Recent update from ios 7 to ios 7.1 has caused my wifi button to grey out on my i phone 4s, and caused battery usage problems on my i phone 5s
Can anyone solve this problem, I have been told just to wait
for the next update which will fix it.
If your phone is in recovery mode, all data on it are gone. Certainly before performing a software update, you backed up your data and imported your important photos onto your computer, right?

My iPod updated by itself without a wifi connection. It told me to connect it to iTunes so I did and I updated the software and everything. Is your iPad connected to power ? I think that if you are running on battery and the charge level is below a particular level (maybe 50%, I'm not sure) then it may prevent you installing the update as a precaution so that it doesn't potentially go empty during the install.

I recently updated my iPad to iOS 8 and still checking on the settings. When I happened to swipe on my screen for too long, it zoomed and I can no longer see what's on it. I can not even unlock it. I can not use my iPad anymore. What shall I do?
Try double tapping with three fingers and see if that reduces the screen image. If it does, unlock the iPad and go to Settings>General>Accessibility>zoom>Off. If double tapping with three fingers doesn't work, try triple tapping the home button instead.

You updated you're phone to 7.0.6? Thats impossible since you can only update to the newest OS version Apple released which is currently 7.1.1. Unless you updated before April 22 and just now posting you're question.

I just updated my iPhone 6 to IOS 8.3. My safari will not let me search anything. If I type in a website URL, the Go button is greyed out. If I type in something to search on google, I press Go and nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

After recent updates from Apple the mail icon on the bar will not open. Only way to access mailis through Google, rather than the dock.

A general repair to fix odd behaviors in Mail is Mailbox > Rebuild.
Try booting in Safe Mode.
Boot and when you hear the bong hold down the Shift key.
It will boot slowly. Be patient.
Login the the user account.
Restart.
Another fix:
Shut down Mail.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Copy and paste the following
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/
Click Go.
Move all "Envelope" files to your desktop.
Restart Mail and let it convert/reindex your mailboxes.
If this worked, Trash the Envelope files file that are on your desktop,
if not shut down Mail and put them back.
Another fix:
Shut down Mail.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Copy and paste the following:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.mail/Cache.db
Click Go.
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Restart your Mac and try Mail.
Another fix:
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Copy and paste the following
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/
Click Go.
Move all the Accounts.plist to your desktop.
Restart Mail.
If this worked, Trash the Accounts.plist file that is on your desktop,
If not shut down Mail and put it back.
You can try restoring mail from a Time Machine backup.
Hold down the Option key and in the Finder Go > Library
Enter Time Machine.
Select a date and time from when Mail was working.

What graphics card is installed?
Have you looked inside to see if the interior is dusty?
Is the graphics card dusty?
If equipped, is the fan on the graphics card turning?
Leopard uses the graphics card harder than Tiger, so weakness in the graphics card is more easily shown. -
