Receiving this error when downloading build 994254? Is there a work around?

If you download 5.7.1 from this link and then check for updates it will ask you to update to 994254. When you click "Download..." it redirects you to Digital photography software | Download free Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC trial instead of the update. This is the same problem that version 5.7 users are experiencing build 991162 - I got an update notification today regarding "New software for Lightroom is available!".
How do we update to the latest version?

For Flash Player, I would recommend downloading and installing the following file:

Thank you for responding. I still get the same 8971 error message after downloading the latest Quick Time. Earlier I had tried installing and reinstalling the whole Lightroom until I heard from you and that didn't work either. The slideshow plays great in Lightroom. It is just when I got to export video and it saves it--it looks as though it saves it okay--it just won't play it. But it sounds as though this is the area to focus on. Jean

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.
The previous version of Acrobat is showing 8 from CS3 Design Premium.
I did not get a chance to try another DVD drive or load onto another machine to test the disk. I will also have to note all of the errors from the reinstall failure.
I do see the original install folder created - C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0

Error Message When Downloading 4.2 for 3GS

When I try download 4.2 from my iTunes it will proceed to near completion and then an error message which says "There was a problem downloading the software...The Network Connection timed out." I know it says on there what the problem is but its not the correct reason because I've tried to download it many times using different WiFi connections after my internet at home (which has never failed me before) brought up that error. I tried it again at home and it is clear that it is not a connection at home that is the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can download the new 4.2. I have iTunes 10.1 already downloaded ( Which I downloaded using my home internet without any problems)

The biggest single cause of this are firewalls & anti-virus software on your computer. So, disable or uninstall all firewalls, anti-virus software, anti-malware, anti-anything and try again. But first, delete the existing .ipsw file on your computer in case it may be corrupted. You will have to turn on show all hidden files & folders to see it. It is located here:

Download error 5000 when downloading the LP for the Lifehouse Deluxe Smoke

I've been having this problem for the pass couple of days. I have been in contact with itunes and they were unable to resolve my issue. Wondering if anyone here is having this problem or had it and was able to resolve it.
So anyways I downloaded the Lifehouse Deluxe Smoke and Mirrors, and all the songs downloaded with so problem at all, but the LP would download, but whe it came to processing I would get the error. The first couple of times I was getting the 42003 error and after today when apple/itunes got back with me after running some tests and then going back to try and download the LP I'm getting the 5000 error.
Now I just download a free song with no issues at all, so I know my connection is fine. Itunes it saying that the issue is either with my computer or my ISP, but if that were the case then why was I able to download a song just now with no issues?

Luckily the problem seems to have vanished. I am not sure what happened but I think the reason was one of the browser extensions, thanks for the advice anyway!

You can always finish the downloads in iTunes on your computer and then the TV Shows to the iPad. Launch iTunes and go to Store>Check for available downloads. Finish the downloads and then sync the iPad.
As far as trying to finish the downloads on the iPad .....
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again.
