in Message data showing the URL of the integration engine, meaning the message has been sent to this URL:
End Point | http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

I would contact Apple directly and have them work with to get the iPod shipped to a new/different address.

  • Receiver Component name is InterfaceCollection : PI 7.1 EHP1

    Hi  All,
I am doing 1:n mapping where in on the target end i have n different structures . The mapping is working fine as expected but during runtime in sxmb_moni transaction , i cannot see the messages getting splitted with respective Receievr component , namespace and interface name .
I can see only one message which is successful with the following parameters:
    Receiver component : InterfaceCollection
    Receiver namespace : http://sap.com/xi/XI/System
PS : The interface is working perfectly as expected.
    Regards
    Vinay P.

And where can I view the payload of messages after split?
    As soon as:
    > Receiver component : InterfaceCollection
    > Receiver namespace : http://sap.com/xi/XI/System
there are no payloads in SXMB_MONI...

  • PI 7.11 handling EOIO Backlog in Engine Status for a Receiver Component

    Hi
In our PI 7.11 we have for more days had an EOIO Backlog of 120 messages for one of our receiver components when checking the Engine status Backlog tab (RWB -> Component Monitoring -> Adapter Engine -> Engine Status -> Backlog tab -> Receiver Components section)
My question is how I can process the backlog. There is nothing to see in either smq1/smq2/sm58 on the PI system or in smq1/smq2 on the receiver system.
    Thanks in advance.
    Mikael

    HI,
Go to MessagingSystem of the server and there the option for the EOIO Sequence Monitoring will be available and can make use of that...
MessagingSystem link is http://host:port/MessagingSystem there the message which bloking the other messages can be seen...

  • How to enable viewing of payload for receiver RFC adapter in RWB

    HI All,
We can see the payload of all adapters in RWB by clicking on the message link under component >> adapter monitoirng. However when i click on message link for receiver RFC adapter, it does not show any payload. How can I enable this payload?

    Hey
Sync messages are Cached rather than persisted in RWB to save memory.
You need to change the following parameter in Visual admin to see sync messages in RWB
    Service SAP XI AF Messaging:
    messaging.syncMessageRemover.removeBody = false
its set to True by default hence it does not stores the messages.
You may have to restart the Java stack after the changes (but first try without restarting the Java stack).
    Thanks
    Aamir
Pl:You will see the sync messages in Message Monitoring in RWB (not sure if it will show up in Communication channel monitoring as well)

  • Problem: Merging same Files into 1 File using BPM, Receiver File empty.

    Hi All,
I am trying a scenario where I need to merge two similar files into one single file (Append) using BPM
I am following the same structure as defined in the predifined BASIS Namespace i.e.  http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Patterns for Integration Process BpmPatternCollectPayloads. The only thing I changed is that inside my loop I am having a container dat counts till 2.
Now when m testing d interface, the file @ reciver directory is generating, but without any data i.e an empty xml is generating. PI is also not showing any error anywhere.
My Message mapping structure is as follows:
    Sender Side:
    <Message>    (1..1)
       <Message1>  (1..1)
           <MT_myMessageType>  (0..unbounded)
                    <Records>  (1..1)
                            <Id(Used for correlation)> (1..1)
                            <Name>   (1..1)
                            <Address>  (1..1)
    Receiver Side:
    <Message>    (1..1)
       <Message1>  (1..1)
           <MT_myMessageType>  (1..1)
                    <Records>  (0..Unsbounded)
                            <Id(Used for correlation)> (1..1)
                            <Name>   (1..1)
                            <Address>  (1..1)
    Can anyone plz help me.

Inbound Message after PE, is empty, so the Request Message Mapping (Technical routing) step is also showing a Empty XML without any structure.
So you mean to say The inbound Message for BPM -
    > File is empty?.....this clearly means that
    1) the transformation step in BPM is not producing the required XML
    2) some validation is imposed in the mapping...which if not satisfied is not creating the target structure.....
Can you ensure that the transformation step outside the block is working properly....and that your BPM design is exactly same as in BpmPatternCollectPayload (except the number of times the loop is executed)......
just few days back even i was stuck in a similar situation....the transformation step outside a Block was not producing a particular element in the target......i made some dummy changes in the mapping and then again included in the transformation step and then my BPM worked fine.......so the conclusion is either the data from block is not going into the transformation step or the transformation step is not creating the target.....

    Abhishek.

