Reciever Interface missing in SXMB_MONI

Hi,
When an XML message is generated in my backend ECC 6.0 system, SXMB_MONI does not show any entry in the Reciever Interface coloumn.
Hence the message will never go to the PI server.
SLD & SM59 connections are working fine.
Could we be missing out on something?

Check with Michel's Blog I cannot see some of my messages in the SXMB_MONI

also Check ur SMQ1 & SMQ2 Transactions.
Suppose if any queues are struck the messages are not coming to Receciver side,.
Check ur XI system & Receiver system

Hi All,
Some of the interfaces that are getting executed in PI7.1 have wrong reciever message interface name in SXMB_MONI view.
In SOAP Envelope
1.Reciever message interface name is getting populated in <SAP:Sender> tag and
2. Sender message interface name is getting populated in <SAP:Receiver> tag.
But the end to end message flow is getting executed succesfully.
It is not particular to any one of the interfaces. It is occuring randomly.
Did any one encounter this problem earlier?Please share your inputs to resolve the same.

Hi,
The SAP note mentioned - contains details specific to SOAP Adapter.
The problem which we have mentioned is occurring across adapters.
Even in SICF transaction. All the details have been correctly maintained.
Any further steps to resolve the issue will be helpful.

Report -use r interface missing

while executing the report i'm getting message status gui1000 of user interface missing& standard icons like back/save etc at top are all greyed out.
PL suggest

Are executing a custom report ? i think your gui-status is missing or not active.. search thru the code and find where the line
set pf-status 'gui1000'.

Entry missing in sxmb_moni

Hi,
My interface recived meeages through http and uses a BPM for some other synchronous calls in the flow.
We were testing negative test cases and asked the sender system to send a wrongly formatted message.
but the problem now is that a message that was sent by a third party to XI entered the BPM and i can see the entry in the transaction 'sxmb_moni_bpe' but where it failed (as expected) but when i try to see the corresponding entry in transaction 'sxmb_moni' i'm not able to.
It looks like the message hit the BPE but not the IE !
However this did not happen in the test environment. Could any one who has a suggestion or experienced similar cases help ?

Please check both LOGGING & LOGGING_SYNC parameters configuration on both TEST and PROduction environments
baiscally these 2 or LOGGING_PROPAGATION parameter used to perform logging/tracing fuctionality globally of IE.
Parameter LOGGING or LOGGING_SYNC (category RUNTIME) to activate logging of asynchronous or synchronous messages locally for the whole Integration Engine. This means that all service calls of all pipelines of this Integration Engine are logged.
Parameter LOGGING_PROPAGATION (category RUNTIME) to activate logging globally. This means that message processing is logged until it is complete on all involved Integration Engines.
And also, check how these 2 parameters are configured TRACE_LEVEL, TRACE_LEVEL_PROPAGATION for category RUNTIME in both the environments.

Async Client proxy -PI - File scenario- Pipeline steps missing in SXMB_MONI

I made a scenario where an ABAP client proxy(in a BW system) pulls data from a BW table and push it to PI.
In PI a Mapping is done to write an XML file and sump it to a desired location.
It is working fine in the development environment(request send to PI and mapped into an xml file)..so i migrated it to the quality/test environment where it started failing(It is only visible till SXMB_MONI of Client system and not reaching PI in case of quality/test environment).
I checked SLDCHECK in the Client environments (say DWC for development and DWA for quality) and it looks fine.
All I could see is:
In SXMB_MONI of development system DWC--> Steps that are followed are
Inbound Message
Call Integration Server
Response
In SXMB_MONI of quality/test system DWA-->The only step is
Inbound Message
Could this be an Integration Server issue ??
Please advise !!

check and compare the the parameter are set in SXMB_ADM of Dev system with Quality system.

Response payload missing in SXMB_MONI

Dear All,
I have a query related to Response payload in SXMB_MONI.
I am using IDOC-XI-FILE & FILE-XI-IDOC asynchronous scenario . Output xml files and idocs are generated properly.
<b>In SXMB_MONI,when I click on successful processed message it is not showing me the Response payload-MainDocument(application/xml).</b>
<b>I was able to see response payload in my Development server but in production server I am not able to see the reponse payload.</b>
I am using SP15.
I tried to activate services also using t-code SICF but not able to solve the problem yet.
Can anybody suggest me solution to this problem.

we had the same problem when we upgraded to SP15, we consulted SAP and they came up with the answer that this is a known bug in SP15. This seems to have been fixed in SP16.

