REcieved BT Bill even after giving one month of No...

Hi,
I know BT are desperate to keep customers, but when someone cancels, it becomes dishonest and i would have thought illegal for them to keep billing them.
 I cancelled my BT subscription by giving 1 month's notice. I was not in any contract.
They explained to me that I have to pay 30GBP for cancellation if the new tenant doesnt take up th line. I agreed that I dont know when the new tenant will move in and if he doesnt take the same line then I will pay the cancellation ...but please close the account. Which the guy on that day confirmed to me as being processed.
For some reason though, I received an email today whereby I have been billed for next month cycle for both Phone and Broadband.
I am out of property and don't live there anymore and being billed for a service that I will no longer use and have already infomed BT for the stopping.
I called up BT to enquire. 5 or 6 phone calls later (from call center Guys in India .each of which I have to hold for at least 10 mins, and one of which the operator hung up on me! and each call costing many ££s) I was advised that there is no record for my notice in the systems. I told them a date then she managed to dig out the call (after 5 mins of hold) that I indeed made a call on the date I told but there is no record. After asking for the recording of the call and escalation to manager ...She became nice however and she said she will raise a complaint on my behalf and the manager will listen to call and will call back . 
I got the call from Manager (Call Center India) on time mentioned and the manager repeats the same thing that he has gone thrugh the recording but he can't listen that I requested any cancellation. Although he confirmed the part conversation that I told them that I am moving out a new tenant will come in.
Asking for the details of conversation recording to be emailed to me He tells me that I need to pay 10pounds more as it's DAta protection (My own data and my own conversation) and gave me a postal address to send the cheque and request for the recordings.
This is highly unprofessional of BT (maybe call center guys can't understand ENGLISH) as I know why I called BT on X day and Y time... and what I requested. BT doesnt offer free phone-pleasure service :-) whereby I would call them hold the line for 30 mins to say I am moving house.. please keep on billing me :-)
It's very stupid of them telling me that I indeed called up but for What...????
Well I am clearly not getting anywhere on the phone, so I am posting on this forum in the hope that someone can steer me in the right direction to get this resolved please.
Or maybe on weekend Everything goes to Call centers in India who dont know how to deal with matters and just repeat a Script in fornt of them.
Is the only way to resolve, or is there a department that listens and doesn't leave you with your lunch break wasted and blood pressure raised?

  • Protect The Cells in the Excel Sheet Even After giving the password.

    Hi All,
    I need to protect the cells in the report even after unprotecting the sheet after giving password.
    That is, i have used some excel formulas in some cells, these cells are to be protected.
    In Reports using EVDRE all the cells are getting, "Locked" option selected in the Protection tab by default. Even if we change that Option and refresh the sheet Locked is getting selected again.
    So once we Protect the sheet using password all cells are getting locked. But once we remove password all cells are free to enter.
    I want the user of the Sheet to use only certain columns in the Sheet. and all the other columns should not be user editable.
    Please help me out in solving this issue.

    Hi Vijaya,
    I tested in my test environment and even after refresh , the range cells are still editable, they didnt get locked. I did the following:
    1. Selected the range or column in Excel, then Tools - Protection - Allow users to edit range. I selected the range and gave the password.
    2. Next I protected the complete sheet.
    3. Now entire sheet is protected. Now again I selected the range in which I want to edit, first time it will ask for password which you gave for the range. So I gave and I was able to edit the cells.
    4. I selected other cells and was not able to edit it so they are still locked.
    5. I tried to refresh the report , and then I selected the range cells to edit and still I was able to edit it. Those cells didnt get locked.
    So did you do the same things?

    I understand you are having issues adding payment information to your account. In my experience, this usually occurs due to two common reasons (though there may be more):
    If your account information does not match your credit card, you may get a message stating "The credit card was declined."

    That would be between the you and the carrier that you have the contract with. In the past, I was able to purchase only one month of service from AT&T. Not sure what carrier you have or what contract you have, but you would have to cancel it with them.

  • I  have  purchased   british library  apps.  but  unable  to  access   the  collection   even  i  bought one month  subscription.   done  all  possible   way .  .

    i  am  facing  a  real trouble  to use   British Library apps ,  i have  done   all possible  ways  to    rectify  but invain.  i  bought   one  month subscription as well.

