Recently updated iOS 7.1 additional fix bug and my phone keeps restarting
Yeah that is what I thought, but the passcode used to be alpha numeric and just changed to being 4 didgets and I don;t recall making that change. This is only to approve updates on my iPhone. The other issue is on my mac pro.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Seems like you tried this all ready and it didn't help.
Next might be to reset all settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings
Note that when you do this you will not lose data but you will have to enter all passwords again.
If that doesn't help you might tries a restore of your iPad using iTunes on the computer you normall sync with. Do a backup and save all data first. Or
Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -

My Yahoo mail account has suddenly stopped working. Have deleted and re installed but still not working. Recently updated iOS could this be related?
Try resetting the Yahoo password. Yahoo not infrequently has problems.

Hi there did you end up getting this resolved? I have the same exact same issue with my Ipad 4 when updating to 8.1.3....frozen on the apple logo. Tried resetting as advised by other users but just goes back to the same logo. Tried connecting to iTunes but device is not picked up at all. Left it over night to run flat hoping charging might kick start something....but when I put on the charger it shows the battery charge icon but won't actually charge it. I recently updated iTunes to version 11.5.5, and now my iPhone 5 will not sync up completely with iTunes. ITunes will recognize and sync up, but I now cannot manage my music on my phone. Also, all of my playlists on my iPhone were wiped out. It would be great to retrieve my phone playlists, but more important, be able to manage my music again. I'm running on Windows 7 and I own iPhone 5. Suggestions?

Recently updated Numbers to Version 3.5.2 and now also seem to have Numbers Version 2.0 on my launchpad? Can anyone explain how this has happened - how do I get rid of it? Not able to move to Trash.
What is strange however is that my iMac is only a few months old and they all were upgraded to V3.x just a few months ago - with all Apps for iWork removed at that time.
Unless you did something specific to remove the old versions of the iWork apps (not advisable) then, as Wayne points out, they were not actually removed from your Mac, just moved into that subfolder within your main Applications folder.
I originally downloaded Numbers 2.x from the App Store (i.e. didn't install from a disk). I still have it on my Mac. But only Numbers 3.x appears in Launchpad.
I don't know whether this will help, but in Mac App Store you might try clicking 'Account' under 'Quick Links' on the right, signing in with your password, and clicking the 'Reset' button to the right of 'Reset all warnings for buying and downloading'. Sometimes the App Store gets a little confused. It's possible Launchpad may be taking its cue from the App Store in showing that old version of Numbers.
By Launchpad I assume you really mean Launchpad, not the Dock. I usually use the Dock. If that's what you're using too, then of course you can just drag the icon for the old Numbers off the Dock and it will vanish. (But the Numbers 2.3 application will still be there in that subfolder when you need it.)

An iPhone 3GS is too old to update to the very latest iOS and you will never be able to use apps that are compatible. The phone is just too old now in technology terms and the app makers have all moved on, so it's time to get a new phone.
Ideally, perhaps get an iPhone 4s or if you can afford it, an iPhone 5s or 5c which are the newest models. -
