Im a little confused wuth these things on 7.1
is the local rule in rcv det same as receiver rule??...I have neer used that option multiplicity in interface determination...
pls share ur thoughts

In PI 7.1 there is no button for enhanced receiver determination as it is there in PI 7.0.the enhanced
Instead we have a check button for multplicity in the interface determination.
Enhanced interface determination is available directly in Interface determination in 7.1 which can be
checked in the multiplicity.
we can choose directly mapping that is 1..N and source is your sender interface.

when using moderation using a Transport Rule (Transport Rule Action "forward the message to addresses for moderation") it is possible to moderate messages sent to recipients outside the exchange organization (Transport
Rule Predicate "Sent to Users Outside The Organization"). This all works perfect so far using a single arbitration mailbox.
Now I would like to add additional arbitration mailboxes for load balancing purposes. As far as I understand, different arbitration mailboxes can configured on the recipients objects which are moderated using the set-<MailEnabledObject> -ArbitrationMailbox
'XYZ'
Now, for the described case above where the recipients are external (internet) and not available within the directory, is there a way to use multiple Arbitration mailboxes anyway and if yes, how ?

Same idoc to multiple EDI receiver system using rule

Dear Friends!
Good day! I am using desadv.delvry03 idoc and I want to send same idoc from same communication component to multiple receiver parties without mapping.
I have created first scenario successfully using idoc, when I create another scenario it gives me message like "Object already exist" . for that I have to use Service interface. I dont want to use service interface for this purpose. In my scenarios mapping is not even required. one idoc to and multiple receivers thats it.
Can you please guide me how to do the above requirement ?

For this... U can create 1 sender agreent for that idoc if necesseary....otherwise we dont required IDOC sender Agreement.
Then Create 1 reciver determination in that u can mention the 2 recivers details...
same thing for interface determination also.
and finally create 2 reciver agreement and 2 reciver communication channels for 2 systems.

ERROR: RUL-00025:fact class multiple inheritance not supported

I am receiving this erro message when trying to invoke a rule (assert, execute ruleset,retrieve results) on a XML Fact structure that has demo element as parent with a ref to two child elements: invoice and po.
I simply used the wizards to deploy the decide activity so I have no clue what this might be.

RL only supports single inheritance, either from an interface or a class. JAXB 1.0 generates a set of classes that inherit and implement each other. If the RL code is generated in the wrong order and child classes are generated before parent classes, then you get the indicated exception. In most cases, not importing the element class will prevent this from happening, and in the rest not importing the ObjectFactory class will prevent it (or unchecking the "supportsXpath" option). You can't use the element class in the rules anyway since the properties it inherits from it's parent don't show up in lists.
So, it's not the complexity of the XSD that matters in processing, only that a single inheritance chain is specified. If you follow the original instructions with your complex XSD, I believe you will see it work correctly.
This has been fixed in the as-yet-unreleased 10.1.3.4 version, but the only workaround for released versions is above.

Is there a way to create a rule that sends and Auto Response for a shared mailbox?

I have a shared mailbox set up that receives emails that are sent to 3 different addresses:

[email protected]
[email protected]
I would like to create a rule that would send an auto response when someone emails one of these addresses. However, I don't want an auto response sent to [email protected] so I can't just set up an "out of office" reply for the mailbox.
Is there a way that I can create a rule to send an automated response to 2 of the 3 addresses?

we can enable the shared mailbox in ADUC and create Outlook rules for it in Outlook to achieve it. please follow these steps:
1. In Active Directory Users and Computers, right-click the shared mailbox and click Enable Account.
2. Configure the Outlook account for the shared mailbox in Outlook.
3. Click Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts.
4. Create a rule like the following format:
Apply this rule after the message arrives
Have server reply using a specific message
Except if the subject contains specific words
Select exception(s) (if necessary) of the Outlook Rule - (“except if from people or public group“)
5. Apply the auto reply rules for this shared mailbox.
Then users can receive auto reply of the shared mailbox except the exceptions we have set when they send messages to this shared mailbox.

