Recharge: Muvo2 5GB FM stops charging after it's fully charg

Hi, I have a Muvo2 5GB FM and is it normal that the mp3 player stops recharging (so the blue light stops flashing and logo's on display disappears) after it is fully recharged?
When it's fully charged I see the 'plug' logo on the display flashing one time and after that the blue light stops flashing and logo's disappear from the display...
Is this normal?
Thanx!

Yes it's switched off when it recharges...
I found it weird at first, because I didn't noticed a 'plug' logo and suddenly the player stopped recharging and in the manual it says that when you see the plug logo then it's fully recharged.
But anyway thanx!

    - Try:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Next try letting the battery fully drain. After charging for a least an hour try again
    - Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store, it appears you have a hardware problem.

    - Try another cable if available
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

What do you mean it is not working?  Does it power on?  Is it recognized in iTunes?  Need a bit more detail in order to assist you here.

  • Is there a charger that stops charing your iPhone after it is fully charged?

This relates to the over-charging problem where leaving it charging over night wears down your battery life over time.

That is false. You can not overcharge your battery. The iphone battery will maintain 80% of it's charge after 400 full cycles. So if you charge your battery when it is 80% it is not a full cycle, but instead 20% of one cycle. Charing it overnight will NOT wear down your battery, instead it's dependent on how many full cycles you have gone through with your battery.

  • After Ipod freezes, fully charged battery dies

My iPod has had freezing troubles lately, and I know how to unfreeze it. The problem is that even if it had a full charge, after I unfreeze the iPod, it has no charge, like it has been completely drained.
This iPod is only 3 weeks old, and I am wondering if this is a problem I should address now, and just apply for a new one, or if this is fixable.
Any help would be awesome, thanks!

  • MacBook Pro won't turn on after closing lid & fully charged. Help!

I have a MacBook Pro from June 2008, I have been using it all day, this evening it was fully charged and I left it on with the screen open - by the time I came back the screen was black ( I assumed it had gone to sleep) I closed the lid to take it upstairs to discover that when I opened it the power light was not on. When I press the power button nothing happens, but if I hold the power button for around 5 seconds the light stays on, the laptop sounds like it is trying to start up but then dies. I have tried the smc reset, but it has not worked. Also tried taking the battery out and trying this with just power adapter. Does anyone have any clues to what is wrong? Or do I just take it into the apple store?
Thanks, really could do with some help!!

    Hey Pascale,
I am not sure if you have fixed this but I had the same problem and found some advice from another website...
    http://www.adeepbite.com/lion-seems-having-insomnia-it-doesnt-sleep-easily/
All I had to do was turn off my "internet sharing"  (System preferences -> Sharing -> Internet Sharing (uncheck) )
and presto, no more closing lid problems.
If your internet sharing wasn't the issue then I don' t know what is.
    Cheers

  • Iphone 5 not charging after using third party charger.

I know there's a lot of threads that discuss this topic but I haven't found someone who has the exact situation as mine.
I broke my original charging cable and replace it with a third party thunderbolt cable. It charges once by fluctuating all the time. Now my battery is 0% and the third party thunderbolt cable doesn't work. I decided to replace it with an original thunderbolt cable but it still doesn't charge. It doesn't show anything even the battery symbol. Just blank off screen. I also let it plugged as I hope that it just needs to charge the battery because it's drained but I guess that's not the case. I'm charging via the wall charger.  I also tried to connect it in the usb port of my computer and it still doesn't work. Any fixes that you guys can recommend? I am on a panic right now. . Technically this cable should work as this is the cable from apple. Thanks.

Yes I'm well aware of patents but I have used third party chargers fine with all my previous iphones. I can buy replacement third party chargers to all my other electronics, why is it that apple has to tie me into using their charging cable, it is anti-competitive and possibly an illegal practice.
If you aren't going to offer helpful advice, then please don't state the obvious!! I wasn't aware that cables were under warranty, so being in a position that I couldn't afford another apple charger I have used another charger which has by the looks of things broken my phone. So again can I do anything to try and fix it? Does anyone know whether I have a case against the manufacturer of the 3rd party cable? Is apple being anti competitive? Id appreciate helpful comments please.