    Well I got something going on here.   I opened Parallels > Windows 7.  Turned on and registered iTunes in Windows.  It asked for an Airplay pin number.   I put one in and I was able to pull up my iTunes library.   But the one in Windows was empty, so I dragged about a dozen movies over from my iMac iTunes into the movie library of the Windows iTunes.  And then I could watch the movies on my TV using ATV from Windows.   For the next couple of hours I kept messing with both iTunes, loosing Apple TV connection to my computer a couple of times.   Now, in order to see my IMac iTunes library, I have to open my iMac iTunes program, then open Parallels>Windows7>iTunes in order to view the videos in my iMac iTunes folder. What is this all about?  Pretty convoluted way to see a movie.
    Also, I cannot figure out how to see my iMac desktop (or drives) on Parallels, so I really don't understand the connection with the two iTune libraries.  Both Libraries do show up on my TV under Apple TV> Computers.
    When I open the Windows iTunes windows, a SHARED section opens  up in my Imac iTunes, on the sidebar.  When I close the Windows iTunes Window, it goes away.  How can I get it to stay on, without using the Windows partition?
    Why didn't the iMac iTunes ask for an Airplay pin?  What is that? 
    Didn't remember seeing anything like this in the Apple Support Communities.

    Corrected the query.
    The column is of VARCHAR2 type. This is because, the table is loaded, through sqlldr, every day from flat files generated form GLOBUS banking system. Column is kept as VARCHAR2 to minimize the loading issues.

    We have built a query which is having Sum GT function used and also Constant for some characterstics.
    But when we execute the query the user is getting not authorized message. If i run the query without  the SUM GT and Constant RKF and CKF its running fine.

    I have done the way to display the authorization but still its giving the error no authorization  and for change  i have removed the Auth relavant Char from the filter which is having the variable (authorization type ) now its showing the report but four Key figure columns are not shown.
    These key figure columns are SUM GT function  which will bring the total value of a characterstic. So where am i going wrong because as i have given the : authorizaiton it should give the aggregated value for these columns and give full details for his authorized zone.
    if i don't add the variable its giving all the data without these four key figures what i am expecting is it should give data for the authorized zone but also show the aggregated value in the SUM GT key figures as they are authorized with : authoriztion.

  • Cursor remains in the selectionscreen even after giving the possible inputs

    I am working for an Upgrade project (upgradation from 4.6 version to ECC 6 version) and the problem is in the ECC 6 Version.
    When I press on the execute button or F8 from the selection screen by giving all the possible inputs, cursor position still remains in the same screen giving some status message in some different language other than English which i cannot understand i.e. Program is maintained in some other language other than English.
    This program is giving output for the same inputs in the 4.6 version.
    can anyone help me regarding this issue by letting me know some possible solution.

  • Unable to view Business areas even after giving administrator rights

    I have been given permission as administrator i.e all privileges are given. All roles have been selected for that particular user. When I tried to access the userid I get a message 'Does not have access to any EULs ...' . But when my administrator logs in with my user id he did not get any error.
    The only difference I am able to find is the EUL version. The EUL version from his administrator edition is 4.1.37.00.0. Whereas when I log in with my administrator edition the EUL version is 5i. Will the EUL version make the difference. Or will there be any other reason. If so what is the step to overcome?

    Hi,
    When you can't access to a business area is due to the user hasn't permission for Database tables. You can have two identical Discoverer users and one can access to a business area and the other no.
    If you want to access to a business area first you must check if you have select and create session permission for the database tables. If so, is when you must check rights in Discoverer.

  • Why the Fibre uplink ports are down state even after giving no shutdown command at the interface

    My Predecessors brought 2 CISCO 3750 switches and implemented LACP on these core switches. Due to looping in the network the Fibre uplink ports GigabitEthernet1/1/3 and GigabitEthernet2/1/3 are down (I think these uplink ports are mirrored in the LACP concept)
    Please see below from the configuration.
    I logged into the core switch and went to this particular interface GigabitEthernet1/1/3 and I gave the following command and still the port is in the down state after I gave no shutdown command. Do I need to give the same no shutdown command at interface GigabitEthernet2/1/3 as well ?

    It is possible you are overloading that little 4215. If that is the case you should also be seeing "missed packet percentage" messages in your events.
    How much traffic is your 4215 getting? Those sensors will start to drop packets for inspection at about 30 Mb/s.
