Recently my itouch will not fully open articles from the yahoo home page. The article starts to open but as I scroll down the page there are blacked out and whited out sections. Te "reader" option opens the full article.
I can look at the yahoo home page and open the links to articles, but the articles do not fully open unless the reader option is available and I use it. So far this has happened only from yahoo or some links emailed to me. I have done a hard reset but not a restore.
- Double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 3G 4G only has 256 MB of memory.
- Next try going to Settings>Safari and Clear Cookies, Data and History
- Have you looked at the previous discussions listed on the right side of this page under the heading "More Like This"?
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Here is the contents of a batch file which will convert whatever raws you drop on it:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe DNG Converter" -cr7.1 -dng1.4 -p0 %*
Once you download the latest converter (release candidate from adobe labs, if necessary), and save the appropriate contents of the batch file (change path to match your system, and parameters to match your druthers, if applicable), the procedure is:
1. Drop raw files on bat file.
2. Import as usual (the DNGs).
Not too bad once you're set up (if DNG converter supports your raws).

Note: on Mac, you may need to use "$@" (with the double-quotes) instead of %* (which is dos batch syntax), and you will need to use the full path to the converter executable file, e.g.

If too much, just use the GUI instead of the bat file.

4th gen iTouch will not fully synch with new computer
When I originally bought my iTouch, I synched it with a computer that has since died due to a hard drive crash. I have connected it to my new laptop, but it will not allow a full/true synch because it senses that this computer is not the original one. Is there a way to fix or remedy this? I would like to update my iTouch to the newest iOS, but I'm afraid I will lose songs that are on my iTouch and not my iTunes on the computer. Installing the new iOS completely wipes the device, so before I do it, I need to be able to synch completely.

I have bought several tv seasons from the itunes store. Recently some episodes will not sync with my ipad. The error message is that the file "could not be read or written". Previous episodes of the same series synced successfully. Also while watching the same episode on my laptop (Mac Book Pro) it freezes.
I had this same message appear today when i was putting new music on my ipod touch 4th gen. The only difference is that I wasnt using an external drive. I was using the one on my computer. This is the first time i have had this problem

“AdbeRdr11003_en_US.exe” is the download installed on our CEO’s new Windows 8 laptop. It is a Dell XPS Re: Windows 8 Adobe Reader will not fully open a pdf compiled with several pdf's into one - why? Dell XPS 13" . It has a full install Windows 8 Professional for its’ Operating System.
I’ll attempt to attach the file in question. The file opens fine on our Windows 7, and XP computers (with the proper Adobe Reader on each).
Our CEO says there is a message that comes up saying he needs Adobe Flash. I’m attempting to find out whether or not he is trying to open it the ‘Metro’ view, or the ‘Desktop’ view – no answer yet.
If your system strips the attachment, let me know, and I’ll upload the file to an ftp site {if necessary}.

Time Machine will not let me restore from recent backups. I can see them on the external drive but will not restore sooner that June of 2013! Any suggestions?
All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.

Unpairing a Bluetooth accessory from an iOS device
If you've paired your iOS device with a Bluetooth accessory and no longer wish to use that accessory, you may unpair it. If you wish to leave the device paired, but route calls through a second, paired device, turn off the first device and then turn on the second device. Then in Settings > General > Bluetooth, tap on the device you wish to use.
From the Home screen choose Settings > General > Bluetooth. If Bluetooth isn't on, turn it on.
Choose a device and tap Unpair.
Until you pair the Bluetooth accessory again, your iOS device won't route information through it.
* Find information on which iOS versions and devices support which Bluetooth profiles. Not all Bluetooth stereo headphones include a mic. Only those with a mic and that support handsfree profile (HFP 1.5) can be used to make and receive calls. -

The button is unhighlighted as well therefore it won't even let me fix it or choose a wifi network-any network!!!!!! So i can't access NOTHING!!!! Our other new itouch's work fine (im using one right now lol lol) so it isnt my wifi/router.... My itouch is old lol, I've had it for 4 or 5 years and it's cracked up etc...lol lol. But it still works great, however, it was out of commission for the past 5 months cuz my computer was not working to sync it and it wanted me to "connect to itunes" and i couldnt at the time...(plug it in to sync).... And now my computer and iTunes are working and the itunes software is updated as well. So i have synced my itouch and said itouch is working and restored however it will not allow me to access my wifi settings. The button is unaccessable and unhighlighted as i have stated above already and am in the process of syncing and restoring said itouch again!!! Which should take another full day or two lol lol omg!!!

I need to install iWork 09 so I can open the many pages document files that will NOT open under the new pages 5. Mavericks will not accept an install from my iWork's 09 CD. How do I get around this?
Hi, I'm helping StringSinger2 with this problem.
The previously installed version is Pages 3.0.3 (the same as from iWork 08). This version (Pages 3.0.3/iWork 08) is incompatible with Pages 5.
That is why it would be helpful to install iWork 09, which is the version between the two. It will open the older 08 files, and its saved files are readable by the new Pages5.
SO...
When I try to install iWorks 09 from my retail DVD the error message is "the installer is damaged". (I know the dvd is good, I installed iWorks09 to my laptop today.) Is the "installer" part of the system files? And - If that is damaged is there a patch for that?

My iTouch will not restore becuase for some reason it won't reconize it. I merely tried to update it with the newest software and every thing went to sh--. Now it is just stuck on the screen showing the apple sign. Can anyone help me.

After I updated my two Iphone 4's and my Itouch bluetooth problem occurred on two of the three devices. One of the phones and the itouch will not keep the bluetooth on. When you go to the general settings to turn it on it show on and the icon pops up but as soon as you leave the general settings the icon disappears and will not show up in the home screen. It will not pair with any devices. It will search for and find them but won't pair because the icon will not show up meaning it is off. What can i do to fix this problem that I believe was caused by the update.
Sounds like we have a similar problem. Four days ago I was playing music through a wireless Bose speaker via bluetooth and everything was fine. Then I was texting while listening and got 2 texts about the same time as I was typing one and my phone went black. I pushed the home button and it worked, went into my texts and all were there. However ever since then the time isn't right, so it can't keep time no matter what I do. The bluetooth works only at times, the wifi keeps jumping on and off, sometimes my data won't work and the other day I couldn't even turn it off, so had to wait until it died. The battery life display at that moment wasn't correct either. Took to Verizon, they couldn't help. Suggested a factory reset, which I did last night and still the same issues! One day I couldn't even text my husband on his iPhone. Just wouldn't work at all. Did everything suggest and still not good. Seems like after stalking these pages today a lot of people are having this problem in Dec/Jan and of course also I'm 3 weeks out of my 1 year warranty and so were many others, by days. Very strange, and all on the 5C. What did you do? Is it working now?
