Recent software upgrade from MF1 to ML1, internet freezing.  Help please.

I recently did the latest upgrade to my phone, Samsung Galaxy S3, and everything is fine.  However 90% of the time I am using the internet or google app, the pages freeze.  I never got an error message ever before, but now I get a pop up message that says web page has become unresponsive, with an option to either WAIT or CLOSE PAGE.  Is there anything I can do to get this to stop?  Or should I download another internet app to use?  I feel like it would just end up the same.
Please help if you can.  Thank you.

    No need to worry Everyone82! We would be delighted to assist with this issue. It simply sounds like the software was not fully installed properly. Have you attempted to erase the cache of the browser? Have you completed a full restore since update? Please keep us posted, thanks!

    Hi everyone, as a former Virgin media fibre customer who moved house two months ago and decided to go with Sky at our new property, We initially decided to try Sky broadband unlimited and see if we were happy with the speed. After a couple of months we have decided to go for Sky fibre unlimited and placed the order two days ago at the weekend. Please forgive my ignorance here, but am I right in saying that unlike Virgin media, Sky fibre isn't installed by an engineer any more and that the fibre part of the installation goes to the green cabinet? Also I already have the black hub supplied when we took out broadband in May so will there be any change to the physical wired connection at the master phone socket? I wasn't expecting fibre being installed this way and it has thrown me a bit lolmany thanks Rich

    You are right - the fibre conections that Sky and the vast majority of ISPs provide is FTTC (fibre to the cabinet) which means fibre to the green street cabinet, and the normal phone line form there to your home,. The black hub is fine for fibre

I've tried to fix it and seem to have made things worse, my iPhone now has a long list of calanders that I don't want and can't delete and nothing is uploading to my macbook.

    You need to look at Mac's iTunes, check  > System Preferences > iCloud.
    If you use iCloud for Calendar, Contacts then turn off those items in iTunes, Info tab with your iPhone connected and selected.

    I presume that you mean that the switches do not light up as appropriate when you select a Patch in MS?
    If so, in Layout Mode, select each of the buttons in turn, and check that they are a) Assigned to the correct MIDI CC number etc, and b) that "Send Value to" has the correct Port selected.

    The option to update without the computer (Over the air) was made available with iOS 5. If your iDevice is using a version of iOS lower than 5, you will need to use iTunes on your syncing computer to perform the upgrade. Use the Apple link below as a guide for the upgrade.

    that happens for people who used icloud for everything but contacts. When they updated and went through initial
    set up, signing into cloud enabled everything including cloud for contacts. Since they had zero contacts in cloud, cloud cleaned out their contacts, but synced everything else that icloud has, like calendars, reminders etc. If those contacts were never backed up anywhere - they gone. If there is back up in cloud, it needs to be restored.
    Contacts sync in the cloud need to be turned off, right after restore.

    Problem Solved.....call ATT and they gave me the information I needed....account is a PPPoE.  Use your ATT email address as the username, and then ATT provided the network password.  Enter the information, update, restart.  Now, internet access is achieved.

  • ASA5510-BUN-K9 software upgrade from 7.0(4)12 ??

    I just purchased this firewall from govconnection.com and wondering about software upgrades. It has above ASA version software and ASDM 5.0(4) software.
    It appears I need to somehow attain PICA and verification keys and whatnot - I've inquired with my seller to see if they can provide that -
    but also curious if the newer version of software is desireable enough to jump through all these hoops? Or perhaps I'm missing some simpler method of updating software on this unit?

    Basically, if you just buy an ASA (or any Cisco box) without purchasing any support then you get what's called "warranty", which entitles you (usually) to 90 days of hardware support and software maintenance updates.
    Unlike IOS, it's not too well documented what qualifies as a maintenance update on ASA but it's probably only the latest build of 7.0(4) if your box came with 7.0(4). Within 90 days the hardware replacement SLA is 10 days - after 90 days it's time & materials at Cisco's discretion.
    The point I'm trying to make is that Cisco's warranty is rubbish - you're more or less forced into buying smartnet whether you like it or not (unless you're in the habit of discarding failed hardware and simply replacing with a handy spare..)
    That said, smartnet has fantastic value, as follows:
    1) new hardware delivered with or without an engineer (up to 24x7x2)
    2) a license to install any and all software updates (for your purchased feature set)
    3) Access to the TAC 24x7

    So, whenever you buy Cisco kit you should always be thinking about buying a smartnet contract (there are separate services to cover IPS devices, and software-only products like callmanager) unless you only want it for 90 days and you don't care about the 10 day warranty replacement SLA.
    Finally, if you really don't want the hardware support, but you do want the software, then you can simply purchase the particular version you want for a one-off payment (but it won't be very cost-effective if you upgrade a lot - and a years smartnet contract might even be cheaper..)

    i downloaded an upgrade from itunes last night to os5.1 i think. it said there was a problem with the download. now my phone will not work at all. it just has a picture of the itunes logo ans a picture of a usb cable on it. my computer will not recognise phone either

    Try rebooting it and connect. Make sure you're connected directly to a USB port using the Apple USB cable.

    I've inherited a BNC-2090 I/O unit with a PCI-MIO-16XE-50 board and NI-DAQ
    6.9.3 driver. This is all fine except the biobench v1.2 software for NT/95
    is not good enough for us. I need to have real processing and analysis over