I am reading a fixed width file using File sender adapter.
The data in the fixed width file is

In the recordset structure it is defined Header,,Item,
Header.fieldFixedLengths = 1,22
Header.endSeparator = 'nl'
Header.fieldNames = TYPE,CODE
Header.keyFieldName = 'H'

Header.ignoreRecordsetName = true
Item.fieldFixedLengths = 1,10
Item.endSeparator = 'nl'

In the data type the definition of file is

The file is read but not shown in Message monitoring and SXMB_MONI.
but if i change the cardinality of recordset structure from Header,1,Item,1
I get the file in sxmb_moni but the structure is wrong.
Can any one tell what is wrong ?

I dont think there is a Name value pair key called..
<field>.keyFieldName
Check this one..it should be
Key Field Name = TYPE in the content conversion params and these entries in the namevalue pairs
Header.keyFieldValue=H
Item.keyFieldValue=I
Remember to remove the quotes - ' from the Value..The records pciked have to be chked for H not 'H'

Synchronous interfaces missing in Java proxy generation

In PI 7.1 ESR, in "Java proxy generation" wizard, it only lists the Asynchronous interfaces from the software component version. None of the synchronous interfaces are listed. how can I solve this? I need to generate a java proxy for a syncronous interface.

Make sure that the inteface pattern is "stateless (XI 3.0 compatible)".

Outbound Message Missing from SXMB_MONI IN ECC

I have checked tcode SXMB_MONI IN ECC server but XML message is not showing in this tcode ,whereas XML message is showing in tcode SXMB_MONI of PI server .

HID interface misses reports if mouse is connected on the same hub

Hello all,
I have designed a usb based oscilloscope for my device (HID Full Speed). It works fine. But when i connect the mouse to the same hub as the device, my device starts missing reports frequently. I have verified it both through my own software and a third party
software (USBLyzer) which shows that the PC doesn't poll my device every millisecond, which it should.
I have searched thouroughly but didn't find anyone facing the same problem. It would be very nice of you if you could help me identify and correct the problem. I have tested it on different PC also

Your hub is probably running out of "juice". If you power the hub via the USB cable connected to your PC then it can draw a maximum of 500 mA which it must distribute between its own electronics, the CRO and the mouse. To solve the problem you must use an
external power supply for the hub (if it has a suitable socket) or purchase a different hub that comes with its own power pack.

ITunes COM interface missing

I have recently updated to iTunes 8 (8.0.0.35 on Windows XP Pro). I was using a little self-written C# application to control iTunes using my mouse's special buttons (the mouse driver supports this out of the box, however not in the way I want it to).
After the update, the application stopped working throwing an “interface not supported” 0x80004002 E_NOINTERFACE error. When I tried recompiling the tool from source, there was an error loading the iTunes COM interface. When checking the list of available COM interfaces in Visual Studio I noticed the “iTunes {VersionNumber} Type Library” interface was not listed.
Did Apple remove the iTunes Type Library COM interface or was there just some error while installing iTunes 8 so it did not get registered?
Btw: You don't need Visual Studio to check whether the COM interface is available; a lot of other applications allow using COM interfaces aswell, i.e. Visual Basic for Office (go to Tools » References and search the list for iTunes; my system lists iTunesAdmin, iTunesOutlookAddIn, iTunesPhotoSupport)

Maybe you can figure out which registry settings to add/delete...
But you can apparently also fix it by:
1) uninstalling iTunes 8
2) Installing iTunes 7.7
3) Uninstalling iTunes 7.7
4) installing iTunes 8 again

PI 7.1 Sender Interface and Receiver Interface gets interchanged

Hi All,
I m facing a strange problem in PI 7.1
For many of my scenarios, the Sender Interface, sender namespace and receiver Interface, receiver namespace information gets interchanged and displayed incorrectly.
But sometimes its working fine.
When we analysed the Log messages, found that, after xml validation step, the sender and reciever interface gets interchanged.
Any idea why this happens?
How to rectify this error?

Please check your message interfaces once again. Sender is outbound and Receiver is inbound.
Also please check your receiver determination.