Questions on Rules-Based ATP and Purchase Requisitions for STOs

Hello experts,
We are working on rules-based ATP configuration and have several questions about the functionality. Iu2019m hoping that some of you are using this functionality and can help give us direction.
In our environment we have multiple distribution centers and multiple manufacturing plants. We want to confirm sales orders against stock and production orders in any of those plants, depending on the locations that have stock or planned production. For example, we will place a sales order against plant A. If there is not enough stock in plant A then rules-based ATP will use location determination to check in plant B, then C. The scope of check on the ATP check will include stock and released production orders. We will configure plant A as the u201Cconsolidation locationu201D so if stock is found in plants B or C then stock transport orders will automatically be created to move the stock to plant A before shipping to the customer.
We have configured rules-based ATP and this functionality is working well in our Development system. The ATP check is executed and uses the rules-based ATP to find eligible stock in other plants. The system is also creating purchase requisitions to move the stock to the consolidation plant.
Our first concern is that there doesnu2019t appear to be any firm linkage between the sales order and the resulting purchase requisition. For example, if we create sales order 123 for plant A and the rules-based ATP finds stock in plant B it automatically creates a purchase requisition 987 to move the stock from plant B to plant A. However, there doesnu2019t appear to be a linkage between sales order 123 and purchase requisition 987. For instance, if we delete sales order 123 the purchase requisition doesnu2019t get deleted.
Our second concern is that the quantity on the purchase requisition can still be confirmed against later sales orders. For example, say the above scenario resulted in a purchase requisition 987 that consumed all the stock available in plant B. We then create a second sales order 456 for the same product. Plant A is out of stock so the rules-based ATP looks in plant B. We would expect that plant B would also not have any stock because itu2019s all been consumed by the purchase requisition. Instead, the system creates a second purchase requisition to move quantity from plant B to plant A. Itu2019s as if the system doesnu2019t realize that the purchase requisition 987 is already planning to move stock out of plant B.
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on these two scenarios? Is there a way to configure the system so there is a hard linkage between the sales order and the purchase requisition so that if the sales order is deleted then the purchase requisition is also deleted? Should ATP realize that purchase orders are consuming inventory and not allow later sales orders to confirm against that same inventory? Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
The scheduling is done in SCM, and from there, whenever the RBA is triggered, the calculation is done always with the old route in SCM. Until you get back to R/3 this is when your route is determined. But the ATP check is always with the original route. So the idea would be that you change the values of the route while still in APO, this is possible via the user exit. Should be done in scheduling in APO.

Business Rule Currency Conversion and Carry Forward

Hello Guys,
I have a question related to the Business Rules Currency Conversion and Carry Forward
I configured the business rule "Currency Conversion" and I selected "Apply to Periodic". What this rules does with the flag selected is to get the value of the previous month converted and add the factor (Local Currency previos month - Local Currency Actual month) * Exchange Rate of Current Month
For Example: USD previos month +
This rule applies perfectly from FEB to DEC but if I run it for January, it does not consider the value of USD previos month and LC previous month for calculations so the result I get is:
(and of course it´s because it only applies to periodic)
I need to include into my results this amounts and factor so the question is: Is not a flag I can activate to force the system to act as it does for FEB to DEC periodic ??
I also set up the Business Rule "Carry Forward" so with this rule Im able to bring values converted in USD from DEC to JAN for example from a Data Source Input, but the problem is that it erase any other value I have in other Data Source members and I need to keep that info.

As you mentioned for P&L accounts the rule works fine; but we want to carry forward LEQ accounts. Is there a way to use or configure the currency conversion rule with the flag "Apply to Periodic" to carry forward LEQ accounts for the next following year?
Here is how we configured our Carry Forward Business Rule
Source and Destionation account = 4111
Source and destionation Flow= FCLO
Reverse Sign= False
Data Source Type= ALL
Same Period= False
Apply to Periodic=False

Batch derivation with fields in receiver search strategy Rule.

In receiver search strategy rule i wanted to give a character, but when i do so i get the below error message.
Instead of the characteristic , use the field

The characteristic you entered is assigned to an object characteristic and batch field .
System Response
Object characteristics cannot be changed.
You must make changes to the corresponding batch field. These are then copied automatically to the classification.

Instead of using the characteristic , use the field
Now this because in the character additinal data (TCode CT04) Value is coming from Table Name: MCHA and Field Name: CHARG.
Hence I decided to use the field CHARG in receiver search strategy rule. But when I did so i got the following error message
This field does not exist or is not allowed for derivation
Message no. VBDRV009
Please suggest as to how do i bring the filed in?

Hi Vinod,
Batch derivation is used to transport characteristic value from one batch (Sender batch) to another Batch of Header material (Receiving Batch) during Production / Process Order Execution.
Now field which you have assign CHARG is non another but it is field of batch No.itself and it is not possible to change Batch No. of Receiving Batch because it is already assign and can not be change.
You can use only those characteristic or fields which represent the characteristic of Batch for example Shelf life expiry, manufacturing Date etc.

For the class DemoPackage.OrderDetailsRequest, either don't import it into the datamodel or set the visibility of it to false. This should fix the issue.

