Recent bugs? Click when clicking off/Related to the Sort Artist/Album/Track

I've had my G5 for about a year now and it bit the dust, 4 days before my year was up :-D So I got it replaced but since then I have noticed something odd. I have clicking turned off but I can still hear it faintly in my headphones.
Also, I began tagging my library with Album Artist and using Artist for a featured musician or remixer. Well to keep my sanity, I used the Sorting options to keep everything together in the transition. Well, after I got about 500 tracks tagged, I plugged in my iPod to sync and I have multiple duplicate artist entries on my iPod. I remove the Sorting options and it's fine. Is this a bug or feature No seriously, has anyone else experienced this? I have the latest iTunes update.

I'm also sometimes getting some feedback when I change songs, a sound that ramps up then the track plays. Possibly hard drive spinning up? I have had this issue with my last iPod, I technically have until tomorrow until my full year is up so I may take it in again.

No click when switching off

Since upgrading to IOS7 my wife's iPad Mini no longer clicks when switching off or closing the cover. Her sound settings are the same as my 3rd Gen iPad which still clicks, any ideas how to recover the sound please?

Settings>General>USE SIDE SWITCH TO>Lock Rotation.
Make sure sound is not muted in Control Center (little bell)

Do you place the ipod in the dock during the night? I did this once and the other day the battery was almost empty because it kept on playing after it rested in the dock.

Click wheel, why does it click when its off??

Ok, so i have an ipod fifth generation (a.k.a. video ipod). When i hold the play/pause button down to turn it off, it turns off fine. But then i spin my finger on the click wheel, and it's still clicking, although its off! Why does it do this?? Is it normal??

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I'd suggest first, checking that the printer is still connected to your network. To do that, please try Printing a Network Configuration Page. That page will indicate if the printer is still connected to your network or not.
If the printer is connected, please try this 'Printer is offline' Message Displays on the Computer and the HP Printer Will Not Print document.
If the printer is not connected reconnect it following the steps in this Setting Up the Printer for a Wireless network for the HP Photosmart Wireless e-All-in-One Printer Se... document.

Captivate TOC navigate visited slide only problem. Visited topic can not click when exit and open again the training.

Hi,
I have created the TOC and i want the learner just can click at the Topic they have visited. i have no problem at the first time viewing the training.
The problem is i read half of the training, for example I have Topic 1 - Topic 5, I just read until Topic 3 finish, then I exit the training. When i reenter the training, the Topic 1 - Topic 3 which i have already visited can not click, I can not review back those topic. At the TOC setting, I have enabled the Self-Paced Learning, Enabled Navigation, Navigate Visited Slides Only.
Is there any other setting I need to enable to make the learner can click at the topic they have visited when they exit and reopen the training?

I don't think you are understanding what I'm saying.
If you are using an LMS then the bookmarking you are currently using MUST be Resume Data bookmarking. It's the ONLY kind Captivate has that will work with LMSs.
If you are unable to navigate to a visited topic after resuming from the LMS then it's possible you've got some other setting in your project that is interferring with that navigation. For example, if you have NOT allowed Backward Movement in your Quiz Settings, then under certain circumstances that will mean you cannot navigate because resuming the lesson dumps you somewhere in the middle of the quiz and you're not allowed (by the settings) to go to an earlier slide.
Is that what you are seeing?

Anyone else experiencing static "pops", "snaps" or "clicks" when clicking play or stop in Logic Pro X ?

I'm running a brand new 27 inch 3.4 GHz Intel core i7 iMac with 8 GB's RAM and Logic Pro X. A real irritating electrical "Snap" occurs every time I click the play or stop buttons or whenever I activate these buttons using the space bar. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this a unique case or is this a concern to others as well. Botton line, how can I fix it? I never experienced this using Logic Pro 9.

Hah... thanks Pancenter! Sorry I left out some details about my situation. I've just migrated all my Logic 9 files/projects et cetera, from my old iMac to my new one. All I'm doing at this stage is monitoring my old work on my new iMac to continue my work using the build-in audio iMac speakers and/or head phone outputs. I'll emphasis that I'm only monitoring my previously recorded projects.
However, I'm just discovering that it is only the tracks where I have added a Channel EQ with the a strong gain asym turned up turned on. These tracks appear to be the culprits. In the case of aother tracks with no or normal EQ there is no "Clicking" or "Popping".

When i create genius playlist the sort album columns always comes out how can i remove this?

Generally setting a common Album title and Album Artist will fix split albums.
For compilations of tracks by different artists set the album artist to Various Artists and also tick Album is a compilation of songs by various artists if using the new version of Get info or set Part of a compilation to Yes on the Options tab if using the old dialog box (which you can invoke by holding down shift as you right-click > Get Info).

3g phone ringer all the way up but very faint, all sounds are very faint or none at all. Even the click when turning off is bearly audible. Is there a fix for this?

My phone volume has almost disappeared. Screen clicks, ringer all of it is bearly audible, sometimes not at all. Everything is on, ringer volume turned all the way up. Is there a fix for this on the iphone 3G?

I am simply lookig for some help not an argument. I am not an RF specialist however have setup a few wireless networks in my tenure at Wynn Resorts. I fully agree that wireless networking is an art and a science however the powers that be in Network Land have toughted wireless networking is the easiest and quickest way to get two computers to talk with one another. As I previously said I have already turned one (1) MBP in for this problem and Apple decided to replace it because they could not fix the problem with my particular MBP. This MBP was running Leopard when the problems started
I am having a hard time believeing that there are several other devicces in my home that depend on a wireless network to operate and my MBP is the only one having an issue. I took this a step further and decided to see what would happen if I tried to connect wirelessly via Fusion. In Windows 7 I am able to print and scan to my hearts content without any issues. I am able to browse the internet as much as I want. I close Fusion and try to connect to my printer via wireless and nothing.
In order to get Apple to help do I need to get a Network Analyzer and capture packets when I have these problems? Out of the 1000 + posts is there a consolidation of which answer is the best? BTW I am accessing the internet via a wireless connection using Fusion and Windows 7.
In response to Linc's comments, I will look at the router specifications however I did not qualify that these devices are not using the wireless connection at the same time. Right now I would guess there are maybe two (2) or three (3) at the most that are actively transmitting / receiving information. -- Thanks

Audio Clicks when clicking the user interface

Hello all, Has anyone noticed with Logic X that you get audio clicks and pops when you make moves inside logic.
For example when I select a different track I hear it. It is also noticable when I am manipulating Automation.

Got my Iphone unlocked recently and now when inserted new sim, all the apps got wiped out, tried syncing it again from itunes but still it isnt getting installed. Can someone help?

Recently I got my Iphone unlocked. Earlier I was using it on ATT n/w. After unlock i am using it in India with a service provider here.
The problem that I am getting is, the phone was able to pick up the network and am able to make calls and messages. Data plan is still to be activated so cant confirm on that, but all the apps that were there on my phone got wiped out on its own. Since I wasnt sure as to what happend, so I reinstalled the apps today morning. I saw the apps getting installed and then left to get ready for my office. after nearly 30 mins I saw nothing was getting syncronized so disconnected the phone and left for Office. On reaching office when I checked for my usual Apps, I could see only the apple apps and none other available there. Need to know whats the issue and how to resolve it. Please can someone help me on this?

I can not get to iPhone screen, so no way to get to Settings. That is the problem. When I connect phone to iTunes I get screen asking to insert SIN card. On the phone I'm getting Cinfigure screen asking Launguage , Country or Region, Wi-Fi, ( I can connect to my home wi-fi), and last screen "Activating your iPhone". After two minutes of waiting IM getting message: Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server in temporary unavailable. try connecting to iTunes or try later or contat apple.com/support.

Losing connetion pools when killing off sessions on the database

We are using webLogic version 6.1 as our app. We are currently experiencing a problem with the connection pools to our databases.
Problem: We have some jobs that run on our databases through connections pools via webLogic. When we kill the session of the job on the database side, all the connections using that connection pool from webLogic to that database is lost. We tried to re-target the connection pool through the console but this fails to work, thus requiring a bounce to the webLogic system.
Is there an explanation for this, moreover is there a solution to resolve this as this seems unacceptable in a live production situation.

I updated my iPhone and now none of the music on it will play. When I sync, I can change teh music selections on it, but they all won't play and are greyed out. Only the Playlists, Artists, Albums are black font, but all songs are grey and won't play

I recently updated my iPhone 3G to 5.0 (9A334) and it was somehow interrupted during restoration, or at least that is what it tells me. But it keeps making a new restore and adding it to a list, but never gets through without getting interrupted. anyways, I kind of got through all that, but now all the music on the iPhone won't play and is greyed out. I had some APPs greyed out, but they are not as important. Music is a huge investment in my life and this part of it has gone silent. I SYNC with my iMac. Resyncing doesn't help. I can change the selections, but can never get them to play on the iPhone.
Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue, i restored my phone to Factory settings, even tried restoring it to my backup, half of my music bought from itunes won't play on my iphone and i'm super annoyed, this only happened once i updated to ios 7.2 so i assume its another glitch to go with my imessages not sending, getting sick of this.

Can the magic mouse be set to emulate a right click when tapped?

I recently purchased an Apple Magic Mouse.
I also have a MBP with a track pad which I have configured to do a right click when I tap it.
The small problem I have is that the AMM needs to be pressed similar to the way the track pad used to before I configured the tap-to-click.
Can this be done for the magic mouse.

The screen where you make the choice looks like this:
Keep in mind, the mouse should be used with the Apple logo at the base of the hand and should provide the "click" sensation when you tap the other side with finger tips.
