Are you trying to convert the file from within Reader, or directly via the ExportPDF website?
What operating system and browser are you using?
How large is the file that you're trying to convert? (There's a file-size limit of 100 MB.)
Is the computer that you're using networked?
Do other files convert without error?

Most people are going to see that message as a result of not properly closing Firefox, and then attempting to reopen Firefox. This problem is most likely to occur on Windows Operating systems, less frequently on Linux and Mac systems but not unheard of on any system.
Because you are on a Mac, I am referring you directly to an article that has been reworded for each operating system.

To properly close Firefox on your Mac use "Firefox" button -> Quit Firefox, and not with the "X" in corner of window which simply closes the window and not necessarily Firefox.
When you get stuck as you have described you must Force Firefox to terminate as described at the end of the article:

The iPad manual says this (bolding is mine). It could be possible that you can't send photos with your provider.

I get a 'conversion failure' message when I try to export a pdf file. The file has not been processed. An error has occurred which stopped the processing of the PDF. - How can I resolve this error?

I have a large manuscript and I separated each chapter to assist with the conversion; like I said, first 4 parts no problem, then conversion failure. I attempted to convert the entire document and same result. I specifically purchased the export to Word feature. Please assist. I initially had to export the Word Perfect document into PDF and attempting to go from PDF to MS Word.

I'm sorry to hear your conversion process has stalled. It sounds as though the problem isn't specific to one file, as you've been unable to convert anything since the first four chapters converted successfully.
So, let's try this:
If you're converting via the ExportPDF website, please log out, clear the browser cache, and then log back in. If you're using Reader, please choose Help > Check for Updates to make sure that you have the most current version installed.

Receiving Error Message when Combining Files

I keep receiving this error message when I try to combine my files together:
Your PDF conversion request failed.
There was an unexpected problem while combining your files to a single PDF file. Please try again later.
I have tried logging out and then logging in and trying to combine the files again as well as attempting later in the day and I still receive the same error message. Why am I receiving this error?

Please try to use 2 small/somple files to combine. If that does not work please let me know.
If one of your PDF files is an encrypted(no permission to open or edit) Combine FIle fails. You can open your PDF file in Adobe Reder then check "Security" setting from File menu > Properties >Security tab.
Please use other browsers to login at https://createpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html.

Then error indicates that the primary battery (the one you can remove and replace) has a hardware failure. You should run Battery Check in HP Support Assistant.

The message is : Either there is not default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the message request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

I am having the same issue, just replied to a different post on the issue. I am running Acrobat X Pro with Win 7 Pro 64-bit. This is a new PC, but my last PC was a 32-bit OS and I didn't have this issue. I was suspecting that it is due to the 64-bit OS.
Reading this post though, I am starting to wonder if there isn't something else going on. When I go to Edit>Preferences, I don't have anything related to email under Categories, or even within any of the categories listed. I am I missing a plug in or something? Or is this a component of a previous version of Acrobat?

Ipod Touch is receiving Error 50 message when trying to download movie. The download stops and is unsucessful. Followed techs instructions and deleted .tmp file from computer/cdrive/users/"computer name"/mymusic/itunes/media/downloads but same error keeps returning.

I note that the pathe you specifiedfor the ,tmp folder is different than that in the above article.
