Receiver interfaces problem...

Hi all...
I have 2 questions...
1. Can we use multimaping in which both proxy and other adapter(say File or Mail) are in receiver side without any BPM?
If yes lemme know how please...
I could not do the above so i am going for 2 different mappings.....
2. Can i use the same receiver interface in more than 1 flow for the same sender and receiver components but the sender interfaces are in different namespaces?
I am trying to do above but i am getting the following error...

Yes, you can do it without BPM if it is 1:N mapping but if it is N:1 then you have to use BPM.
I could't realize while answering. It is not possible, see the reason given below by Sanjeeve.

No, you cannot do like this. You can see it is clear from the error message it self that "Inbound interface found several times (for same sender and receiver)".

PI 7.1 Sender Interface and Receiver Interface gets interchanged

Hi All,
I m facing a strange problem in PI 7.1
For many of my scenarios, the Sender Interface, sender namespace and receiver Interface, receiver namespace information gets interchanged and displayed incorrectly.
But sometimes its working fine.
When we analysed the Log messages, found that, after xml validation step, the sender and reciever interface gets interchanged.
Any idea why this happens?
How to rectify this error?

Please check your message interfaces once again. Sender is outbound and Receiver is inbound.
Also please check your receiver determination.

Interface Problems in Yosemite

Problem shows up when using software other than the native OS X apps.
If I attempt to close a window behind the app that has focus by clicking the red x part of the semaphore buttons (top left on every window) it will not work unless I change focus to that app by clicking the bar at the top.
As an example if I'm using Byword to view a document while composing an email in Airmail once I finished and move on to viewing, say a receipt, in Airmail and want to make a copy of that receipt and place it on the desktop. I'm done with Byword and it is covering the desktop so why not close it and get it out of the way. I move the mouse pointer over the red X part of the semaphore buttons and click, nothing happens. I have to bring Byword into focus by clicking the title bar, then click the red x to finally close the window. If the app below Airmail happened to be Safari the red X works properly.
On my Mac Mini using Yosemite this works properly for all apps.
This is only a slight problem but I have been having the odd quirky interface problems for the past while and I'm worried that something has gone south and these may end up adding together to make a very large problem. Initially I had problems with PopClip which seemed to be screwing around with the interface buttons in Rapidweaver 6. I removed the app to clear that problem using AppDelete.
While trying to diagnose this problem I have removed all the auto login apps that I can and rebooted several times to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
I have designed an JDBC to R3 scenario.
In the XI system SXMB_MONI the message was processed successully on the outbound side.
On the R3 side. in SXMB_MONI => Trace there is a message like
no sender or receiver interface definition found
What could be the problem. I have checked the IR and ID settings.
Everything seems to be OK. Is there a problem with the Queues.
Please suggest.

Hi,
We have encountered same error in one of our scenarios. When we restarted these messages they were successfully processed. This could be probably because of the cache update failure at that particular instance when the message was posted.
Restarting the message through SXMB_MONI could probably solve the problem sometimes.

Extended Receiver Determination problem

Hi,
I am making use of extended receiver determination to send 1 source to multiple target systems. When I was testing so that the interface would just send to 1 target system while still making use of the extended receiver determination, I got the following error CO_TXT_OUTBINDING_NOT_FOUND and "No receiver agreement found". The red flag error occurs during Technical Routing and when I checked the details SOAP Header -> Main, I found that the following:
Sender Service: ServiceA (correct)
Sender Interface: InterfaceA (correct)
Sender namespace: NamespaceA (correct)
Receiver Service: ServiceB (correct)
Receiver Interface: InterfaceA (wrong)
Receiver namespace: InterfaceA (wrong)
It seems that extended receiver determination was able to successfully determine the receiver service but fail in determining the correct receiver interface and receiver namespace. Does anybody know why this happen and how to correct the problem?
Some investigation that I already done:
1.) I temporarily changed the extended receiver determination to a standard receiver determination and specifying the 1 target system explicity without changing any other object in both IR and ID as well as using the same test file. The result is that this worked and the file was sent succefully to my intended target system. This tells me that the problem might either be in the extended receiver determination or in the message mapping or message interface Receivers. Also, this means that all the other objects in ID for this interface is configured correctly.
2.) I tried hard coding the target system as a constant in the message mapping for the Receivers message type and still make use of the extended receiver determination and I got the same problem mentioned above.
3.) I tried deleting the receiver determination, activating the changes, re-create the object and activate it and I still got the problem
4.) I tried checking sxi_cache and everything is up to date and correct
Any suggestions is highly appreciated.

I you are doing only standard receiver determination only and using certain condition you are sending to different targets. If yes check this url:

IDOC - BPM - IDOC Error --no sender or receiver interface definition found

I have an integration scenario, IDOC - BPM - IDOC. SAP will send ACC_GL_POSTING IDOC to XI, a BPM will start and then the BPM will send an IDOC to another SAP system.

Code to retrive the sender and receiver interface names using custome adapter module

Hello Team,
I want to develop an custom adapter module which could retrieve the names of the sender and receiver interfaces of the scenario and for that i am trying to use com.sap.aii.af.service.administration.api.monitoring.ProcessContextFactory.ParamSet but i don't know whether this API will support or not and also i don't know how to develop the code using this API so please suggest me some code for it so that i could retrieve the names.

Hi,
Just ASMA setting will do the needful. Are you planning to rename your target file name. If yes then only you will require UDF.
Update: Since your directory name will be taken from source file name then you have to use mapping for this, else it will not be possible.
I don't know if creating a new module for this will help you solve the issue, but in that case rather creating adapter module, mapping will be easier.

