"Recents" for calls on iOS 6 not remembering view

After upgrading to iOS 6, I've noticed that the "Recents" calls view will change from "Missed" to "All" by itself. I always leave it on the ”Missed" view, I noticed this in iOS 6 beta 1 and hoped it would get fixed before release...
Has anyone else noticed this?

I was able to finally get the push notifications work. The steps are below. Mind you I attempted a few things in the previous days prior to these steps. So those few things might help if you are still having problem after applying the fix below. Those few things were: deleting and reinstalling twitter app, restoring the iOS device, revoke and undo revoke all my ios apps in my account settings on twitter's website.
Important: If you have multiple ios devices, make sure you apply these steps to all devices at the same time.
1 Open twitter app
2 go to the profile of each of the people you are following. Click the person icon and select turn off notifications.
3 Go to Me / settings / notifications. Turn off all notifications.
4 Go to your iOS device settings / notifications / twitter. Turn off all notification options.
5 Turn off all your iOS devices. Wait for a few minutes.
6 Turn on the devices. Go to twitter app / me / settings / notifications. Check if all the notifications on all devices are still set to Off. If any option is not showing as Off, set it to Off. Repeat step 5 for all devices. Repeat again if necessary.
7 if all notifications are set to off when you turn the devices back on, you can now turn on your twitter notifications for all devices as usual. Don't forget to visit the notification center.

Restore (and reset password) on your device by connecting it to the last computer to which it was connected:

If you cannot connect it to the computer to which the device was last connected you will have to use recovery mode to completely reset the device, losing all data:

My microphoone works for calls skype ect. but not on video's? I have a Iphone 4 and ios7.

My ios 7.0.2 Iphone 4's microphone has stopped working on video's but works for everything else calls, facetime ect. I have tried using a pin in the secondary mic but still nothing? I have also tried going through settings but can't find anything was working about 2 months ago but must of happened in between because i only used it yesterday and found out... so please help I don't want to have to go to apple only to be told they can't fix it and I should by there new lastest product!

You have to call your carrier and tell them about it since these are the features control by your carrier.
Did you try a reset?
Press Home and Sleep button together about 10 secs or more till you see the Apple logo.

ITunes Not Remembering View Options for iPod

I just upgraded to 7.0.1 to see if it would fix this problem, but no dice. The view options for my 5G 80GB reset back to the factory settings each time I disconnect my iPod, or even if I restart iTunes and leave the iPod connected.
I'd like to have the browser up and have some of the other options changed, like showing track numbers and time. This used to be a setting that always stayed the same with my previous iPod.
I upgraded my iTunes to 7.0 and bought my new iPod at the same time, so I'm not sure which is actually having the problem. Anyone else notice this?

I'm having exactly the same problem with iTunes 7.0.2 and a 80gb iPod. It's really annoying. It should remember the view options, at least iTunes 6 did.

When you say 'changed my email with the itunes store and have a new password' do you mean that you've changed the email address on that old account, or are you referring to a different account ?
If you've updated the old account then try logging out of the account on the phone by tapping on the id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in with the updated version.
If they are different accounts then all apps (and other content from the store) are tied to the account that downloaded them, so only that account will be able to download updates to them. For apps like Twitter and Facebook you could delete them from the phone and redownload them via your account so that they are linked to that instead.
If there are apps that have content in them, and you can't copy that content off (so that you can delete the app, buy/download it on your account, and copy the content back), then you will need the password to the old account to be able to update them. You should be able to get it reset via http://iforgot.apple.com

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

Itunes not remembering view/sort options

This has probably been asked before, but I'm having trouble finding it (probably not using the right search terms). Anyway, ever since Itunes 10 I've been sorting my albums in a Grid with the option to sort by Album/Year. So my albums for each genre are grouped first by artist, then by year, which is perfect and exactly what I want. However, every time I open Itunes it "forgets" to group by year, and only groups the albums by artist. To correct it, I have to click the "Album by Artist/Year" button at the top of the list every single time I open Itunes, and usually I have to do it for each genre. So annoying. Is there any fix for this? Thanks for any answers.

If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

All other sites are being remembered.

The saved password feature worked well, but the site I had saved the password for required that I change the password. I have found no way to update the password in Firefox. After I deleted the saved password, Firefox did not ask if I wanted the new password saved. When this happened before, I removed and re-installed Firefox, and then it worked. I hope there is another way to update a password.

Jabber for Window, phone mode, how to disable "use my computer for calls"

We have a Citrix environment and only want to control the Cisco deskphone with Jabber for Windows in the phone mode.
We use CUCM 8.6.2 and I have installed Jabber for Windows 9.7.0 and all works fine, I can control my deskphone, make and receive calls, phonebook and Outlook integration works fine.
Is it possible to disable "use my computer for calls" as we do not want users to make calls via Citrix, but only use the deskphone for this.

Soft-phone mode cannot be disabled. Supported Features on Virtual Environment are the following.
Supported Features
    Instant messaging and presence with other Cisco Jabber clients
    Desk phone control
    Voicemail
    Presence integration with Microsoft Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2013
We have an existing defect which is in Terminated state because feature is not supported hence cannot be fixed.

Slideshow Music not remembered??

I'm running iPhoto '08 7.1.2 on my Intel iMac running OS 10.4.11. For some reason, iPhoto will not remember Slideshow music assignments. When I click the Play button for an album, I get this message "The music you selected can't be found or can't be opened".
The good news is that if I click the Music pane in Slideshow settings, the music can indeed be found and played every time. But it seems strange to have to assign the music each time I play the slideshow. Any thoughts on how to get iPhoto to remember music assignments? Thanks!

You are clicking on the Save button in the Setting pane, right? If so and it's still not remembering the selection delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder and then try again.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

You don't. If you do not know it, then you cannot use the backup.
You should have been syncing your contacts to your computr regularly, so they should be on your computer in whatever program you have been syncing.
