Receiving stream over IPv6 network is not working

Hi!
I try to use JMF in IPv6 networks, but there is a problem. Sending a rtp steram is not a problem, but I can not receive a stream, becouse ReceiveStreamEvent and NewReceiveStreamEvent won't occure.
When I use a IPv4 Network there is no problem.
I checkt allso the send and receiven network packets on both computers. All packets arrive, so it is not a configuration problem, but it seems to be a JMF problem. I read allso the hints form the Monash university (http://www.ctie.monash.edu.au/DSS-IPv6/jmf-ipv6.htm), everithing seems to be correctly configured.
Does anybody has experience with JMF and IPv6?
Maybe anybody could test his own software in IPv6 networks to see if JMF is working with IPv6?

This is not the answer you're looking for,
I run run Mac OS X Server with a static IP address, and don't use DHCP with it.
If you're on an ISP line that requires DHCP addressing (dynamic addressing from your ISP, and not static IP), then use an external firewall as the edge of your network. The firewall fields the DHCP connection from the ISP, and also provides NAT. The firewall also provides the IP gateway router function for your network. And even with static IP, I use a similar configuration with the network configuration.
Within the network perimeter provided by the firewall, assign your own (private) static IP address for your Mac OS X Server box.
The Airport Extreme and Time Capsule boxes are nice WiFi devices and can be reasonable for small home networks and related connection, but are comparatively feature-weak firewall/NAT devices for use with servers. I tend to run these devices configured as Access Points (APs); as bridges, and to then serve the various network functions off of other LAN devices or off the Mac OS X Server boxes.

Did you do the Reset Network Settings as I described above?
There is no way to go back. You can try reseating your nanoSIM or replacing it. Or call your cell provider and have them check the provisioning on your phone.
Or Restore your iPhone from your backup in iTunes.

I have this problem too - and it is on a BRAND new iPhone 6 - I have definitively tracked the issue to the moment I upgraded to iOS 8.1.2 - and am beyond frustrated. My Iphone 4 network is not working in Malaysia as I offered for 2 month period by behalf of my company and when buy a sim card in Malaysia then I only realise there were no network and I bring to a shop and they upgraded my Iphone and it stuck on the activation part which require a network. iphone 4 and 4S have two microphones...bottom n top...sometimes top microphone is covered by the case or sheet as in my case..and when i just put off the case it was working fine.....i just got problem today and today it is solved again.....may be its ur case or may be ur case is a genuine hardware software problem...just for info

Wrt610n wireless network does not work after firmeware upgrade

I just updated my Wrt610n hardware version 1 to the newest firmware, it did finish with sucess, I did factory reset reboot and reconfig. But the wireless network does not work , cant connect computers to it. Did downgrade the firmware to the same it was and restore my settings but still wireless does not work. But router works fine with lan. Any suggestions? maybe the firmware tosted the router?

Update -
After last reset and reupgrade with the newest firmware for hardware version 1 I could config the router and connect 2 computers with wireless - but only for about 15 mín - then they lost connection and could not reconnect.
I did then get the newest update for hardeware version 2 - just to try and upgraded with that and got success, and now I have reset the router again and config it and those 2 computers are connected and have been for 1 hour now. So seems to be working - is it okay to have the firmware for hardware version 2 on my version 1 router?
Any thought what is going on - could it be that the other firmware had not loaded compleytle or?

After Hard Reset My Social Network is not working....

Due to Some problem I did Hard Reset to my C7 but now My Social network is not working.
I had reinstall the nokia software but still its not working properly.
In the Social network all the graphics are coming like picture with a cross.

Something is wrong because a hard reset will never leave the TC with green LED.

It sounds as if you need to call your mobile carrier.

I am seeing if I can get another battery even though I do not believe that is the issue. It keeps giving me vdd_under which I believe is under voltage, maybe it is just a faulty battery? It charges up like normal and functions normal (when plugged in, or above 90%) but it gives under voltage warnings and shuts down when in heavy use (using camera or going back and forth to imessage). When just sitting idle it doesn't seem to turn off until that 55-60% mark. It may just be a faulty battery because I feel I installed all of the other cables correctly when replacing the screen, and I don't think those connections should affect the battery anyway except for maybe the logic board cable (the 2nd cable to be unplugged after the battery cable) I guess I could clean that out as well with isopropyl just in case.
Any other suggestions would be helpful... and I will get back to you if a new battery helps. Thanks!