Also, when you say that there should be a "More" button in the music app (I assume you mean the item under Settings) I am afraid there isn't anything like that either. The page has iTunes Match, Sound Check,EQ,Volume Limit, Group by Album Artist and then the Home Sharing section with my Apple ID and Password. That is all. Maybe I need to find a better User Guide for 5.0.1? Your further input will be much appreciated.

Not on my document. I have a 7 page document open. The "flashing vertical bar" is at the top of page 3. I have the thumbnail view showing. I click page break and two blank pages are added to the end of my document. I have to scrool thru the pages to see that the 2 pages were added as they do not appear in the layout view... I'm not sure if it is inserting a "section" as it adds two blank pages.. But I am clicking on "INSERT PAGE BREAK".. So guess there are still a lot of bugs to fix..

Selection of Distribution Rule in Incoming and Outgoing Payment

There is an option of selecting the distribution rule in Incoming and Outgoing Payment having transaction of Account type but the requirement is of having the selection of distribution rule having transaction of Customer and Vendor (Invoice wise and Payment on Account)

What is the purpose for distribution rules in Outstanding invoice list in incoming payment? I try to attach the analysis there and post incoming payment but it will not appear in Journal entries which defeat the main purpose.
The problem face by customer is that they had many outlets and finance department in HQ needs to monitor daily collection from each outlets.
The desired outcome by customer is:
Dr Bank [profit center=Outlet A]   XXX
Cr     Customer                                   XXX
Eventually print out reports in XLR as
                                 Outlet A     Outlet B    Outlet C
Bank                          XXX            XXX          XXX

How many Application Components are required?

Hi Vinod,
1) In integration repository you can have one or many software components it depends on your landscape orchestration
2) In integration direcory you need at least one service for bpm and one or many for each system in your bpm
also each connection between systems and bpm must have receiver determination and so on.
Advice: Please treat BPM as a separate system.

How to use Hashtable in Rules Engine. And objects within objects in rules

This is something to do with the JBoss Rules Engine.
I have an object called 'Employee' containing variables name(string), age(int), sex(string), an object Skill and other fields not relevant.
Now the Skill object contains name and desc as variables.
And now i have another seperate object called Test containing two hashtable: inputHT and outputHT.
i have appropriate data in each of the objects and the hashtable:
Employee e = new Employee();
e.setName("Name");
e.setAge(18);
e.setSex("f");
e.getSkill().setSkill("Trainer");
Hashtable ht = new Hashtable();
ht.put("age", new Integer(e.getAge());
ht.put("sex", e.getSex());
Test t = new Test();
t.setInputHT(ht);
Since this is something to do with drools rules: I have the appropriate code even for that.
Like obtaining the rules defined(.drl files) in a stream, constructing the package builder, rulebase and the working memory.
I will now explain u my .drl files(ie the rules that i have defined) and the error that i am encountering
when I have the rule as the following there is no error:
rule "testRule1"
when
e:Employee(age >= 18, sex == "f")
then
System.out.println("The lady can marry");
end
In the above rule we can see that only two simple variables contained in the employee object is being accessed and there is no error encountered.
But when I try to access the object "skill" in the employee object, the rule throws me an error when i am constructing the packageBuilder:

e:Employee(skill.name == "Trainer")
then
System.out.println("The skill is trainer");
end
The error thrown is : unexpected token 'skill' and many other dump errors and also error: expected token ')'
I tried changing the when clause as the following:

e:Employee(skill.getName() == "Trainer")
and also
when
e:Employee(skill.getName().equals("Trainer"))
All of them throws the same above error.
But at the same time if i access only object without its variables, it is working fine. Like:
rule "testRule2"
when
e:Employee(skill == "Trainer")
then
System.out.println("The skill is trainer");
end
The above rule works properly and does not throw any error. But it is not a valid rule. But syntactically it is correct. and does not throw any error during packageBuilder.
Similarly, the problem is with the Hashtable
The below code works fine, but rulewise it is not valid, but syntactically correct. and does not throw any error
rule "testHT1"
when
t:Test(inputHT == "f")
then
System.out.println("Print this");
end
But the following code throws error, telling unexpected token 'inputHT' :
rule "testHT1"
when
t:Test(inputHT.get("sex") == "f")
then
System.out.println("Lady");
end
I even changed the when clause, but did not get the appropriate result and it threw me error.
when
t:Test(((String)input.get("sex")) == "f")
and also many other variants but of no use.
It would be of great help if u or anyone else could reply to this with some solution
