Receiving Adobe form into SAP directly from email

Hi All
I want to know if it is possible to receive a adobe interactive form directly from email into SAP where we can automate the upload of the PDF data. If so what needs to be done to get this working?

Hello,
I am aware its is possible to use "import" in SFP menu. But I don´t know how. I would like to assure you, you can just copy the layout in your source form (it was just some layout created in standalone LCD) and copy it into the opened layout (LCD in SAP) in your SFP transaction. Then the editor think you have just finished drawing that and everything works the way you expect.

  • Importing Adobe form into SAP (sfp)

    Hi Friends
I am trying to import an Adobe form designed in Live cycle designer outside SAP into SAP form builder (tcode SFP). The form imports fine in 'Layout' section of form builder but when I save it, it doesn't get saved. I mean if I save and try to open form later in SFP tcode the saved form disappears. The form also disappears when I activate the from in SAP builder (tcode SFP).
Am I doing anything wrong while importing pdf file or form designed outside SAP? Please help.
    Regards
    Sunny

  • Embedding an existing Adobe Form into a Webdynpro Application

    Hi Everyone,
I have an existing adobe form created thro transaction SFP and its working well.
I need to launch the form with a Webdynpro application now. I was able to embed the adobe form into the Webdynpro View. The View's context is supposed to pick up the context of the adobe form automatically.
However I am getting the following error - Either your Interactive form UI element is not bound to a context or a corresponding context does not exist.
I am not sure how to proceed coz the I executed the Adobe from in SFP and its working perfectly and obviously its bound to a context/ interface.
    Any Ideas?
thanks for your suggestions in advance !
    Liz

    Pradeep,
You are right. This time I could bind the context from my interface (even though it was ABAP based).
I have one quick one for you - you mentioned earlier that when we embed an existing form into Web. View, we cannot have an Interactive form even when we check the 'enabled' property. Can you throw more light onto this pls?
The runtime error that i am encountering now says :
Adobe Processing Exception: PDF is not interactive. Data can be only imported into Interactive forms.
the source text of error is:
    get result
    m_pdf_object->get_document ( importing pdfdata = pdf ).
    catch cx_fp_exception into lr_fpexc.
    raise exception type cx_wd_general
    exporting
    previous = lr_fpexc
and this exception is not caught ! I am still lost
    thanks again for your help!

  • Importing directly from bluetooth & directly from email attachments

Why isn't there an ultra simple way to import photos into iPhoto directly from bluetooth and from email attachments WITHOUT having to save the photos in a directory first and then import from the directory???
It seems dumb that I can't just zap photos directly from my mobile phone into iPhoto and even dumber that the "save" option for email attachments in Mail doesn't give a "send to iPhoto" option instead.

    ... and even dumber that
the "save" option for email attachments in Mail
doesn't give a "send to iPhoto" option instead.
It does under Tiger (OS X 10.4). When viewing a message with attached photos, click and hold on the small grey Save button next to the subject. At the bottom of the menu which pops out, choose Add to iPhoto. Done.

  • Weird character 'u00A4' display  at output of  ADOBE form in SAP for amount

When display pattern for amount field is set for ADOBE form in SAP, output displays ' ¤ '.
All display patterns shows '$' at the begining, but when output is generated it displays '¤'.
Advice me how to eliminate this. (or)
Is there a way to hide this character.

I am not saying this is your problem BUT I was troubled for quite a while by having unprintable characters imbedded within text fields.  It turns out that Ctrl V character was being embedded within text by user.
So I suggest that you view the data while in debug and do it in hex.  This was the only way I was able to see that I had a problem with the text itself.  Then I was able to add logic to filter for these errors.

  • Convert Adobe Form into Word Format

    Hi Friends,
My question is very straight forward -:
Is there any way / any Function Module to convert the adobe form into word format ? Is this possible ?
    Regards,
    Debi

Hello, could you please elaborate a little more? Have you tried this? What was the result?
I mean: Adobe forms are often very complex, I would like to know how does the result look like. I have no DMS/ DMS experience to try it myself so I thought you could describe some more details about this suggestion.

  • PDFs won't open directly from emails

Using Mac OS X 10.6.6, running Acrobat 9 Pro 9.4.1.
I have associated the PDF file format with Acrobat, using the Get Info menu, but cannot open PDFs directly from internet, emails, or by double-clicking on a PDF on my computer.
In order to open a PDF, I have to first save the PDF and then open it in Acrobat from the File > Open menu.
If anyone has a suggestion, I'd greatly appreciate it.

The version of system X for Mac really doesn't Matter. If you use any web Browser from Mozilla. SeaMonkey, FireFox, Camino and any Browser that uses the Gecko web engine, that normal.
Safari, iCab, and others that use Webkit take advantage of the included Adobe PDFviewer Plugin. PDF's except some types are shown directly. There are some types no matter how you have browser is set, will always be download first, before viewing the PDF.
I've sent bug report, after Bug report, after Bug report to Adobe to fix this byt after trying since the days X.2.8  I Guess it is falling on deaf ears. Or perhaps the developers just don't know how.
    Chrome handles PDF's differently.
There is a Plugin for Gecko based Browsers, that has been partially broken with AcrobatX on Forms with buttons that use a Graphic overlay. They don't work only the button without the graphic shows up.
Adobe has changed the way Graphics are inserted totally in AcrobatX, its almost impossible to insert a Graphic.  In Acrobat 9 its as easy as falling off a log. You inserted Graphic the overlay the button over top.
The plugin that still works (except partially broken in AcrobaxtX) is called PDFBrowser Plugin by Shubert of Germany. It even works with Webkit Browsers. But not IE.