Primary network does not work, guest network does work

I updated the firmware on the Time Capsule, after which we had a power outage. When the Time Capsule came back up, after a bunch of fiddling around we discovered that although the primary network cannot connect the Internet through our phone system router, the guest network works fine. The primary network does not work with the guest network turned off. Resetting the Time Capsule had no effect.

After an entire day of messing around, we went into Airport Utility, selected Internet, selected DHCP, and changed DHCP Beginning Address to match the one showing on the guest network (172.16). Now the primary network can see the Internet.

Anytime you change networking hardware, it is always a good idea to perform a complete power recycle of your networking components.
I would recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
Power-down the modem, AirPort base station, and computer(s).
Disconnect the AirPort base station from the Internet broadband modem.
While all of the devices are powered-down, perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. This will get it back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration and make setting it up much easier, especially if you use the "Assist me" process within the AirPort Utility. (ref: Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule)
After the base station resets, go ahead and power it back down.
Reconnect the AirPort base station to the Internet broadband modem. For the Extreme and Time Capsule, be sure to connect the cable to the base station's WAN (circle-of-dots) port.
Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes to allow it adequate time to initialize.
Power-up the AirPort base station; wait at least 5-10 minutes. Note: The AirPort's status light may continue to flash amber after it has intialized. That is because, there may be some additional configuration items necessary, like setting up wireless security, before the overall setup is completed to get a green status.
Power-up your computer(s).
In this basic configuration, the AirPort base station will broadcast an unsecured wireless network with a Network Name (SSID) of Apple Network NNNNNN. Network clients, connected to the base station either by wire or wireless, should now be able to access the Internet through the ISP's modem. Once Internet connectivity has been verified, you can use the AirPort Utility to configure the base station for wireless security and any other desired options. Please post back your results.

Printersharing over my local network does not work anymore

I cannot figure it out.
'all of a sudden' (so it seems) my 2 printers in my network do not print printjobs from other macs in my network. It dit work. Nothing really changed, exept some system-updates.
print-share is on, awake out of sleep is on (network-tab). Really there is no reason that it would not work.
Still, ... it doesn't.
config:
- imac 27" 2011, software updated
- macmini 2010, software updated
canon ip4200, works standard on imac.
brother HL-2030, works standard on imac
The charm of the set-up was that I could have my printers in the office and still print from the livingroom (mac mini)
To try to solve the problem I moved the mac mini temporarily to the office, so I have it next to the imac.
Opening the section 'printers and scanners' and then pressing the '+' does however give me 2 differentviews:
- on the imac I get a sub menu, dropping down from the '+'
- on the mac mini I get a new window named 'add new printer' (this is hopefully the right translation - I am on a Dutch system)
This strikes me as odd. I never noticed this before. Maybe this is where the problem lies?

I did that. I think I did all I could think of: restart macs, adsl-router, the only place I did not look was my switch.
I use this thing because the build-in router in de ADSL-'modem' is 'only' 10/100 Mb. I want full use of my LAN, so I bought a switch. (I have a NAS for photo's, video and itunes. It is still awaiting to be used fully, but that is another matter).
I just solved the problem partly. ...
I just found out that the mac-mini was attached to the router, and the imac to the switch. I just connected both to the switch which solved the problem. Also connecting them to the router solved the problem.
So, ... my next question would be: is bonjour using a special port on my router that I should open, or is there some other reason possible? (... it has a build-in firewall ...)
It appears to be that the problem lies in the communication between the router and the switch.
... Just checked that, ... and it seems to work.
So next analysis would be ... bad connection? loose cable/connector/etc?

IPhone HE-AAC Streaming over Mobile Network (3G)

Developed an internet radio streamer using utilizing the html5 audio tags with jQuery and with a flash fall back for unsupported browsers, streaming through an icecast2 server. Upon testing the player on the iPhone Safari (iOS 5.0.1), we ran into a very peculiar issue.
When the iPhone is connected to WiFi, it streams perfectly using the HE-AAC V2 stream @ 64kbps 44.1kHz (the preferred codec for apple products). However, when the iPhone is connected to the 3G mobile network (ATT and Verizon), it "stutters/buffers" or stops streaming for 1-2 secs every 1-2 minutes (does not stop streaming completely). The troubling thing is when the iPhone is forced to use a separate MP3 stream at the same bit rate, it does not have this issue and works very well on 3G.

Thanks for the fast response. I'm confused as to how AAC requires higher bandwidth over MP3 when it can produce higher quality audio at lower bit rates therefore requiring less bandwidth to stream over 3G. Are you referring to the bandwidth of the audio signal itself (at the codec level)?