Choosing Receiver Interface (IDoc or RFC) without using BPM

Hi,
We have a scenario wherein the receiver interface (either IDoc or RFC) must be dynamically determined at runtime based on the source message. I've tried using Multi-Mapping but this did not work since IDoc and RFC interfaces are not on the same Adapter Engine.
How do I configure this scenario without using BPM?

so you can have one interface that either goes to one

RFC to BPM - Error in receiver interface

Hi everybody,
I have created the scenario below.
i imported the ZStart_Job rfc from R/3
i created the MI_Start_Abs (abstract and async) - message type is same from ZStart_Job
i created the BPM_Job where the send interface is MI_Start_Abs.
i configured the sender and receiver agrameent, receiver and interface determination and others.
i actived everything.
When i execute the "call function ZStart_Job", the execution dosent return error in Message Monitoring, but appears one green flag with hit "Scheduled".
In XML body show the error below

-a- Job Name and Job Description fields are not visible. Well the fields are there but each of them just 1/2 character wide. I can't see/enter anything in the fields.
Import Wizard:
-b- Job Name field under the first "Type" wizard's step looks exactly the same as in Export case.
-c- Can't see any row under "Chose Input Files" section (I see just ~1 mm of the first row and everything else is hidden).
My env:
-- Version 3.2.20.09, Build MAIN-09.87
-- Windows 7 (64 bit)
It could be related to the fact that I did change fonts in the Preferences. As I don't know what is the default font I can't change it back to the default and test (let me know what is the default and I will test it).
PS
-- Have tried to disable all extensions but DBA Navigator (11.2.0.09.87). It didn't help
-- There are no any messages in the console if I run SQL Dev under cmd "sqldeveloper\bin\sqldeveloper.exe

a-I see those 1/2 character size text boxes (in my case on frequency) when the pop up dialog is too small - do they go away when you make it bigger?
b- On IMPORT the name it starts with IMPORT - if it is the half character issue have you tried making the dialog bigger?
c-I think it is size again but my dialog at minimum size is already big enough.
Have you tried a smaller font - or making the dialogs bigger (resizing from the corners).
I have a 3.2.1 version where I have not changed the fonts from Tools->Preferences->CodeEditor->Fonts appears to be:
Font Name: DialogInput
Font size: 12

Picking wrong Receiver Interface

Hi,
I am working on IDoc to SOAP scenario using BPM. When we are triggering 100 idocs at a time, in that 2-3 are picking wrong receiver interface and other are working properly. Why this is happening and how to correct it?

This looks like some caching issue. Please ask the basis team to check. If the Idoc messages are big and as you mentioned, there are 100 IDocs triggered at the same time and you are using IP as well, these all could impact the overall system cache. A lot of resources will be used to complete this process, if my assumptions are right.

Any ideas about interface problems on 2014.1.1?

On a fresh install of 2014.1.1 on a new macbook pro I am having interface problems. The Edge program locks up after a few minutes or the cursor won't show what's being selected, items disappear, sometimes get the "Save your work, error occurred" message and other odd interface behavior. Are there any known issues or likely culprits that might cause this sort of thing?

Thanks for jumping in. Yes, I've restored prefs and even uninstalled all (including prefs) and reinstalled. If it helps at all, I run several cloud apps (googledrive, dropbox, icloud, box, transporter, etc.). Other installed items include a Wacom tablet driver, latest Java, Flash player, Logitech mouse driver. Other than those the mac is brand new with no unusual system mods yet.
Appreciate any ideas.

Import from receiving interface

Hi All,
I have inserted data into rcv_headers_interface and rcv_transactions_interface.
The data is in PENDING status and how can I trigger the importing operation??
In sales order interface, I can run "order import" concurrent program, but what should i do for importing data from receiving interface??

if the item is standard and not lot/serial based insert data into RCV_HEADERS_INTERFACE & RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE and run Receiving Transaction Processor.

Receiver interfaces condition

Hello All,
In PI 7.31, I am trying to insert 1 receiver interfaces condition to check if the source field is not empty, then do not execute the interface
I have given the condition as ns0:Material_MT/row/flag # (not equal) and right operand is blank and checked multiline checkbox
In my case, the source structure is 0..unbounded where I use a select statement to fetch mutiple records (row)
So the structure is like this below
<MT_Material>
<row> 0..unbounded
<matid>
<flag>
</row>
</MT_Material>
The condition is not working so I am assuming its wrong. And also since the source structure is 0..unbounded, how do I specify the condition ?
is the multline will take care of 0..many?

I think I haven't made my question clear
I have 2 receiver interfaces in the ICO for one outbound interface and I am maintaining maintain order at runtime checkbox for these 2
For the second interface, I have to execute only if it satisfies the condition given below
ns0:Material_MT/row/flag and ns0:Material_MT/Material ID not equal to space, then call the 2nd interface
how do I write the condition??
if the source structure ns0:Material_MT is 0.unbounded, how do I mention that in the condition editor? is it multiline check box?

Interfacing problem

Dear All gurus/experts,
I need help from you to solve an interface problem. The problem is how to create interface where I want to implement HR application (java) and SAP B1. I am really confusing to the stepwise I must do in creating interface.Do I must define fields/columns, forms, document or report in the SAP B1 side first and then compare to the HR application fields/columnc/forms/documents/reports. The difference between them then fixed and created if required. The main purpose is all the HR process will be handled by HR Application and the data will be sent to SAP B1. The data directly posted to G/L for example payroll, expenses relate to HR and also pension. is it possible for me to create a template and then the template update to SAP B1 using Data transfer workbench (DTW) ? the application can be updated the data file into CSV, txt, etc. If you have any experience about that, pls share to me. I appreciate your answer so much.
