Recent upgrade to ios5 multiple windows view

I loved the multi windows view in the previous iOS prior to upgrading to iOS5, is that view no longer available?

I assume that you are talking about the Safari browser. Safari now uses tabs and the mutliple windows feature is gone.
There are other browsers - iCab Mobile is one - that do have a similar feature to the mutiple windows view in Safari.

Thanks for your response, I forgot to add that the five 3uk sims we have in use, I have tried all of them none of them are recongnised non of them have pin codes, I even purchased four more sims Tmobile (original carrier) Vodaphone, 3 and giffgaff.

Have you got notifications muted ? Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. The iPhone "thinks" it's a new iTunes libarary because your computer has a new operating system. As long as all your music and other media is on your computer, you will be fine. The iPhone will be erased because it "thinks" it's a new iTunes library, and the "new library" (which is actually your unchanged data) will be put back on.

I had put off upgrading my iPhone 4 to the iOS6 and only gave in to it about a week ago when I thought that the trouble I was having with a select few apps was because of my outdated operating system. Now, I'm regretting it terribly and would either like to know how to revert back to iOS5 or fix this irritating as all **** and unproductive system. I had backed up my phone right before upgrading thinking that that way, I could just restore to it if I didn't like iOS6, but now I'm seeing that restoring to that point does not in fact restore firmware.
Now I have a maps app that won't help me plan through public transit.
An email app that will not update my inbox or any box even though it falslely says it checked and there was simply nothing new.
Every other app I have crashes constantly.
When I turn on the iPod/music function, there's an extended delay before the music will actually start playing.
The shuffle function is messed up (if I'm playing a tracklist of 38 songs, it will only shuffle a few of them and just keep looping through those few tracks).

My contract is almost up and I was hoping that all the negative stuff I had heard about iOS6 would have been resolved by now so that I could confidently by the next iPhone, but at this rate, I'll be ditching Apple's phone entirely.

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

The ipod/iphone/ipad are not backup sotrage devices.
Certainly you did not upgrade your computer without making sure that your backup copy of your computer was up to date. Just use your backup copy of your computer to put everything back.

Multiple windows don't work properly since v8 upgrade

I just upgraded to v8 from v6 and now I am experiencing problems working with multiple windows.
Problem 1: I will open a web page in a new window (window B) and then click back to the original window (window A) while window B continues to load. When window B finishes loading it automatically pops back to the foreground interrupting what I was doing in window A.
Problem 2: When I move to a background window (B) the image of the foreground window (A) stays on the screen, but if I roll my mouse over the window the graphics of window B appear as my mouse moves over them, but the page never fully displays properly until I click back and forth again between the windows.
Problem 3: When I close a window in the foreground there is considerable lag (2-3 seconds) before the foreground window closes and the window underneath redraws.
This happens with a variety of web sites, but is more of an issue with sites with many graphics and little text. This problem does not happen when working with multiple tabs inside the same window.

The only solution I have found is to open Activity Monitor.app in the Applications/Utiilties folder and search for Dock in the search area in the upper right hand corner of the Activities Monitor. When the Dock comes up select it and hit Quit Process. That will reset the dock and the hot corners will work again. They will work until they stop again. Surely there will be a real fix from Apple soon.
I tried it and it works. Much easier than rebooting. Hopefully a permanent fix will soon come from Apple.

A larger monito is only helpful if the resolution is the same as your current monitor, and they tend to have higher resolutions as you get larger, so don't rush out an buy a larger monitor and expect miracles. If you have a 22" now and it's "HD" (1920 x 1080), you'll see some change as you go up in size, but you'd probably need at least a 27" screen at 1920 x 1080 to notice a real difference.
Right click on the desktop and choose Screen Resolution and you can see the current settings (probably the maximum value which is recommended) and other settings you can use. Lowering the resolution will make everything on the screen larger, but less stuff will fit. Used to be, too that ID did not work will at less than the maximum resolution setting for any monitor.
I did not mean to use the larger fonts feature, by the way, as far as I know that doesn't affect the ID user interface.
The point I was making, rather badly, is that those of us with declining eyesight are getting shafted because there is no way to make use of all the monitor potential and adjut the user interface to make things visible. I just bought a 30" monitor to replace my old 27" which had 1920 x 1200 resolution and was pretty usable, things were about the same size as my old sony 20" running at 1600 x 1200, but even though it is larger in terms of screen size, the new monitor is even higher resolution and things are actually smaller. The only reason I can use it with ID is I know where everything is.

You are allowed to have two activated installations. If you happened to have one on this Windows 8 machine before, it is possible that the activation used for it was never deactivated (did you deactivate it before you upgraded Windows?). Talk to Adobe support thru chat. They might be able to resolve this with you:

All my music has gone from i tunes library but it is all stored in Windows music folder(s). How can I move it all to my i tunes library?

So your iTunes library is now empty after the upgrade?
Simply drag the one folder (containing all of your music) into your new empty iTunes library or choose File -> Add to Library in iTunes.
Otherwise, if they aren't all in one folder, you'll have to drag each seperate one into iTunes.
