Receiving a [JavaScript Application] Error upon opening firefox (every time)
Hi, I just updated to the newest version of firefox (5.0.1) and every time I open a new firefox window (or right click a link and open in a new WINDOW) I get an error that pops up and prevents firefox from opening until I click "ok".
the error says
[JavaScript Application]
Type Error: comenents.classes['@simile.mit.edu/java-firefox-extention;1'] is undefined
Now, I have looked for that "extension in firefox but I can't find it to disable it.
can someone please help.

The message pops up multiple times whenever I reload certain pages.
The problem does not happen in Safari or Chrome.
I've restarted Firefox but it does not help.

Firefox 18 crashes upon opening Facebook every time
I just updated to 18.0 yesterday. Since then, Facebook will crash FF upon login without fail. I can get to the main page (where I'd log in) but as soon as my home page starts to load, Firefox is unresponsive. I haven't noticed any issue with any other websites.
Flash and Java are all up to date, and I've checked my plug ins. I didn't have any issues with 17.xx, whatever was before 18 on the Release Channel. Any possible solutions/ troubleshooting I may have missed?
I'm running OSX 10.7.5, FF 18.0.No such luck :(. Cleared everything (cookies, cache, etc) from Firefox and completely exited. Opened up Chrome and was able to get into Facebook. Turned off chat and logged out, but FF still crashes after I try to log in.

I have logged off and Logged back on . I've clicked on turn off computer in the start menu , and restarted the computer . I've click the turnoff computer in the start menu and turned off the computer . I've gone to a restore computer point, and there have been no changes to the computer . I've turned off my modem and restarted it . After shutting everything down I have turned off the power strip and power to all components . I have gone to the link that you supplied . In the task manager-- ending the entry for Firefox.exec did not resolve the problem.
I located my profile in the start menu In the run tab And entered %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\as instructed.
I received a cannot delete parent file is corrupted or unreadable. I then ran the Chkdsk (check disk )and tried the process again with no improvement . I have uninstalled Firefox, and redownloaded It. Still no improvement. I want my Firefox WHAAAAAAA -

Go to settings for google shortcuts, follow link to homepage and upload latest version, it has not yet been approved by Firefox, but works and solves the bug.

What does it mean when I log into Facebook and a pop-up comes out saying "[JavaScript Application] Error: jQuery("#fb_menu_account a", document).attr("href") is undefined"? I would like to know what I can do to fix this. The site ends-up running slow. I have tried clearing the cookies and cache, but that doesn't work.

Have been using Lightroom on my Apple computer for years. Now, ever since upgrading to Apple's Yosemite operating system I get an error message (150:30) every time I try to open a lightroom file.
