Receiving a copy of all emails I send

Have a blackberry Curve 8530.   Every time I send an email from it, or even from my gmail account, a copy of that email shows up on my berry.     Thoughts?

I have that same problem, but only with one of my email accounts.  But, what I see is the original text, not necessarily the text that I send out in response.  Or, the email comes into my inbox again if I forward it on to someone.  These things happen when I take these actions from a computer, not my BB... Will hiding sent messages help this also?  And, specifically which sent messages are hidden? Email, txt, IM? Thanks

Go back into your email settings and make sure you don't have bcc turn on.

Stop copying yourself on the emails.

  • Long Time Archive of all Emails

    Hello,
I need to archived all emails going through the ironport gateways. For this purpose I'd like to use an linux dedicated archive box. This box needs to receive a copy of all email going thrue ironport. My question is :
How on ironport can I duplicate the mail to 2 mailhost. (Putting to mailhost on smtp route doesn't work because it's treated in a round-robin fashion.)
    Thanks for your idea.
    Regards.

You can configure a filter following something like this
    http://tinyurl.com/ylrrjcf
to bcc to a remote mta with a fixed mailbox. You just need not to include rule with specific rcpt.
But in my opinion, you should just archive it and let your linux box to scp the archive file regularly. They are nicely stored in mbox format and rotated. As long as you copy the archive soon enough, you wont miss any mail.
    i.e.
    Log-Alan-All-Mail:
    if (recv-listener == "InboundMail"){
      archive("all-outgoing-mail");

  • Copy all email sent to a user.

Lady that works for us has a stalker.
Boss wants me to copy all email she sends and all email she receives to a different mailbox on the same message store.
I don't really want to make channel filter and stick it on tcp_submit,tcp_local, tcp_intranet, tcp_auth.
    Is there a better way?
    7.0-3.01 64bit
    Thanks.

Is there a better way?You can use the LDAP_CAPTURE setting. The steps are described here:

  • Most email I send using warpdriveonline is received with the body blank. Haven't seen this problem in I.E. Not sure if it is the browser.

I am using webmail from USA Cable, which uses warpdriveonline. They are still researching my problem but think it might be browser related. Most but not all email I send is received with the body blank. It is also blank in my sent mail.

    Carole,
If it talks about your password it is probably a scam.
Take a look in your purchase history and see if there has really been a purchase.
Also you can refer to this document:  Identifying fraudulent "phishing" email

  • When sending an email it sends a copy to myself.

I'm using Gmail and turned off the 'Always CC to myself' option in the mail settings, but I'm still receiving a copy of the email that I sent. It's pretty annoying and I've looked throughout the phone and also throughout the Gmail settings but haven't found anything to change it. I also tried searching these forums and didn't come across anything, sorry if this has been posted before.

  • Mail in OS Mavericks HELP!!! Why do some of my emails not send despite the sent sound playing?

    Dear Mac Community
I have a MacBook Pro running OS 10.9.1 and everything is fully updated.
I use the Mac Mail programme to send and receive Gmail emails as I have done for many years.
Recently, I started to notice a worrying problem. Every 10 or 20 emails or so, (I haven't noticed a specific regularity), I write an email and press send. The mail seems to send fine and I get the sound notifying me it has left the outbox. However, when searching for a reply, I find that in fact it is not in sent items, and it has only been located in Archive - Gmail (all mail) or Trash - Gmail, and not in any sent folder. Indeed, when I ask the recipient if it has been received they say no.
Since the mail programme is telling me at the time of sending there isn't a problem, how can I ensure that all emails are sending correctly without checking 'sent items' every time I send one, which would be deeply frustrating. I've only noticed this a few times because key emails haven't been replied to - but it's possible that there have been several other incidences I haven't been aware of.
I don't know if this is related, but another similar problem occasionally arises, whereby an email pops in on my phone (iPhone 5s also using mac mail programme for gmail) but not on the computer. In fact I can't see it unless I click on the 'Gmail Archive' folder where it appears, and copy it manually into my inbox. The regularity of this seems to be equal to that of the former problem, which is why I wondered if it could be related.
    All help gratefully appreciated
    Thanks

In that case your email provider's server is having difficulties to deliver the message to the recipients email provider server.
This has got nothing to do with Thunderbird.
There is little you can do though. You may have the recipient to check with his email provider if they have any issues.

  • Mail saving all emails with attachments in "Drafts"

Since I upgraded to Mavericks (not Maverick or Maverick's...??) Mail has put a copy of every email I send that has an attachment into the "Drafts" folder.  The email has been sent and received by the recipient, and you can find it in the "Sent" folder as well.  Never had this issue before.  I can't find a preference that has any effect on it.
    Any ideas??
    Tks!

I'm using a PC for my email at the moment. I'm not sure if all my wife's emails have been downloaded. However, Mail has made a Home/Mail/MessageUidsAlreadyDowloaded file. This was created when I sent an email to test what happened. I was unable to make Mail download all her emails, so I guess they must have gone from the server. She has a different email address to mine, but it's run from the same ISP account; as I said, she logs in, automatically, through Mail to her email. I have contacted the ISP about it, but they are unable to see any trace of emails that colleagues have sent my wife and which she sends home to herself. All of these files happen to have attachments, but I cannot see any setting of Mail which would account for them being rejected. Also, I can't be entiurely sure that only emails with attachments don't get through; there may be others, 'unattached'.
    Thanks for your continued assistance.

A thumbnail photo appears on all emails we send.

Firefox is not an email program, so your problem depends on what site you are using for email. What site are you using?

  • I Always Get a Copy of my Emails

I have the iPhone 5 with iOS7 - never jailbroken.
Ever since I've had it, I've always wondered why when using my Gmail account configured on the phone it sends a copy of every email I send out right back to the Gmail address (and my phone).
I've checked and made sure the "always CC myself" button is off as well as any other setting that could possibly cause this.  Is this something with a Gmail setting?
    Thanks..

Are you using the iPhone email app or the Gmail app?  The phone app has an "Always Bcc Myself" that can be turned on or off...is this the one you have toggled on and off and made  sure is off?

Update - I now have it working.
am not really sure what exactly fixed it.

    outgoing server  - p06-smtp.mail.me.com
override default port checked - port now 587
on more options button changed it to "use incoming server info".

Sorry, no idea at this point with so few details to go on. It will probably help if you'll post what version of Mac OS X you're running and who your email provider is. Someone then may have some ideas.

T he general concensus to fix this is to turn off Facebook and iMessage for a couple of minutes. Then turn them back on again and it seems to get them activated.