  • File receiver: Create empty file named "start.txt" at end of process

    Hello,
When my file adapter finish the generation of file at the receiver server I want to create another empty file at the same directory named "start.txt". The use of that file if for a scheduled task of OS that only starts a process if start.txt file have been created (the process delete that file).
How can I do that? I've tried with OS command after precessing but that's for the XI OS not the receiver system SO...
Then I've seen that I can use ftp command but there isn't ftp command to create a file... only to transfer files.

You can achive this using script.Write a script/bat to creat a file using ftp connection as well in the script and place in xi machine. Using OS command to call the script before the process ends.

  • Having multiple sender components send to one receiver component ?

    Hi,
the scenario is XI Proxy - Integration server Mapping - Web service call.
Here is my situation, I have many sender components which all have names that start with F (exp : F01, F02, F03) , and others that have names that start with I (I01, I02, I03) ,
Basically , I'd like to make a receiver determination that looks like sender component = F* and another receiver determination where sender component = I* this way all requests comming from F senders go to receiver A and all requests from receiver I go to receiver B.
Any idea how to do this... ?
    Thanks

Basically , I'd like to make a receiver determination that looks like sender component = F* and another receiver
determination where sender component = I* this way all requests comming from F senders go to receiver A and all
requests from receiver I go to receiver B.
    My questions:
    1) Will Sender component name come in the source payload i.e. some node contain F01 or I01?
    2) Why are you stressing on Receiver Determination? (no need to answer this Q if answer to first is YES)
When you want to implement a condition for F* or I* then you should be using the Contains Pattern option from the middle operand of the Condition Editor.....for more info refer this wiki (check screenshot no.6):

  • Some emails received with empty attachment file but visible in SAPOffice

    Hi,
I hope someone can shed some light on this.  I couldn't find anything in OSS regarding this issue.  Our client suddenly started having a problem where emails sent out of the system containing .PDF attachments are being received sporadically as blank attachments.  This appears to be a performance issue and occurs randomly, typically in the middle of a batch of output being distributed by RSCONN01.
Oddly enough, when we display the SAPOffice email in SOST the next day, the attachment is there.  If we resend, the attachment comes through fine.  This only occurs in batch.
My instincts tell me this is occuring during the RFC call to MLUNXSND.  It's almost as if SENDMAIL is being triggered before the attachment is successfully written down to the unix level.
Our network is notoriously poor.  I have no idea to which directory the attachments get written before the email is sent.
Can anyone provide suggestions on where to look?  I'm thinking maybe a directory is full somewhere?  We've never archived anything.  This has been working successfully and without error for over 18 months now.  It just started happening a week or so ago.
My only other thought is that perhaps the commit to the database is not complete when generated by RSNAST00 prior to running RSCONN01.  Is it possible that SCOT is processing the outbound email before the attachment data is completely written to the database?  I would have thought that a commit work in RSNAST00 would prevent this?
Our basis group appears to be helpless and either unwilling or unable to research it further.  The fact that the output is fine in SAPOffice/SOST leads me to believe this is a problem at the UNIX level and is a basis issue, not an application issue.
Thanks so much for any suggestions on where to look for help to this problem.  We are on 4.6C

Is it possible that in batch mode perhaps multiple uuencode/sendmails are being called simultaneously and this is causing the problem where as when you run or test it manually you only invoke a single uuencode/sendmail at the unix level. (sendmail.cf)
You can test from 1 unix with something like this to send /tmp/report.pdf via email
    uuencode /tmp/report.pdf report.pdf | mailx -s "test" ray[at]company.com
Perhaps try a batch of 10 of them at once from unix too
    i=0;while [[ $i -lt 10 ]]
    do
       uuencode /tmp/report.pdf report$.pdf | mailx -s "test $i" ray[at]company.com &
       let i="$i+1"
    done
Alternatively perhaps your system is only allowed to make limited outbound SMTP connections by a firewall or mail gateway that's the next hop after Unix?

  • Audit log is empty in RWB CC Monitoring

    Hi experts,
I am facing a problem with the message monitoring in the RWB. The Audit Log tab for the message details has nothing while the Message Content and Message data contain information about the message. I have set the parameter message.auditLogEnabled to false for the service com.sap.aii.af.svc in the NWA and restarted the instance but with no luck. Please help me out.
    Regards.

    Hi Prateek,
That parameter was 'true' by default.
    As per this blog,
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs;jsessionid=(J2EE3417800)ID0321728450DB01035845556380020404End?blog=/pub/wlg/13456
I changed it to 'false'. The persistence of messages is 24 hours, which is fine.
I am now trying to look at the table XI_AF_MSG_AUDIT. It has about 800K records in it, in which about 80k have 'DLNG' as their status. Do you think this is causing any problem?
    Regards.