  • Laptop won't start without charger!! (battery fully charged but worthless)

My Macbook Pro won't turn on unless its plugged into the charger. If I turn it on without it being plugged in, it'll begin starting up, then immediatly shut down (the battery is fully charged). Does anyone know how to fix this problem? It's really getting me worried!!

I updated it about two to three times and would still experience the same problem.
Why update 3 times?!? If you run an update, and it installs normally, that it - done!
There's a world of difference between running BatteryUpdate 1.2 and installing a new battery. In fact, if you read the linked page above, it states that the after you run battery update if you experience any of the listed problems you should contact AppleCare. Their first step will be to replace the battery. Could it be a logic board problem? Sure. Is that the first thing they'll do? No. By that reasoning, the first thing to try if your car fails to start on a cold morning is to put in a new engine...
So, to the OP, contact Apple - or better yet, if it's convenient, go in to an Apple Store. Get a new battery. If the problem persists, go from there. The advantage of taking it into a Store is that they'll test it on the spot.

  • Battery died, wont hold a charge, just died.  Fully charged battery dies in approx 2 hours.  Is it battery gone bad. Or something causing battery to use excessive amount of energy.  Do you lose data if battery goes out?

Battery died, wont hold a charge.  After fully charging battery, battery loses all power in 2 hours. Is this indicative of a battery gone bad or something else?  Will I lose data if battery completely dies?

    Hi, thanks for the reply.
Yes I have done the reset-didn't work.
Yeh, the calibration was done so the phone turned off, then plugged back in to charge back to 100%!
The iphone4s was connected to the charger outlet, the second I unplugged the phone the battery percentage went from 100% to 98%.
AS we speak my phone is now on 100%, after 10 mins usage and 33 minutes standby. This just doesn't correlate with the decrease in battery life associated with every other number (e.g 99,98,97%) apart from when it is on 100%.

  • My iphone will not work unless i plug it into my wall charger. but it is fully charged! When I turn it on (only turns on while plugged into wall) it says it needs to be My iphone will not work unless i plug it into my wall charger. but it is fully charged

My iPhone will not work unless I plug it into my wall charger, It is fully charged but only works when it is plugged in to wall charger. When it is turned on it say "Restore needed iphone can not make or receive calls' i tried plugging it up to Itunes but it will not turn on to sync.

First try a hard reset, press and hold the power button and home buttons until the phone restarts and displays the Apple Logo, then let go.
    If that doesn't work...
Try forcing recovery mode and then restore with iTunes.

  • When i plug in my 5c overnight to charge, it did not fully charge

my iPhone 5c has ios 8.1.2  the memory available is 7.8gb storage capacity is12.8gb.  when I plug in the charger to charge overnight, it does not fully charge.  my phone was at 40% power last night and I plugged in the charger and this morning it was at only 61% power.  When I plugged it in, the battery symbol did not turn green, nor did it make the beep sound.  What is wrong?

Are you using a genuine Apple charger and cable? If not, I would suspect there's a problem with either the plug or cable. Also, make sure the outlet you're using is working properly. Did a breaker blow through the night?

  • When it says CHARGED is it really fully charged?

How can you tell if it is the fast charged (up to 80%) or if it is fully charged?
When it shows the plug and says charged at the top is it 100% or 80%?
How can you tell the difference?
    CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?
    replies would be appreciated.

it will take a couple of full charge/discharge cycles before the battery (and the battery indicator) synch up to a full charge
the battery indicator may show red and there could still be many hours of life left in the battery, so wait a few days

  • I have a Power Shot SD4500 IS and after battery is fully charged battery runs down without any use.

I have a Power Shot SD4500 IS and after charging battery  then placing in camera and within a day the battery is dead.  I have tried replacing with a new battery and have the same problem.  Any suggestions?
The last time (2 years ago) I had a problem with my previous ELPH I was told it was less expensive to replace the camera than to repair, but after buying 2 in 5 years with limited use, this is getting old.
    HELP

    Pharmboy007,
I would like to ask a couple questions to see if I can determine what is causing the issue.
How long is the camera sitting before you are using it and finding out that the battery is no longer charged?
Does this happen with other batteries, or just the one battery?
