How can I tune my Oracle8i server that it can send to client program (for example on java) messages about new updates, new records and more ???

"Updating Corel products
You can use the InstallShield Update Manager to check for updates to Corel software and other software products online. When product updates become available, you can choose to have them downloaded and installed automatically. You can also set how often the Update Manager checks for product updates.
You can access the Update Manager by clicking Program Updates on the Start menu of the Windows taskbar. For information about using the Update Manager, see the Help topics in the Update Manager dialog box

My boyfriend isnt recieveing my messages after new update. He only sees the message whem he opens the app. We are both on vodafone i recieve his and my friends recieve mine so it cant be the network. Battery life seems short
Click (www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html) for tips on how to prolong iPhone's battery life.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Connect iPhone to iTunes and restore iPhone.
If the screen shows a low-battery image, the battery is low on power and needs to charge for up to ten minutes before you can use it.
When charging iPhone, make sure to leave it charging until it is fully charged. You'll know the battery is fully charged when the battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen looks like this .
Note: When charging using a computer, don't connect iPhone to a keyboard. Also, the computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode. If iPhone is connected to a computer that's not turned on or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPhone battery may drain.
Note: Charging with a FireWire-based power source is not supported, except on original iPhone.
If you continue to have battery-life issues, we may need to isolate the issue further. It might be best to restore your iPhone as new, then test once more:

I am not sure if this is the place to complain about new update iOS7, since update I can't read or see well text or numbers , thin text blurry backgrounds and difficult to use touch with fine control buttons

While this new update looks futuristic, I am very confused with layout, navigation and texting

However, after several hours of readjusting settings
and finding ways to hold device so natural light does not bounce on it the problem got easier to manage.
Here are my suggestions:
In settings
Wallpaper and Brightness
Change Home Screen to Black Color
In General go to Accessibility
Vision
Change text size and turn on Bold
Increase Contrast n turn on
Reduce Motion in my opinion, letters are less skittish/ cartoon type
Under Physical n Motor Adjust Switch Control Options
Pointer size and color choices help
I also find holding the device further way from face
helps glare
Truly the layout for day time reading is extremely poor
Night time reading in the dark much improved
My last suggestion is to send Apple feedback apple.com/feedback
hopefully after they read the complaints they will make changes

Personally prior to iOS 7 I was glued to my phone and iPad
It was getting addicting
The iOS update has been a quick cure LoL
10 min and I'm blind and sick to my stomach looking at

I just installed SL a few days ago. I tried downloading the latest Apple Qmaster update but after it downloads, my Mac tells me that the file was corrupted and to try again. I'm just afraid that something is wrong with my install of SL and that I'm not getting the new software updates from Apple. Is there something wrong on my side?

Message about new service on OD master main screen?

Hi,
When I start Server Admin and go to Computers & Services and click on my
OD master I see the following message on it's main screen...
"This server contains new or upgraded services that need to be
configured to use single sign-on Kerberos authentication. Services that
already use Kerberos on this server will not be affected. Select Open
Directory in the Computers & Services list, then click Settings."
In Setting I see nothing different or anything that looks like it needs attention.
Anyone have any idea what the services could be?

Hi,
today the user whose account has been affected came back from Christmas holidays. Simply deleting the file "/var/db/dslocal/nodes/Default/users/xxxxx.plist" on the server fixed the problem.
He is now able to login via SSH, iChat, and so on, again.
So it is very obvious that the existence of the local cached Account (represented by "xxxxx.plist" within "/var/db/dslocal/nodes/Default/users/") was the reason for denying the authentication to the services.
Now one question is left: Why was it created?
Any ideas are welcome!

How do I send complaints about new updates?

Firefox continuously updates, without asking, changing my settings, and not allowing me to customize the tool bar how I want. How do I tell them that I do not appreciate this and find it to be extremely annoying?

If you want to stop automatic updates, you can go to Options (in the main menu unless you've moved it) > Advanced tab > Update tab, and select Check for updates but let me choose whether to install them.

How come the new updates have the same version as older one?

I received an email about new updates for my PC. Anyway I noticed that I think all or some of the updates have the same version as the previous drivers.
So why is that?

Actually the 'Date last modified' is different.
And I did update my pc even though it was running well.

Helloes everyone,
Im new in forums and Blackberry world and i will like to say some words about new update.
Well im a advanced computer user and i am always at home so i am working on a lot at electronics.
this morning i did update to phone. when i get my phone to my hand as updated i really didnt like what i saw. everything was resetted updates and other things BUT :
i use maps and the thing is i use as GPS i see my speed where i am and other staff, ALSO
I'm using BIS with credit as my cell provider and im paying sunday to sunday. when i dont pay they cut BIS at 00:00am today they didn't or couldn't actually and i guess its cuz of update made Blackberries out of sync of provider. My Device is not activated. =)) but im using BIS BBM twitter facebook windows live messenger what ever app using internet. if it takes attention add me 22929C97.
And i have Internal app failture 597 i guess device restarts randomly and sometimes i turns off and red light blinks 3 times stops for 2 sec and blinks 3 times again i pull of battery and put back in it works =))

Hello Mamuq and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
For the App Error 597 you see on your BlackBerry, you might want to do a clean reload of the handheld software.
KB11320 will show you how do this reload. Be sure you back up prior as all your user data will be purged with the reload.
It is recommended to do a selective restore of your data after the reload to prevent the errors coming back on the device.
If you are using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6.0, see KB23680 for the restore process and KB10339 for the other versions.

You can't install 9.2.1 or earlier on any Mac that is only Mac OS X bootable. In fact you need to use the restore disks which came with those Macs to install 9.2.2 on those Macs. 8.6 is only possible to install on Macs which came with 8.6 or earlier. The 9.1 disk may be useful for your 1999 PowerMac G4, but won't be of any use for a 2006 Powerbook G4.

I ran the update and then firefox stopped working completely ggot a message about .dll that won't work with windows. tried toreinstall new copy of latest but they won't.

I just ran the update to .4 as the dialog box said to. Now firefox won't work at all. Nothing happens I get a message about a .dll file that is incompatible. Tried to doanload a new copy but that doesn't get any further starting to extract files then it fails to finish. Any thing I can do or have I lost evrery thing including my bookmarked sites?

Morbus! It worked like you said. Anyway I think the problem starts with maybe needing to completely clean up my OS and drives as they keep "filling up" real fast - much faster than my usage. Uninstall wouldn't work so I just oened up programs and fond the .exe and then deleted it. Scary moment as I really have seen others so mess up everything doing this but download went well of new copy and yes I have all my bookmarks and settings. YAYS!! so thank you again. Also running so much faster and no glitches like tabs not working th way they should. In end I think I need to get an upgrade from Vista home basic. and just then add my files one at a time to see how all goes.

Downloading iOS 5 deleted all my photos, contacts, and text messages, i recieved an (-50) error during setup, and i was running the new update of iTunes.

Also i just had updated my phone in October and it said the last time i updated 5/18/11 which is not true i am using a PC.

I had the same problem and managed to get all my old contacts back. It was because I synced my contacts toiCloud on the initial setup, but nothing was in there. If you go to settings-iCloud- and turn off contacts, your old contacts should appear!
