Receiving error message on mac saying that iCloud can't connect to my account

I keep getting an error message on my Mac when it wakes from sleep that iCloud can't connect to my @me.com email address. It directs me to a link in system preferences, but everything appears fine there. My backups to my iPad and iPhone appear to be working fine. Any ideas? I'm not even sure that my Mac is connecting and syncing with iCloud at this time.

To me, it seems as though you have not SAVED your yahoo email password in your keychain... And because of this, everytime Mail is trying to fetch your email, probably every 10 mins, it has to ask for your password because it doesn't have it. You would have to enter it every time the program asks the server if there is new email. You can go into the settings for your account and add the password, assuming its not already there. If you add it to the account keychain you would not have to enter it again. The settings can be found in the preferences tab. Select your yahoo account and add the password in the box below your user name. When you close the window out, it will ask you if you want to save the settings. Click yes. This should fix your issue.

This has happened quite frequently to me recently: my Mail account on my Mac will randomnly say that it "Can't connect to the account Yahoo!" which is my primary email account. I experience the same issue. I am in contact with apple support who have as yet not been able to resolve the problem. To receive mail on my mac I first have to log into yahoo.com via a browser and then I can return to apple mail where mail sending and receiving works for a few minutes. After some time the connection between apple mail and yahoo.com breaks (even though I remain logged into yahoo.com) and I can no longer send and receive mail from my mac. I then have to log out and back in again to yahoo.com for the mail to again work in apple mail. This have been an issue since late June.

However, the DVD+R works on both my Dad's and my brother's laptops. My Dad's laptop is an iBook G4 with Mac OS X operating system, version 10.3.9. The DVD Player is version 4.0. My brother's laptop is a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X operating system, version 10.7.2. The DVD Player is App version 5500.26.1 and framework version 5.5.0. The DVD+R plays fine on their laptops, but will not play on mine.

yes, you can locate and copy a file from your HD to a USB key using UNIX commands. If you know the exact name of the file which you’re trying to locate, try this:
find / -iname filename -print
This command will search your entire internal disk for the particular filename. If you know that it’s within a particular user account, then you can save search time with this variation:
find /Users/username -iname filename -print
Either variation of this command will print all files found which have the given filename. Presuming that you’re able to identify the correct file, you can copy it to a USB key using the command
cp -p filename_returned_by_find /Volumes/USB_volume
If you’re not sure which volume name your USB key has, this command will show you what the possibilities are:
ls /Volumes

Your phone is disabled for some reason. Maybe you entered the wrong Passcode too many times. In any case you need to do just as the phone is instructing you to do. Start the latest version of atones on your computer and connect your phone. iTunes should guide you through the process of getting your phone working again. The iphone is not a storage device.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception being itunes purchases.
You need to copy everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to the new one.

With my iPhone 4S I purchased the NAVIGON Europe App, downloaded needed files and maps within the App and all worked fine. But when I try to buy certain add-ons via In-App purchase I get a window telling me that it can'T connect to the iTunes store and that I have to contact iTunes store support.
This is what I have already tried to make it work:
Reset my iphone via iTunes (set it up as new iPhone)
Changed itunes store payment option from Click&Buy to credit card
restarted iPhone several times
scratched my head
checked restrictions under settings in iPhone: all is correct; in-App purchases allowed
chewed my lip
finally sent a message to the itunes store support.. waiting for their answer
no changes so far. I still get the same error message.
Any ideas?
