Recently updated iMovie to version 10.0.1, and it won't export (share) video anywhere
I am using a MacBook from 2009, and I recently upgraded my OS to Mavericks, and soon after I upgraded iMovie to the most current version, 10.0.1., but since I did this, none of my video projects will share or export anywhere - youtube, Facebook, my desktop, even "theater
I am especially frustrated because, in general, this version of imovie seems more difficult to use.
Can anyone offer assistance?

I should add that some people are getting an "error rendering 50" message when they're doing what I'm trying to do. I'm not even getting that. I simply click "share," and have directed the file to go to either Facebook or my desktop, but all that happens is that a thumbnail appears in "theater" with a message that the movie is being created, but nothing else happens.

I recently updated iTunes to version 11.5.5, and now my iPhone 5 will not sync up completely with iTunes. ITunes will recognize and sync up, but I now cannot manage my music on my phone. Recently updated Numbers to Version 3.5.2 and now also seem to have Numbers Version 2.0 on my launchpad? Can anyone explain how this has happened - how do I get rid of it? Not able to move to Trash.
What is strange however is that my iMac is only a few months old and they all were upgraded to V3.x just a few months ago - with all Apps for iWork removed at that time.
Unless you did something specific to remove the old versions of the iWork apps (not advisable) then, as Wayne points out, they were not actually removed from your Mac, just moved into that subfolder within your main Applications folder.
I originally downloaded Numbers 2.x from the App Store (i.e. didn't install from a disk). I still have it on my Mac. But only Numbers 3.x appears in Launchpad.
I don't know whether this will help, but in Mac App Store you might try clicking 'Account' under 'Quick Links' on the right, signing in with your password, and clicking the 'Reset' button to the right of 'Reset all warnings for buying and downloading'. Sometimes the App Store gets a little confused. It's possible Launchpad may be taking its cue from the App Store in showing that old version of Numbers.
By Launchpad I assume you really mean Launchpad, not the Dock. I usually use the Dock. If that's what you're using too, then of course you can just drag the icon for the old Numbers off the Dock and it will vanish. (But the Numbers 2.3 application will still be there in that subfolder when you need it.)

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.) -

If you don't have them backed up somewhere, then there's little possibility of recovering them. There are some utilities that can in some cases recover an inadvertently-deleted photo, but I've found none that can recover photos or other data from an iPad that was erased as part of an iOS upgrade. You can do a web search for something like "iPhone photo recovery" and you'll find some utilities you can try.

I recently installed the trial version of Adobe XI and the trial period ended, so I wanted to revert back to the version I already had. I did not see any uninstall feature and my old version was apparently replaced by the trial version. I cannot re-install a previous version b/c I need both a product Id (GOd only knows where that is now) and a way to uninstall the trial. Any ideas?
When you installed the trial, there should have been an option to have ignored your current installation and leave it. Apparently you skipped that case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to Control Panel>Programs & Features and select the Acrobat XI and choose uninstall. After the uninstall run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean up your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in that window, do not run the cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.
You did not mention the old version you had. You might try from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. As for the S/N, you should have register and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.
Be sure to backup any download of the old installer and the S/N to CD or backup HD for future use. They will not likely continue to be available. -
I recently installed a trail version of a software and now to install the full version i have to delete the trail completely from my mac. How do I do that?

If the new version has an uninstaller run it first. Othewise with Mac OS drag the app to the trash and empty the trash. Do an install if a dialog box asks if you want to replace or keep files with similar names choose replace. -
I did the recent update on my ipad 7.0.4 and now it keeps freezing up and can not use it. Tried reboot and works for a second then freezes right up again. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Seems like you tried this all ready and it didn't help.
Next might be to reset all settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings
Note that when you do this you will not lose data but you will have to enter all passwords again.
If that doesn't help you might tries a restore of your iPad using iTunes on the computer you normall sync with. Do a backup and save all data first. Or
Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -
