Recent Update; Basics Failing Me

So, I finally updated Firefox but now I cannot SCROLL on any website. When I right-click on a link and request that it "open in a new tab" and entire new window opens instead. Everything is taking much, much longer to load and I don't have any idea how to fix these things. Luckily, I have a cold, its my daughter's nap time and haven't any work to do right now. I am retreating to a smoothie and a movie and hope the next time I open this dumb ole thing these basic features work properly. I did restart the whole laptop as well as Firefox itself. I'm sure my cold is making this far more complicated than it actually is...

You know that is the strangest part. Many people that I talk to say the same thing. It is intermittent and started out of nowhere. I realize that a moving target is the most difficult to analyze and deal with but I know that many Apple users are starting to feel left out in the cold. I am not an expert and would not pretend to be. I am a musician that was convinced that Mac was the way to go because of it's rock solid performance and ease of use or so I had been led to believe. I am very frustrated and just want to get on with the creation. This is not what I had thought it would be... I had added new RAM and the timing was terrible because a bunch of updates went through at the same time including a plug-in Manager update. Once I recognized that there was issues with the sound, (when I was demoing for a potential client) I switched the RAM back to my original which never had an issue but the problem persisted. Is it possible that I may have to zap something to reset the CPU or something? My computer tests show that both the Kingston RAM 2x2ghz and the Samsung RAM 2x1ghz (original) work fine so I do not think that that these are the issue. I am going to take it to an Apple store which is a couple of hours away but this is an inconvenience that I was hoping to avoid not to mention any associated costs that I may incur. I may have to sell the Macbook Pro to afford the gas to get there.

ATV3 After Recent Update Activation Failed(Skipped)

I'm a new user to apple products, I bought ATV3 couple of weeks ago. It was working fine. I used AirParrot to mirror my PC (Win7) and airplay was working fine on my friend's iPhone. After a restart (I guess it was updated to iOS 7), I couldn't mirror my PC nor run music from my iTunes. I can only see my shared libraries from ATV3 GUI.
I tried to reset, but i got activation failed. I tried all the rest options (Restore All settings, Restore and Restore from iTunes), all led me to the same results, activation failed and no mirroring is available neither from AirParrot nor iPhone.
Please help.

- The DNS is already set to Auto. I modified it to manual then automatic again.
- I tried Ethernet, restarted a few times.
- I didn't change the location of the Wi-Fi, specially it is located in the same room. Youtube is working perfectly via ATV.
I can see my iTunes library on ATV, why I can't mirror any device??
If downgrading will fix the problem, I'm willing to do it.

XBMC fails playing some files after recent update

Hi,
I am unsure as of what happened but after a recent update, XBMC fails playing some files. I can't see much in the logs; no error except a segfault in XBMC reported by .xsession-error. I am using the integrated Intel video card (Ivy Bridge) of an i3.
Searching a bit revealed that issues have been found with VAAPI but this was a while back. libva-intel 1.3.2-1 hasn't been reported as erroneous so far...
Can anyone confirm this so I can be sure it is not my system that is in fault?

Thanks, Andy. That seemed to do the trick. Not sure how to edit this project, though. Not sure how I split the clips on one drive, and the final output on another. Ideas on how to join them up? I hesitate to move anything around since FCPX seems so sensitive to any moved files.

Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Right after i click ok i then get this error: "Itunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall Itunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)." I tried to uninstall Itunes and then reinstall the 11.03 version but that didnt work either. I want to know if i copy all of the music in my itunes folder to an external without consolidating can i still transfer all my itunes music from my current windows xp pc to a brand new one and have my current itunes library in my new pc? Basically i just want to know 3 things: What exactly does consolidating the itunes library do? Can i copy, paste, and transfer my itunes library to an external and from there to a new pc? Will i be able to transfer my itunes library without consolidating the files?

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). If the crash started right after you added RAM, it could be a bad Ram dimm. You can try this - change the amount of RAM in Photoshop to 4G, this should stop Photoshop from using the higher ram. If it doesn't crash, it's probably the ram. Or run a diagnostic app. You don't say when it crashes, what you're doing when it crashes - it there a pattern? Did it ever work on this computer? Did it work on your previous computer? Without a lot of data, it could be related to the new computer... What OS version? Did you recently update it? Have you updated Photoshop to the most recent update?
Do you have any plug-ins loaded? Try restarting Photoshop, and immediately press & hold the shfit key to turn off plug-ins.

Did this ever get resolved, as I am having the same issue. Trying to learn LR5 AFTER a decade using Aperture. I was able to set up a validated account but when I try to send an e-mail or photo I get the simple " Failed to Send " message. Using latest version of Mac OS X.

uninstall acrobat, clean (if windows os), Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and then reinstall.

IPad Fails to Restore after recent update through iTunes

iPad failed the recent update and now fails to restore with a 1014 error code. I tried all of the items listed on the Apple site regarding restoring an iPad. Any ideas?

It looks like it's a problem with the swt libraries?
Steps I've tried to solve this problem include:
* Reinstalled vuze, built vuze from AUR
* Reinstalled JRE. Uninstalled JRE and tried openjdk6
* Installed SWT from extra and copied new swt.jar to /usr/share/vuze
* Downloaded new SWT (64 bit) from eclipse homepage and tried that instead
* Tried starting as root
* Removed ~/.azureus
No luck.
I'm really at a loss here. I hope someone can give me some insight into this mystery.

Sounds to me like "AVG Safe Search" if you have "AVG Free" installed then you get the extension. Follow the directions on the page below and also check your other extensions for potential problems.

What OS version? What's the exact error? Exactly when does the error occur? What previous versions? What is on the screen when the error displays? Does Photoshop get fully open?

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...
